If you think Snow would make wonderful addition to your family, please come by and meet her! Please read the animal bios completely before requesting additional information as we do our best to answer the most frequently ask questions in these bios. In order to adopt one of our animals an application must be submitted and approved. You can find these applications by going to http://humanemorgan.org/index.php?page=adoption ABOUT ADOPTING FROM THE HSMC: The shelter address is 1170 Fairground Rd. Madison, GA 30650. For more information on any of our pets, please feel free to email us at INFO@HUMANEMORGAN.ORG give us a call at 706-343-9977. All dogs are heartworm negative, current on vaccines/dewormings, and microchipped. All cats are FeLv/FIV negative, current on vaccines/dewormings, and microchipped. We are open 10am-5pm Monday-Saturday, we schedule our last adoption at 4pm everyday to allow our staff enough time to feed and walk dogs. We are an animal shelter and therefore are not able to individually potty train our residents. Many adult dogs do arrive “house broken” however due to animal behavior any change in environment will make an emotional impact on the animals and therefore initiate unwanted behaviors during the acclamation period. Please keep this in mind. Puppies do not have the biological maturity to maintain absolute bladder or bowel control and will require a certain degree of potty training and house breaking. Please consider the time and commitment it takes to provide the necessary building blocks for these special babies, prior to submitting your application. If you have any questions please email us at info@humanemorgan.org and provide name of the animal you are interested in, in the subject line. Thank you, HSMC Staff ADOPTION FEES Adoption Fees may change without notice. Story
Hi, it's Bowser here! I am a young great pyrenees pup! I was an owner surrender due to no fault of my own. I love people and dogs alike, but I need space to run my energy out. I will do best in a home with a large, fenced in yard, or even better, a large, enclosed farm to run on. I have an impressive bark, it's part of my DNA, so don't expect me to be quiet if I hear something in the middle of the night, it's my job to alert! Please come meet me and see my sweet disposition in person!

Story
Updated shots: June 15, 2024. He is more socialized. GIacier was adopted fromanimal shelter on July 3, 2023. I got to keep my other dog company. My son picked out a big dog, but it worked. The dogs get along, last picture. When we first got him, he was very friendly to others. Company would cone over and pet him and we would take him to the farmers market where kids and others would come pet him. Because of our busy scedhule during the school year, I or the kids have not had time to take him out or socialize. Now that i am able to take him for walks he barks at people. He is very protective. While walking a man was too close to me and Glacier scratched him. As i said very protective. But at home, he plays ball with my other dog in the house or back yard, runs around but pretty much lays around and watches tv next to me. He is a great dog, but I dont have time to give him the attention he needs and he is very big. He does shed but that can be minimized with brishing 2-3 times a week.
