Story
529 days without a forever home. 529 days ago Razoo came into the shelter as a stray and he’s been looking for his place in this world ever since. He survived the streets. He survived the euthanasia list. He survived heartworm treatment. He’s learned what it’s like to live inside a home and that there are good humans out there who won’t hurt him. Now he just needs HIS human to find him🖤. ————————————————————— Razoo is 3 years old, 80 pounds, neutered, fully-vaccinated, microchipped, house-trained, crate-trained, and been treated for heartworms. He has done well with the other dogs in his foster home and loves his person (he will show you how much he loves you by wrapping his long arms around your entire body). When he came into the shelter he was terrified of being leashed. His foster has been dedicated to his training and desensitizing him to collars, leashes, etc. He has made leaps and bounds in his progress and he happily wore a bow tie for his photo shoot and gladly accepted head scratches from the photographer. He is adored by his foster and by everyone who meets him. He’s the epitome of rescue rehabilitation and deserves his happy ending! Please share to help Razoo find his forever home! Story
Watson is a full bred AKC registered Great Dane. He is nearly three, his welp date is 1-11-21. Watson has been raised with 4 children, a cat and a bearded dragon. He is not bad with children; he just isn't ideal with younger children. He is a very very anxious dog. He has been known to break out of multiple kennels. He often jumps our 8 foot fence. He will, during a thunderstorm, attempt to squeeze himself under our bed. He has been treated for his anxiety with trazadone, this did not work. We tried Acepromazine as well- he was allergic-his whole face swelled up; when given Benadryl he became destructive and more anxious. We have tried puzzles, CBD oil and treats, more activity etc. He is very difficult to redirect when outside; he doesn't follow any command unless he is inside. We have had many incidents of him pulling kids off of swings, four wheelers, tree house ladders etc. It never appears he is being aggressive but almost like he thinks he is saving them. He needs a calm place.

Story
Meet Artemis and Athena! The inseparable bonded pair of 3 year old Great Danes seeking a loving home filled with endless affection. These gentle giants may not realize their own size but make up for it with their overwhelming love for attention. They adore both indoor and outdoor play, especially in a spacious yard that allows them to stretch their legs and run freely. Their favorite pastime is engaging in playful bouts with each other, often seen tugging at toys during their friendly wrestling matches.Athena, the more reserved of the two, can sometimes appear shy or fearful. However, with a patient and nurturing environment, her confidence will blossom, and her gentle nature will shine through. On the other hand, Artemis possesses a vibrant personality and approaches every stranger with an open heart, effortlessly spreading joy wherever she goes. Together, they create a perfect balance, complementing each other's personalities. While they get along with other dogs, Athena and Artemis may thrive best if they are the only two four-legged companions in the household. They have exhibited food aggression at times, but with proper training and management, this behavior can be addressed. These intelligent canines are quick learners and have already mastered house training and crate training. However, they have yet to experience the joy of daily walks, as their current home provides ample space for exercise and play.Athena and Artemis are seeking a forever home that can offer them the undivided attention and care they deserve. They have a preference for older children and may not be suitable for households with younger kids. Rest assured, this delightful duo will bring immeasurable love and warmth to their new family, given the chance to thrive in a secure and nurturing environment. If you are ready to welcome these beautiful, loving dogs into your life, provide them with the affectionate home and attention they crave. Let Athena and Artemis be the cherished companions that fill your days with laughter, joy, and endless love.To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt It doesn't obligate you, but it is the first step.
