Story
Location: Vernon,TX (adoptable within 2-3 hours of Dallas/Fort Worth) DOB: 7/15/2024 Meet Atlas — your future shadow, cuddle buddy, and adventure partner all rolled into one handsome package! At just 2 years old, Atlas is the perfect mix of playful energy and snuggly couch potato. Want to spend the day binge-watching TV? Atlas is ready to curl up beside you. Looking for a buddy to run around and have fun with? He’s absolutely game for that too. His motto is basically: “Whatever you’re doing, I want to do it with you!” Atlas is a true VELCRO dog who loves being close to his people and soaking up all the attention he can get. He’s a happy, affectionate boy who aims to please and thrives on companionship. He gets along great with his foster siblings and enjoys being part of the pack. He’s met some kids and thinks they’re pretty great — especially because they tend to drop snacks and leave tasty crumbs behind! Atlas has lived with cats and considers them his friends. Like any young dog, Atlas is still polishing a few skills. He’s working on his leash manners and learning that countertops are not self-serve buffets. But with consistency, patience, and a few treats, this eager-to-learn boy will continue to blossom. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will love you with his whole heart and happily stick by your side through every part of life, Atlas may just be your perfect match. https://forms.gle/G2dJx2NV4JXZcZ9F6

Story
Location: Terrell, TX (adopter must live within 2–3 hours of Dallas/Fort Worth) Estimated DOB: 1/20/2017 Meet Cassie — a classic Velcro Dane with a snaggle-tooth smile. Cassie is the definition of a heart dog. She carries herself like a dignified senior… right up until the zoomies hit. This sweet girl still loves to explore, trot around the yard, and play in short bursts — then she’s perfectly content to lounge wherever the couch is softest (her hips appreciate the cushion, and she is on medication for comfort). She’s pure Great Dane affection: full-body leans, soulful eyes, and enthusiastic, slobbery kisses. Personal space? Not her thing. If you sit down, she assumes it’s cuddle time. Her foster lovingly calls her a “Velcro perma-puppy,” and Dane lovers will recognize that devotion immediately. Cassie has never met a stranger and happily accepts attention from anyone willing to give it. She prefers companionship and can feel a little anxious when separated by a kennel or gate, but she settles well with a Kong or long-lasting chew. She is dog-friendly with both large and small, young and old dogs. Her best friend is an 8 year old Dane and they get along great! Like many Danes, she’s a bit of a goofy, gentle player who doesn’t always realize her size — watching her joyful, slightly clumsy run is pure happiness. Cassie came from a difficult situation but remains incredibly loving, trusting, and resilient. She’s looking for a Dane-savvy home that understands the magic of a senior: lower energy, deeper bonds, and a heart that just wants to be near you. If you have a soft spot for silver-muzzled Danes, a comfy place beside you, and room in your heart for a loyal shadow, Cassie is ready to be your girl. https://forms.gle/G2dJx2NV4JXZcZ9F6

Story
529 days without a forever home. 529 days ago Razoo came into the shelter as a stray and he’s been looking for his place in this world ever since. He survived the streets. He survived the euthanasia list. He survived heartworm treatment. He’s learned what it’s like to live inside a home and that there are good humans out there who won’t hurt him. Now he just needs HIS human to find him🖤. ————————————————————— Razoo is 3 years old, 80 pounds, neutered, fully-vaccinated, microchipped, house-trained, crate-trained, and been treated for heartworms. He has done well with the other dogs in his foster home and loves his person (he will show you how much he loves you by wrapping his long arms around your entire body). When he came into the shelter he was terrified of being leashed. His foster has been dedicated to his training and desensitizing him to collars, leashes, etc. He has made leaps and bounds in his progress and he happily wore a bow tie for his photo shoot and gladly accepted head scratches from the photographer. He is adored by his foster and by everyone who meets him. He’s the epitome of rescue rehabilitation and deserves his happy ending! Please share to help Razoo find his forever home! Story
Meet Jesse!Jesse is 6 years young and may be a little shy at first, but this sweet girl is truly a big softy at heart. Once she warms up, her gentle and loving nature shines through, and she forms a quiet, loyal bond with her people. Her previous owner shared that Jesse was an indoor dog, is housetrained, and already knows a few commands in both Spanish and English - what a smart girl! She loves going on walks and walks beautifully on a leash, staying calm and composed even when other dogs are barking. Jesse prefers a peaceful stroll right by your side. She has been around other dogs and may do well with a canine companion, though she would love to meet your dog first before heading home. Jesse has made it clear that she’s not a fan of those scary cats.Jesse was surrendered through no fault of her own, simply because her owner could no longer afford to care for a pet. With a little patience and kindness, she will blossom into a devoted, affectionate companion. If you’re looking for a quiet, loving best friend, Jesse may be the perfect match for you.
