Story
Meet Polly Pockets, the furry ball of energy who will melt your heart and fill your life with joy! Polly is a 2-3-year-old pup who is looking for her forever home. She's a big girl, weighing in at 60 pounds, but don't let her size fool you - she's basically a big puppy at heart! Polly is a bundle of fun and loves nothing more than playing with other dogs and people. Her playful antics are sure to keep you entertained all day long! Her funny personality will have you in stitches as she bounces around with endless enthusiasm. But, like any young pup, she needs to learn some manners, so she would benefit from some training to help her channel her energy and excitement. This smart girl is very food motivated and loves learning new things. With some guidance and training, she'll be the star of any obedience class! She's already crate trained, so you won't have to worry about that. But be warned - she's so lovable, you might find it hard to say no to those puppy dog eyes! Polly loves walks and car rides, so you'll have a blast exploring the great outdoors together. With her by your side, every day is an adventure waiting to happen. So, if you're looking for a loving, playful, and high-energy companion, look no further than Polly Pockets!  An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online.  http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms     Please be sure to like our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org    Note:   Some apartments and neighborhoods  have breed restrictions. Story
Evie is a 2 year old dog I rescued as a puppy. She’s very smart, highly trainable and house-trained. She likes to chase balls, retrieve sticks and cuddle on the couch. Unfortunately, I’m at a time in my life where I’m not able to guarantee her needs anymore. She is a very large dog and needs a firm, experienced handler. I will not let her go unless I know she finds the right fit for to have a happy upbringing.

Story
Tig is super intelligent and sweet. She is affectionate and loves to cuddle and play with her hoomans. She even 'talks' to them using speech buttons!  Tig also knows commands like Sit, Down, and Paw. She needs some practice with leash walking, as she's used to having a quiet, fenced yard to exercise in. But, as you can tell, she's smart and staying with trainers, willing to show you and Tig the path to success.  Unfortunately, Tig's family is in the process of moving to NYC and finding it nearly impossible to find a rental willing to accept two large dogs. So, we hope Tig will soon find a new home with someone as special as she is.  Age: 4 years Weight: 85 lbs  Temperament: Good people and dogs after proper introduction; not good with cats Vetting: Spayed, up to date on vaccines, HW negative and on prevention Training: House/crate trained, knows commands, uses buttons to talk To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption) for caretakers to review. Once your application is approved, we will bring the adoptable pet to your home for a preliminary visit. We are 100% donation-funded and our fees are equivalent to (or less than) the cost to fully vet a new dog yourself. Please expect an adoption fee of $350; some of our urgent or long-term dogs have discounted fees.November 29, 2023, 7:57 am
