Story
Gracie is a love... a BIG love! Though she is 66 pounds and should be at least 70, so she is not a huge Pyr at all. She sports a fairly manageable single coat with some undercoat but not a ton of extra fur like a big, classic Pyr, likely she could be a mix. Gracie had entropia surgery on one eye and that is mostly all healed up. She walks well on leash and is dog friendly, but can guard her food a bit with humans perhaps a bit and dogs, she was very thin, and needs a "Bottomless bowl for awhile which should help her with food anxiety, but this is why we have added the kids over 10 years attribute. Gracie is a very lovely girl deserving of a home with people to love, who understand Pyrs, and other critters too.....

Story
Meet Prairie! This adorable Great Pyrenees (with a bit of Golden Retriever in her) is a gentle soul and affectionate cuddler who is truly coming into her own after decompressing in a loving foster home. She’s quickly acclimated to being a super sweet, loving and gentle companion and is now ready for her loving forever home. Her foster mom has given us a list of all her highlights, which include: - Prairie is an easy girl, she's fully house-trained, she loves to be around you yet is just as happy doing her own thing - whether out in the yard or just sleeping nearby. - She is fantastic with dogs of all sizes. She especially loves the dog park, where she picks out certain dogs to run and play with. She does not play aggressively; rather, she just loves to either chase or be chased. - Prairie is an athletic, outdoorsy girl who would thrive in an active family. She loves walks and hikes, but she’s just as happy to go around the block a few times and/or just play gently with her people in the back yard. 95% of the time, she’s a star on a leash (harness is better for long walks). Bonus: She doesn't have much prey drive! She notices other animals (deer, turkeys, squirrels or cats) but doesn't engage or chase. - Bonus: No BARK! Despite being a GP, Prairie doesn’t have the typical guard dog temperament and rarely makes a peep, except to quietly whine a bit if she wants to go out. Prairie is still a bit shy with new adults and kids, but once she knows you're safe, she's all in for pets and love! Because of this, we feel a home with calm, older kids, or no kids, will be better for her to settle in. Prairie thrives with calm guidance, lots of cuddles and kind reassurance. Once she feels safe, she is affection-motivated and enjoys quiet companionship, walks, play, and gentle love. She will need a patient, compassionate forever home who understands that trust takes time. As a Great Pyrenees, she would do best in a home with a yard where she can stretch her legs, explore, and enjoy peaceful outdoor time. Apply today to meet this sweet lady, she's ready to settle into a loving home, could it be yours?

Story
Meet our sweet 2-month-old Great Pyrenees puppies! These fluffy little cloud pups are already showing the gentle, steady nature their breed is known for. Even at this young age, they're calm, observant, and incredibly affectionate-true little guardians in training. About the Breed: Great Pyrenees are famous for their loyal, patient, and protective temperament. Originally bred to watch over flocks, they have a natural instinct to look after their family, both human and animal. They typically grow into large, majestic dogs with a soft, plush coat and a calm, confident presence. What to Expect as They Grow: • Gentle Temperament: Known for being loving, tolerant, and great with kids. • Protective Instincts: They make devoted family 'guardians -watchful but not aggressive. •Independent Thinkers: Smart and capable, but sometimes stubborn; positive, consistent training works best. • Moderate Energy: Playful as pups, then mellow into peaceful companions who enjoy outdoor time. • Big Dogs, Big Hearts: Adults often reach 80-120+ pounds, so adopters should be prepared for a large breed with a big personality. These little ones are at the perfect age to begin soni lizing, and learning the basics. With patience, to grow, they'll become the kind of dogs ot only beautiful to look at, but wonderful to live with If you're read for a gentle giant in the making, these pups may be the perfect match!
