Up to date on all her vaccinations and spayed. She's a little timid at first but warms up quickly. She has very sweet eyes, a beautiful coat and super mellow personality. Winnie is good with our 3 dogs and walks perfectly on a leash. She is intrigued by our pig which is so cute, especially since Pippy accepts her. Please email Jennifer at jenndiego@hotmail.com if you are interested in meeting or adopting Miss Winnie. We are totally dedicated to helping her find a good loving home.

Story
Oden is a wonderful and growing Great Dane puppy. He spent the first five months of his life on a 5 to 6 foot chain. So when he arrived at the shelter, he did not have a lot of manners. But he is sweet as all get out. He is loving, playful, and just wonderful! **** Please read adoption information carefully!!!**** Odin is a stunningly handsome little boy -male, 7 months -supposedly pure-bread, -Neutered -Current Weight : 90 lbs, will grow -Crate trained -Potty trained Odin is a big, funny bundle of joy, energy, and affection. He is just a big goofball! Odin is still a puppy, and will continue to grow. He is on the bigger side, but has an abundance of affection and cuteness! Odin is a well-adjusted puppy who has been hand raised. He has never shown any signs of aggression of any kind, including food aggression, although he can occasionally be a little rambunctious. He really thinks that he is a little dog…. ? Odin wants to be a lapdog; he can’t quite figure out why he doesn’t fit in my lap, but he settles for putting his head in my lap, since the rest of him doesn’t fit 😜 Odin is used to playing and sleeping with the other dogs on the property. He is well socialized, both with humans and dogs. While I have never seen him interact with a cat, I have no reason to anticipate a problem. ************************************ ADOPTION INFORMATION ************************************ I only adopt LOCALLY; San Diego and immediate vicinity. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Foster or Forever Home Wanted!!!  Meet Obi!!! Obi came to us a few years back, was a volunteer favorite and was quickly adopted.  Sadly his family situation has changed and Obi is back with us looking for a new home.  Obi is a sweet, easy going sort of guy with some leash skills, house training and friendly with people and dogs.  Given Obi’s BIG size he may not be the best fit for a home with small children. Obi is slightly overweight and is looking for an active family to help him get back to his summer beach body.  If an extra-large dog who thinks he’s a lap dog sounds like the right fit for your home, Email dogs@labradorsandfriends.org or fill out our online application at www.labradorsandfriends.org.  Obi is located in Southern California.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 22, 2024, 5:16 pm

Story
*This is a courtesy listing.* Meet Captain! Captain needs a loving new home where he can be the only pet. He is an 8-year-old Great Dane that was adopted in mid-March from Riverside County Animal Services-Van Buren. Unfortunately, his adopters have not been able to successfully integrate Captain with their existing cats and dogs. In particular, he is aggressive towards their cats. For this reason, his adopters have made the difficult decision to rehome Captain. Captain has recently been evaluated by a veterinarian and is in overall good health. He is a bit underweight but has a good appetite and is eating a combination of wet and dry food twice a day. Both blood and urine tests came back within normal ranges and showed no underlying conditions. As is common with many large breeds, he does have arthritis. Captain is house-trained and sleeps through the night without needing to go outside. Captain's energy level has increased with the nutrition and care he has been receiving since being adopted. He now enjoys going for 20 minute walks around the neighborhood in the morning and evening. Captain also likes playing fetch. To learn more about Captain, please contact Maria at mariafree@rocketmail.com or 909-465-3600. *Frosted Faces Foundation has not assessed this dog medically or behaviorally.*

Story
Totem came from a Craigslist ad in Temecula California. He just turned 2 years the first week of March 2024 and he's 68 lbs/perfect health. He's been well cared for in a loving home since he was 8 weeks old. We moved from a 2.5 acre horse ranch to a normal sized backyard. Totem isn’t getting the exercise and attention that he used to. He's a super sweet boy, loves to cuddle, enjoys chew toys, loves to play with balls but refuses to return the ball. Totem does well being boarded and at the dog park, although he can be timid at first or bark if another dog is aggressive towards him. He's lived with other dogs, cats and kids. He does like to jump up on you for attention but he knows redirect commands. Challenges: Totem will bark in his yard if he hears intruders; but he's easily redirected with finger snaps. He will pee when scared or excited sometimes. Ideal Home: Active family, ideally with pets
