Story
Krackers is the most loving dog I’ve ever met. He’s never met a dog he didn’t like, he doesn’t bark at other dogs- unless you’re a terrier terrorizing him on the other side of the fence. Krackers doesn’t know he’s a gentle giant he believes he’s a little purring kitten. Krackers just wants to be loved and walked. He’s a good boy. He deserves to run in streams and sprint through open fields. And be with a loving family that can walk him anytime and take him on adventures.

Story
In a house (not a mouse), lived a boy quite immense, with a heart made of gold and a brain with good sense! He’s Zeus, the Great Dane, with a coat sleek and fine, and at eight years of age, he is doing just fine. He doesn’t bark loudly, he doesn’t cause strife, he just wants to join in your wonderful life! He has a small brother, a Dane named Aries. They’re a pair of big fellows (though nobody’s scary). What Can Zeus Do? Oh, the things he can do! If you give him a look, he’s smarter than any old dog in a book. He can SIT! (Yes, he can, on a rug or a floor!) He can WAIT! (While you open the big wooden door.) He’s GENTLE! (As soft as a breeze through the trees.) He’s QUIET! (He aims-to-please, if you please!) Do you work at a desk? Do you sit in a chair? Do you wish that a giant friend might just be there? Well, Zeus has a trick that is better than most, he’s better than coffee! He’s better than toast! He’ll trot to your side with a step light and nimble, and rest his big head… not the size of a thimble! Right there on your desk, on your papers and pens, to show you he’s truly the best of all friends. Could He Be Yours? He’s looking for love! He’s looking for home! A place where a giant has plenty of room to roam. He’s a lean, lounging legend! A grand, greying guy! With a wag of his tail and a spark in his eye. So if you have space for a dog of this size, With kindness and wisdom right there in his eyes, Come meet Mr. Zeus! He’s a wonderful soul, and loving you is his only goal.

Artemis was rescued from a small local Texas shelter, he was found as a stray. He is working on gaining weight. He is a sweet great dane, he is very large. He is good with other dogs and kids. He is nervous when he first meets someone new but warms up quicky. He is very easy to walk on a leash. He has now been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and had a Gastropexy.

Story
While Zeus, his brother Dane, is a dreamer who’s calm and sedate, young Aries arrives at a much faster rate! Named for the God of the Bold and the Bright, he bursts through the door like a streak of pure light. At two years of age, he’s a whirlwind of glee, the most playful Great Dane that you ever did see! He doesn’t wear sweaters! He doesn’t wear coats! (Though he’d look quite dapper on bicycles or boats.) His fur is a wonder, a Merle-colored dream, with splashes and splotches and grey-silver gleam! He’s a masterpiece pup from his nose to his toes, and he sparkles and shines everywhere that he goes. If you’re typing a memo or filing a stack, he’ll nudge at your elbow and want a quick snack. He’s energetic! He’s bold! He’s a firework friend! With a spirit for playing that never will end. He has wiggles and giggles and energy to spend, he needs daily adventures that never quite end! A family committed to zoomies and “Stay,” to help this young firecracker find the right way. Like the ram in the stars, he is ready to lead, to a life full of snacks and the playtime he’ll need! He’s looking for humans… a family… a crew, to love him forever. Could that be with you?

Story
Meet Boone – A Gentle Soul Ready for a Fresh Start Boone is a striking Great Dane and Black Mouth Cur mix at 65 pounds with soulful eyes and a quiet, thoughtful demeanor. Rescued after being abandoned on the roadside, Boone's past suggests he was used as a hunting dog and likely spent much of his life confined to a kennel. This history has left him shy and cautious at first, but with time, patience, and kindness, Boone reveals his deeply affectionate side. Once he begins to trust, Boone becomes a devoted companion who craves gentle affection and enjoys peaceful moments with his person. He thrives in a calm environment and takes comfort in the presence of other dogs—he gets along wonderfully with canine companions and would benefit from a home with another friendly dog to help boost his confidence. Currently being fostered in Seguin, TX, Boone is looking for a foster or forever home in Central Texas only. He needs a loving, understanding family who can help him continue to blossom at his own pace. His ideal adopter would be someone familiar with hounds or someone who appreciates the gentle, loyal nature of these incredible breeds. If you're a hound enthusiast or simply someone with a kind heart and a quiet home, Boone may be the perfect match for you. He’s not just looking for a home—he’s looking for someone who sees his potential and will offer the love and patience he’s never known before. Boone is ready to start again.
