Story
I took in Drogon in the spring of 2022 when he was just over 2 years old. He had hotspots and mats all over his body, drainage from his mouth, ears, and eyes. He is now a healthy and thriving boy, but we are now faced with the difficult decision of rehoming him. He is the size of a small adult and has been allowed to free-rome in a fenced in yard. This dog is the epitome of relaxed. He will sit outside, curled up, in the rain and cold before he comes inside. You can brush him all day long and he will sit there and let you. He does really well with bathing. This is not a farm dog- he was never given a job and has never been on a farm. He will 100% eat your chickens. Drogon is a very sweet soul and makes us smile every day.

Born in September 2022, Athena is a gorgeous Great Pyrenees mix with a soft yellow-and-white coat and the kind of soulful eyes that will melt your heart in an instant. At first, Athena might greet you with a gentle bark — her sweet way of saying hello — but she quickly warms up once she realizes she’s found a new friend. Calm, cuddly, and affectionate, Athena loves being close to her people and thrives on attention and love. She’s gentle, obedient, and incredibly loving, the kind of dog that’s impossible not to spoil. Athena adores her “brother” Tank and often follows his lead, even if she prefers a slower pace. If you’re looking for a loyal, easygoing companion who will shower you with unconditional love, Athena is the perfect match. Adoptions are limited to an approximately 150 mile radius from Locust Grove, GA, certain circumstances may allow exceptions.  Adoption fee is $250 To apply to adopt this pet, please fill out a Preliminary Adoption Application at  https://www.streetpaws.org/home/adopt.     This application does not commit you to an adoption. It is used to screen those interested to make sure the home is a good match for the pet and your family. We verify vet history on current/previous pets to ensure pets have been spayed/neutered and vaccinated annually. Please call your vet to give permission for us to call them. We got March from a farm and had decided to keep him as a birthday present for our 3-year old, his name reflecting both when we brought the dog home and the birth month of the toddler. He is 2 years old, and all we are looking for is someone capable of giving him the love and care he deserves. We would describe March as intelligent and playful.
