Story
We are looking to rehome our sweet dog, Luna. We’re moving to a new house and, with our current schedule, we aren’t able to give her the time and attention she truly deserves. Luna is a loving, loyal, and gentle dog who enjoys being around people and spending time outdoors. She does well with kids and adapts easily to new environments. We want her to have a home where she can get consistent love, care, and interaction. If you’re looking for a great companion and can provide a stable, attentive home, Luna would be a wonderful fit. Please reach out for more details.

Story
Want someone who’ll go first into the dark room, or lead you along the trail when you’re walking? You need a guy with a nose for adventure, like Mount Sneffels. He loves to explore and investigate every new smell, whether it’s what’s cooking in the kitchen or who might have been using his backyard. He’s curious and has a zest for life, which makes even the most routine household chores more interesting and more fun. Sneffels has the most adorable pink and black nose that he will gently poke into anything (or anyone) he wants to learn more about. He’s 3 months old, a Great Pyrenees mix from the Colorado Mountain Litter, who’ll probably end up about 45-55 lbs. He wants a family who is as curious and interesting as he is. He’ll be your good buddy, whether you’re out for a walk or just sitting around doing nothing. Sneffels is neutered, microchipped and up to date on age-appropriate vaccines. He’ll come to you current on heartworm preventative and flea/tick prevention. His adoption fee is $275. To meet him, apply to adopt at PawsitiveTailsKC.org. 🖤🤎❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍💜💙💚💛🧡❤️🤎🖤 APPLY @ PawsitiveTailsKC.org 🖤🤎❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍💜💙💚💛🧡❤️🤎🖤

Story
There’s a new DUDE in town, and his name is “Coop-Dog”. 😎 Ok, his name is really Coop, but he has enough swagger to pull off Coop-Dog. So, what makes this boy “swag”? Keep reading. Coop is a 4-year-old Great Pyrenees who currently lives in a foster home with five dogs, three cats, two kids, AND chickens! How’s that for well socialized? He is housetrained and knows how to “sit” and “down” when asked. This cool guy is fine on a leash, but he would prefer exploring his surroundings on his own. He has energy to burn, and he will need plenty of opportunities to expend it. Toys? He can take them or leave them, but make sure those shoes are put up; that is his “toy” of choice. Coop doesn’t seem to think rules are made for him. Hehe Coop is a handsome guy, and he knows it, so he will shed his coat quite a bit to make room for his stunning new fur. He is loving and sweet, but he can get “pushy” when he wants to go somewhere. He will push his way through. We call it pushy, he calls it swaggy. He can jump 4-foot-tall fences, so ensure you have a taller and secure fence, so he doesn’t go on an unsupervised walkabout. Coop is neutered, microchipped, current on vaccinations and flea/tick/heartworm prevention. His adoption fee is $175. You can apply to meet him at PawsitiveTailsKC.org. Once approved, a meet-and-greet will be scheduled. 🖤🤎❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍💜💙💚💛🧡❤️🤎🖤 APPLY @ PawsitiveTailsKC.org 🖤🤎❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍💜💙💚💛🧡❤️🤎🖤 Coop-Dog is too cool to wait, so hurry and get that application completed. Coop OUT! ✌️

Story
Meet Willow, a quiet, intelligent, and highly selective 5-year-old companion looking for a patient and understanding home. Willow is the definition of a loyal dog who truly chooses her owner. She is remarkably calm and well-behaved indoors (fully potty-trained and kennel-trained), but she thrives on outdoor adventures. One of her unique traits is that she is a silent partner—she is unable to bark or howl. Patience is Key: Due to a past traumatic accident, Willow approaches new people with caution. She is protective of her space and needs time to assess her surroundings. For successful introductions, we strictly follow her lead: adopters must wait for Willow to come to them first. What She Needs in a Home is Experienced Dog Lovers: Must understand dog behavior and emotional needs. We are looking for a family willing to dedicate the time and patience required to help her adapt, regain full trust, and truly thrive. Her love is earned, and once it is, it is fiercely protective and devoted.

Story
Meet Duke! Duke was surrendered to us after his owner fell ill and could no longer care for him. He is a sweet, happy fur-ball and is looking for a place to roam around and snuggle with his humans. He loves stuffies, romping around the yard, and getting all the treats! Duke is good with other dogs and people of all shapes and sizes, but says "no thank you" to the feline friends. Duke can be a bit of a flight risk, so he needs to be supervised in the yard when he's out or kept on a leash outside. Duke is an all around great dog that would love to be your best friend forever.
