Story
Your Gentle Giant Looking for Love! Hello there, I'm Hippo, a 5-year-old Bull Mastiff mix, a big boy at 87 lbs, and neutered. I was pulled from the Riverside shelter by TAP and I am so grateful for that! I have picked up bathroom manners, working on leash manners. I have separation  anxiety and current medications to help with separation anxiety include Trazodone (~$7.00), Gabapentin (~$13.00), Acepromazine as needed (~$25.00), and Prozac (~$5.00). Monthly cost depending on where purchased and market value.  I may look imposing at first glance, but once you get to know me, you'll see I'm the sweetest and most loveable companion you could ever ask for. I love affection, and snuggling up next to my humans is one of my favorite pastimes. I'm generally friendly with other dogs, but I might need a slow introduction to make sure we're all on the same page. When I'm inside the house, I sometimes get a bit anxious and bark at people passing by, but don't worry – once we're outside, I'll mostly be an observer, calmly taking in the world around me. I can show some leash reactivity though. With some patience, understanding, and positive reinforcement training, I'm sure I can overcome this behavior. I adore outdoor adventures and walks, but I can get a little distracted if there's too much going on around me. I find night walks with minimal distractions to be the best for me. That way, I can focus on our quality time together without getting overwhelmed by everything happening around us. One of my quirks is that I like to playfully bite ankles and wrists when I want to wake you up or just engage in some playtime. I promise it's all in good fun! But for this reason, a family with older kids or adults might be a better fit for me. I would absolutely love a fun-loving home with a yard! Having a safe and secure place to play and explore would make me one happy pup! I'm quite adaptable, so whether you lead an active lifestyle or prefer a more laid-back approach, I'll fit right in. Just as long as I get plenty of love and attention, I'll be content. So, are you ready to open your heart and home to a gentle giant like me? I guarantee that with a little understanding, patience, and love, I'll be the most loyal and loving companion you could ever wish for. Let's embark on this incredible journey together, creating unforgettable memories and forging an unbreakable bond. ##1733826##

Story
Meet Beethoven. This young boy is an almost 2 year old puppy, affectionate, effusive, and sometimes a little goofy, but he is a dog that has a lot of love to give, he has been spoiled and loved from the moment he was found, and he is looking for a home where he will be given the same love. He plays with cats and dogs and gets along well with children and adults. At first he may be a little shy, but he adapts very quickly. He loves walks, treats and chew toys. He knows basic commands and is very easy to be training, he is food-motivated. He will be happy to see you before a workday and play a little with you. He licks like a turtle to give you affection and will hug you with his front legs. The $350.00 adoption fee covers the following: Transport to San Diego, CA. Spay/Neuter. All vaccines up to date. Deworming (puppies 2 sets). Flea medication up to date. Tick control up to date. Microchip. Microchip registration to new owner paid for. Collar. Temporary leash. Story
This adorable puppy is looking for a new home after we recently rescued him from a kill shelter. Sadly, we were unaware of our landlord, only allowed one dog, and we do not want to return him to that shelter and would rather see him adopted. He appears to be an Anatolian Shepherd however we have not had a genetic test to confirm this (he does appear to be a mix). He has not been spayed yet as our veterinarian requested we wait until he was nine months old. He comes with a crate and several toys and there's no adoption fee. We just do not want to see him returned to a shelter. He has had all his veterinarian appointments and his immunizations. He is very well behaved and already house trained.
