Story
Meet Gunner, a handsome 3-year old boy. We adopted him back in October but have had a major life change that requires us to find this good-boy a new home. His original dad was a US Marine, hence his name. He is extremely friendly and likes to meet everybody. With other dogs, he is submissive and docile, no dog to dog issues. He came to us well trained and is very smart. We have continued his training, focused on walking without pulling, etc. Overall a well behaved, highly friendly and affectionate big-dog. Gunner is high energy. . . followed by crashing contentedly on the couch. He is very affectionate and will be loyal. He does have some separation anxiety when left all alone. His previous owner had a second dog so they did not see that issue. Being a strapping 125lb male, he needs an owner who understands and loves Great Danes.

Oden is a wonderful and growing Great Dane puppy. He spent the first five months of his life on a 5 to 6 foot chain. So when he arrived at the shelter, he did not have a lot of manners. But he is sweet as all get out. He is loving, playful, and just wonderful!

Story
Apollo is approximately 1.5 years, around 85 pounds, neutered, fully vaccinated Great Dane/Visla mix breed. He is crate trained and good with potty & leash training~ soon he will be a pro of all three!! He is affectionate, but can be a bit nervous when first met with unexpected changes. Apollo gets along well with most dogs (but we suggest he be paired with a female companion), adults and older children alike. Given his adaptability, he should be able to learn your family’s routine rather quickly and become part of the gang in no time!!! Apollo was discovered in the Tecate neighborhoods. When found He was skinny and suffered from ehrlichiosis and anaplasmosis. Fortunately, he is now healthy & flourishing under the loving care of a foster. (June 2025) Apollo has a lot of love to give and longs for a family who can provide him patience, affection and attention he craves. He deserves a warm and loving home where he can feel cherished as a member of the family!!!

Story
2 years ago, Vincent got sick and I took him to the Vet in MX some of the medication he was prescribed end up causing blindness. He is an amazing dog. I have no complaints about him whatsoever. He’s been with me for about two years and he is very lovey with other animals and people now that he’s blind I feel he needs more attention that I can actually give him and would love to give him a second chance, even though it breaks my heart

Balgruuf is a gentle giant, thoughtful boy who starts off a bit reserved but truly blossoms once he feels comfortable. He enjoys treats, knows how to sit, and walks nicely on leash with just a little enthusiasm. Balgruuf loves calm affection, especially back scratches, and once he trusts you, he’ll happily lean in close for cuddles. He did well meeting another dog and relaxed nicely with time. Balgruuf would thrive in a patient, loving home ready to let his sweet personality shine.
