Story
Great Dane 2 years old Female 104 pounds Kids · 10+ Dogs · Yes Cats · No In 2006 a 38.12 carat cabochon-cut ruby sold for $5,860,000. Well…I’m a 104-pound Ruby, that’s a whole lotta carats! And I’ll give you a deal! How about a $200 adoption fee and a promise of forever love and devotion? Did I mention that I’m affectionate, loyal, people focused, and totally adorable? Did I mention that I am about 2 years old, housebroken, eager to please and everything a Great Dane lover could ask for? Ya, I’m a real gem and I know it! I do need a home without cats or small animals, but I won’t mind a well-matched canine friend who will respect me as queen—I expect to be treated like royalty, you know! Children 10+ who know how to treat me gently but are also sturdy will suit me best, and I am looking for a person who can keep me on a special diet and give me the supplements I need for my bladder condition. So how ’bout it? Sold!!! My adoption fee is $200 and includes spay, microchip & registration, reduced-cost training class, free veterinary exam,1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & treat packet.

Story
Great Dane Mix 18 months old Male 80 pounds Kids · 7+ Dogs · Yes Cats · No I’m Cosmo—an outta-this-world dude looking for a patient family, plenty of snacks, and a soft bed to sleep in at night. I am just a boy at heart—I may be a year and a half, but there is a lot of puppy left in me! I am wonderfully crate trained and know a couple basic commands, but I’m still learning all there is to know about this great big world. I really am eager to love, and I am sweet as can, but even a big boy like me gets scared sometimes! So I’ll need a family with sturdy and respectful children 7 +! I love other doggies, but cats and I just don’t get along. I would love very much to go home with a nice family who will take the time to really love me, play with me, and teach me all I need to know. Is that too much to ask? Boy, I hope not—there’s a whole universe of possibilities, and I just can’t wait to explore them with you! My adoption fee is $260 and includes neuter, microchip & registration, reduced-cost training class, free veterinary exam, leash/collar, toy & treat packet, food sample.

Story
We adopted Pepper December of 2021 from a lady who had a litter and Pepper was the last pup to go. She is almost 3 years old. She loves attention and needs to be able to run around and get her energy out. She is a very sweet girl, loves to be around people, and sleeps a lot. She does get the zoomies and very excited when we come home and especially when she’s about to eat her meals. Pepper’s new home needs to be very loving, her parents need to be present so she doesn’t get lonely, and she does need to be able to get her energy out either with a walk or running around in a backyard or field. Pepper is great with kiddos and is very gentle with them.

Story
Douglas is a sweet 2 yr old Great Dane mix looking for a very special home. His owner had to move cross country due to an emergency, and he is in the care of a friend who loves him but cannot keep him due to his size and his needs. It’s important to note that he has previously exhibited reactive behaviors towards other dogs or people, so he needs a home that is willing to work with him. Currently he is improving! He is goofy, sweet, intelligent, cuddly and energetic. He smart & can be prone to boredom behaviors, so he would do well with lots of activity. He can be a great hiking companion but is also content to nap beside you; he needs intellectual stimulation like puzzles and tasks more than he needs to get tired out with walks. His perfect owner would be an experienced owner of large breed & reactive dogs, who has a lot of time & patience to dedicate to him, ideally home a lot Maybe you have land where he can run. He should be the only dog, at least for now. No kids please.

Story
It breaks my heart but my partner and I need to rehome our 4yo great dane, Sophie. We adopted her from the Humane Society as a stray. We believe she was abused and bred for multiple litters. Sophie is the sweetest dog and the ultimate snuggler! She loves being around her people more than anything (including kids)! She enjoys playing with other dogs, although she may do best in a home with no other pets. She is definitely a couch/bed dog and has some major snuggle needs! Sophie needs a home with at least one person in the house most of the day due to her separation anxiety. She is mostly well-behaved when someone is home with her, but tends to have accidents and gets into the garbage when left unattended for long. Soph likely needs a home with a yard. She does not do well in a crate and needs someone who can train her properly. Again, it breaks our hearts to rehome her and we would like her to go to someone who would be willing to let us (and maybe our other dog) visit occasionally!

Story
**Fostered in Seattle, WA, and ready for meet & greets!** 🐾 Meet Romeo! 🐾 Hello there! My name is Romeo the Great, and I'm ready to sweep you off your feet with my gentlemanly charm and goofy antics! I'm a big-hearted giant, but don't let my size fool you—I'm as gentle as they come. Let me share a bit about myself. First, I'm a social chap who loves human and animal companions. Whether it's dogs of any size or respectful kitties, I play well with everyone and thrive on friendship. Car rides are my favorite pastime, although I like having a whole row to myself to stretch out and relax. One of my favorite activities is frolicking off-leash at the beach and romping around with my puppy foster brother. Despite my senior status, I still have a playful spirit. I'm also crate and house-trained, and I have excellent leash manners, making me a dream to have around. I'm looking for a forever home with a big, comfy bed to call my own. I promise to fill your home with love, laughter, and companionship. Are you ready to add a big bundle of love to your life? Meet me, Romeo, and let's start our beautiful journey together! 🐾❤️ Application link:https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/65a84e24063d1c70780b4c90 Please email cynthia@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $62 surcharge for transport.
