River was adopted from a shelter at 4 months old and was trained as a service dog. She's washing from service work because she's happier as a pet. She's fiercely loyal to her person and can be overprotective. She's sweet, loves to cuddle. Selective about what other dogs/cats she likes. River would be perfect for someone who loves to go biking. River has been trained to run alongside of a bike, even has direction cues! She's an excellent dog, just has some personality quirks and has chosen to opt out of service work. We love River so much and want to do best by her, we are sure the perfect person is out there.

King has put on a few pounds in his golden years but his foster family has been working on getting him fit as a fiddle! King joined POMDR when his senior guardian became ill and was no longer able to care for him.
