Story
This is Beau. He’s is a 2 year old Great Pyrenees mix with Beagle. He’s very loving and very sweet. He’s a big teddy bear. I am needing to rehome him sadly. He has been an outside dog for most of his life. He will need basic training if you bring him inside. He knows how to sit. He needs to be at a place where he can run. He gets along with other dogs, but can be food aggressive. He does good with kids, but has never really been around toddlers. Also, he is not good with cats.

Story
Blade is such a good guy! He is house trained and we are working on basic commands, so far he's got sit pretty well. He LOVES to be outside and would prefer to lay in the backyard for as long as possible (rain or shine) and it can take some work to get him to come in. We've been going on 3-4 walks a day to burn off some energy and this seems to be the best way for him. He is a guard dog by nature and loves to bark and keep his home safe. I have 3 cats and he is SO good with them. He is such a gentle boy! He absolutely loves all people and children. We are working on being friendly with other dogs besides Mummy (Male dogs have been questionable). He is so attached to Mummy and they do absolutely everything together and it's adorable.

Story
Mummy is an absolute goofball! She is incredibly playful and keeps me laughing non-stop! She will also stay outside with Blade all day long if you'd let her. They are both very stubborn, but she definitely wins if it's a competition we are working on our listening skills. She is house trained and we are working on basic commands, she knows how to sit- but only if she feels like it. She is also a natural guard dog, but mixed with some nervous/anxious energy. She barks A LOT and it takes some work to get her calmed down. She has some resource guarding issues when around other dogs, but not Blade or my cats. Food, toys and myself are off limits to anyone else besides "us". We are working on this and interacting with other dogs. She follows Blades lead on most things, and is attached at the hip with him. She needs walks and enrichment to succeed!!! We are going on 3-4 walks a day, and if she doesn't get that time to explore and exercise it shows in her behavior. She will chew things around the house out of boredom if she doesn't get that time in, otherwise she is great! She is also fantastic with my cats and loves people, children do seem to make her a bit nervous though (she is not aggressive at all just runs away if they are too fast or noisy). I can't see her being separated from Blade! They truly are partners

WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Lenny - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Hey y'all, it's Lenny here, as in Lenny Kravitz! Yep, I was named after the multi-talented performer as I have many talents of my own. 'I Belong To You' would be my ultimate dream come true. And, 'Are You Gonna Go My Way', where you can be 'My Cab Driver' so we can run thru those 'Fields Of Joy'! Oh my, yep, what dreams are made of!! I'm a youngster of only around 10 months but I have a very gentle soul that does very well with the other foster pups here at the rescue even the young puppies and the itty bitty little ones. I play very gently with them. I am a very happy happy boy that is easy going but I do have a slightly goofy side to me also. The entertainer side of me is the happiest when I get to see smiles and hear chuckles from my people! I probably won't get much bigger then my current 55lbs which I might say is a pretty pawsome size. I am always ready and willing to tackle any and all of those action packed adventures we'll be going on but at the end of the day, I'm also a perfect size for getting my cuddles on! Oh yeah, you know what I'm talking about....belly rubs, ear scratches, a lap to lay my head!! Are you searching for a multi-talented fella? One that will gladly be by your side on action adventures along with your daily going on's? If you 'Believe In Me' 'U Will Know' I'm the boy for you!! You only need to stop what you're doing and fill out my adoption application and I'll do the rest!!

WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Harley - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! My name is Harley and it comes from the Old English origin meaning 'Hare Meadow', which represents a peaceful and serene image. Just nothing like seeing a Pyr laying in the yard watching! Unfortunately my elderly owner is not able to care for me any longer but I'm trying not to let it get me down as I look for another family to adopt. Did you know that I came from royalty? The Pyrenees breed came from France where we made our way up from being a peasant farmers dog to the royal court being named the royal dog of France in 1675. Even Queen Victoria had a Pyr. We are strong willed and can sometimes be stubborn but more importantly we are affectionate, patient, confident, fearless and gentle. It is said that we wouldn't make a good breed for first timers but if you're aware of the negative traits (sometimes stubborn & lots of hair) along with the awesome good traits, we could definitely make it work. As a youngster at only around a year and a half old, I do have some basic obedience training, am well mannered, I don't jump up unless invited and have a sweet, loving warm nature that just adores getting 'good boys' from my people. I am a big boy of snowy white fluff. I will need several weekly brushings to keep my royal self tangle free and looking dapper and the vacuum will be an extension of your arm with me around but the reward of my adoring love for you will sooooo be worth it!! A couple of daily 45 minute walks a day should be enough to keep me happy. With that daily exercise in I can do quite well in town with a yard or in the country. I fall into the 3 G category which is Gorgeous, Gentle and Giant. Instinctively nurturing with the flock or family, we do make great family members. Just make sure the couch is big enough for sharing!!! My breed tend to love being with the family and are content to lay at or on your feet or curled up with you on that big enough couch. I'm here to adopt me a family and since you're reading this you must being missing something special in your life too, could it possibly be...ME?!!
