Story
Cooper just turned 5 years old. He is a high energy very alert dog. He doesn’t miss anything and wants to be the center of attention. He enjoys running around in my large fenced in yard chasing rabbits, squirrels and whatever. Loves to go on walks. Cooper has only been around me so that’s all he knows. Due to job change I can’t leave him inside house 15+ hours a day. I really think he would love a farmhouse atmosphere where he could run indoors and out. He loves treats and when it’s food time I let him eat in peace because that is his time and I don’t bother him. Inside he likes to find the near AC vent and plop down. He is my best buddy but he deserves a family that can give him more time and not being inside so much by himself. He got his first few shots at Vet but hasn’t been back. Cooper is potty trained. He has never went inside and always wants to be around someone or just always being nozy. He loves to play with his toys. I need to find him a good home soon. Thanks for looking.

Story
We got Poirot to be a companion to our aging Malamute who had recently lost his friend, our 12 yr old German Shepherd. Poirot did the trick and seemed to lift our malamute’s spirits until he also passed away. Now Poirot is an only dog and we have full time jobs with 2 little girls under 4 yrs old. Poirot is a little too big and active for them so we don’t spend much time with him. We feel that at this point in our lives, we aren’t able to give Poirot his best life and are seeing if some other family has better circumstances with a lot of love to give.

Story
Coronado is a very friendly sweet boy who loves to be near people. If you have visitors he will make quick friends with them, captivating them with his charm. Being petted is one of his favorite thingsHe will follow you and stay by your side throughout the day. He enjoys being brushed, which is very helpful with a Great Pyrenees.Bonus -- he almost never barks!!Coronado loves walks and does great on leash. He takes cues from you and will either walk next to you or slightly ahead, whichever you tell him. He doesn't pull on leash, but you do have to watch him to make sure he doesn't grab any "goodies" off the ground if you let him pause. He has walked 2 miles and has jogged a half mile with no problem and loved it!He also loves car rides so you have a choice of adventure. He is hard of hearing, fortunately he doesn't need much direction.I believe he will be happier in a home with more people and/or visitors. He loves people too much for it to be just me, him and my other dog

Say hello to Jerry, a handsome Lab/Great Pyrenees mix born in December 2024, weighing around 50 pounds. Jerry has spent his whole life as a guard and working dog, and now he's ready for something he's never really had before: the chance to simply be a normal, happy pup. He's ready to retire from the working life and spend his days soaking up love, playing, exploring, and being part of a family. Jerry is truly wonderful with everyone! He is great with people and kids, gentle, sweet, and loving. He also gets along beautifully with other dogs, cats, and all kinds of farm animals. He has experience around goats, chickens, cows, and horses and is comfortable sharing his world with them. What Jerry really wants is a family where he can finally relax and learn what its like to just be a dog. He would absolutely love having doggie or kitty pals to keep him company and play with, along with people who will give him all the affection he deserves. After a lifetime of watching over everyone else, Jerry is ready for someone to watch over him. If you're looking for a gentle, sweet, easygoing companion with a big heart, Jerry may be your guy. ❤️ Meet Jarvis — A Survivor With a Heart of Gold 🐾 Please note that we are a foster based rescue in TX. All of our dogs reside in foster homes in TX. We transport them to new states once adopted. **ALL ADOPTERS MUST BE 21+.** Our app can be found at **haydudeequine.org** Hi, I’m **Jarvis**, and I’m living proof that having a rough start doesn’t have to define your story. ❤️ I’m a **distemper survivor**, and before coming into rescue, I was found as a stray with an absolutely unbelievable group—**18 puppies and two female Great Pyrenees!** We have no idea exactly how I ended up there, but somehow we all found our way to safety. And now? I’m ready for my happily-ever-after. My humans call me a **special needs boy**, but honestly, I think I’m pretty darn normal. I walk just fine on a leash, eat like a champ, and get around without any trouble. I do have one little reminder from my distemper battle: I have a **permanent tic in my back legs that you can see when I’m sitting or lying down**. My legs don't wobble, and it doesn't prevent me from walking or enjoying life—it’s simply a little involuntary movement that I’ll have forever. Basically, my legs occasionally decide to do their own little dance. 💃🐾 And I say, **let them dance!** Because I have places to go, people to love, and treats to investigate. Speaking of people… **I LOVE PEOPLE.** ❤️ I am an absolute sweetheart and genuinely enjoy being around humans. If you sit down, there is a very good chance I will come over to say hello. If you offer affection, even better. If you have treats? Well, congratulations. We are now best friends. I’m also **good with other dogs**, so I’m perfectly happy sharing my world with some canine friends. What I really need is someone who can see past my little tic and recognize the amazing dog underneath. I don't need anyone to feel sorry for me. I need someone who understands that sometimes special dogs come with a few extra quirks—and those quirks are often what make them even more lovable. I survived distemper. I survived life as a stray. And after everything I've been through, I’m still a **happy, affectionate, people-loving boy.** That’s pretty special. Now I’m looking for my forever person—someone who will give me a soft place to sleep, a hand to hold, plenty of love, and maybe a few extra treats for being such a good boy. **My legs may have a little rhythm of their own, but my heart is perfectly steady.** ❤️ I’m Jarvis. I’m a survivor, a sweetheart, and I’m ready to be somebody’s very best friend. 🐾

This sweet boy has spent his whole life as a guard and working dog, but now he's ready to hang up his work hat and discover how wonderful it is to simply be a normal, loved pup.
