Story
Chowder is a super cute Great Dane Aussie mix born on May 3rd. He is smart and loves to play and run. Chowder loves to try to get someone to chase him and he jumps in to steal the other puppies’ toys whenever he can. Chowder and his family have been in a foster home since they were a few days old. They were well socialized with people and dogs from the beginning. He is a happy boy who is crate trained and knows a few basic commands. Chowder is also a bit on the sensitive side so would do well in a quieter home without daily chaos (he is more of a stay at home movie guy instead of a college frat party kind of guy). He takes it to heart when told 'no' so he is easy to redirect and is a fast learner. This is a smart puppy who seems to have inherited the best traits of his parents. His mom is a purebred black Australian Shepherd and dad a Great Dane . He will need an active owner who will train him and take him hiking in the mountains or swimming at Dog Beach. Even though Chowder is one of the calmer puppies in his family he will be an active boy who will need plenty of exercise - both mental and physical. , he is an Australian Shep and he will require a home that is knowledgeable of this breed and have no kids under 16th years old, because he is a puppy he need at least a person that works from home or is retired. Need to have a home with a yard. Call Stacy at 6198045300 and go to www.k9connectionpetadoption.org to fill out the adoption application SAN DIEGO COUNTY ONLY, NO APARTMENTS , NEED A HOME WITH A YARD, NEED TO BE RETIRED OR WORKING FROM HOME, THIS BREED EXPERIENCED ONLY

Story
Oden is a wonderful and growing Great Dane puppy. He spent the first five months of his life on a 5 to 6 foot chain. So when he arrived at the shelter, he did not have a lot of manners. But he is sweet as all get out. He is loving, playful, and just wonderful! **** Please read adoption information carefully!!!**** Odin is a stunningly handsome little boy -male, 7 months -supposedly pure-bread, -Neutered -Current Weight : 90 lbs, will grow -Crate trained -Potty trained Odin is a big, funny bundle of joy, energy, and affection. He is just a big goofball! Odin is still a puppy, and will continue to grow. He is on the bigger side, but has an abundance of affection and cuteness! Odin is a well-adjusted puppy who has been hand raised. He has never shown any signs of aggression of any kind, including food aggression, although he can occasionally be a little rambunctious. He really thinks that he is a little dog…. ? Odin wants to be a lapdog; he can’t quite figure out why he doesn’t fit in my lap, but he settles for putting his head in my lap, since the rest of him doesn’t fit 😜 Odin is used to playing and sleeping with the other dogs on the property. He is well socialized, both with humans and dogs. While I have never seen him interact with a cat, I have no reason to anticipate a problem. ************************************ ADOPTION INFORMATION ************************************ I only adopt LOCALLY; San Diego and immediate vicinity. Story
Meet Shadow Girl. Shadow was not given the best life at first. She was relinquished to us with parvo, sick and not in good shape. But she beat Parvo! She has no side effects of the virus and has fully recovered. She is a curious and an adventurous young Great Dane mix pup around 8 months old. She would love to be in a home with older kids (8+ as she will be big when fully grown) and definitely another dog to play with. She loves the yard and dog parks. She can’t wait to find her forever home. Interested in adopting this pet? Please contact us at questions@awishforanimals.org for more info.September 24, 2023, 11:40 pm
