Story
Meet Prairie! This adorable Great Pyrenees (with a bit of Golden Retriever in her) is a gentle soul and affectionate cuddler who is truly coming into her own after decompressing in a loving foster home. She’s quickly acclimated to being a super sweet, loving and gentle companion and is now ready for her loving forever home. Her foster mom has given us a list of all her highlights, which include: - Prairie is an easy girl, she's fully house-trained, she loves to be around you yet is just as happy doing her own thing - whether out in the yard or just sleeping nearby. - She is fantastic with dogs of all sizes. She especially loves the dog park, where she picks out certain dogs to run and play with. She does not play aggressively; rather, she just loves to either chase or be chased. - Prairie is an athletic, outdoorsy girl who would thrive in an active family. She loves walks and hikes, but she’s just as happy to go around the block a few times and/or just play gently with her people in the back yard. 95% of the time, she’s a star on a leash (harness is better for long walks). Bonus: She doesn't have much prey drive! She notices other animals (deer, turkeys, squirrels or cats) but doesn't engage or chase. - Bonus: No BARK! Despite being a GP, Prairie doesn’t have the typical guard dog temperament and rarely makes a peep, except to quietly whine a bit if she wants to go out. Prairie is still a bit shy with new adults and kids, but once she knows you're safe, she's all in for pets and love! Because of this, we feel a home with calm, older kids, or no kids, will be better for her to settle in. Prairie thrives with calm guidance, lots of cuddles and kind reassurance. Once she feels safe, she is affection-motivated and enjoys quiet companionship, walks, play, and gentle love. She will need a patient, compassionate forever home who understands that trust takes time. As a Great Pyrenees, she would do best in a home with a yard where she can stretch her legs, explore, and enjoy peaceful outdoor time. Apply today to meet this sweet lady, she's ready to settle into a loving home, could it be yours?

Story
Gracie is a love... a BIG love! Though she is 66 pounds and should be at least 70, so she is not a huge Pyr at all. She sports a fairly manageable single coat with some undercoat but not a ton of extra fur like a big, classic Pyr, likely she could be a mix. Gracie had entropia surgery on one eye and that is mostly all healed up. She walks well on leash and is dog friendly, but can guard her food a bit with humans perhaps a bit and dogs, she was very thin, and needs a "Bottomless bowl for awhile which should help her with food anxiety, but this is why we have added the kids over 10 years attribute. Gracie is a very lovely girl deserving of a home with people to love, who understand Pyrs, and other critters too.....

Story
A gorgeous, easy going and friendly Guardian Breed gal. Tail wagging, cooperative, social with people and dogs.... she walks pretty darn well on leash, yet should still have someone fairly strong walking her in case a sudden noise scares her - but she is a fairly grounded girl, she doesn't jump up, and wants to please and make new friends - both 2 and 4-legged, particularly dogs smaller than she is She can also be on the independent side which is fairly typical for a Guardian breed. She is a gem.

Story
Beautiful Pyrenees girl! Each sister is uniquely colored, and all have outgoing personalities, loving people and other canines... Eager to be loved, and to learn all about life as a beloved Guardian, of the family, the homes, the world around them! Guardian Breeds are a big package in more ways than one! Big fur, big size, willful natures....and hugely awesome in so many ways! But, please, study your breeds and the needs and habits of a Guardian. They like space, are pretty mellow, but can jump into action to protect their pack/their flock/their home. Their coats are thick and need good brushings to help avoid matting. Early training on leash and obedience goes far.
