Story
Meet Duke! Duke was surrendered to us after his owner fell ill and could no longer care for him. He is a sweet, happy fur-ball and is looking for a place to roam around and snuggle with his humans. He loves stuffies, romping around the yard, and getting all the treats! Duke is good with other dogs and people of all shapes and sizes, but says "no thank you" to the feline friends. Duke can be a bit of a flight risk, so he needs to be supervised in the yard when he's out or kept on a leash outside. Duke is an all around great dog that would love to be your best friend forever.

Story
Bet you didn`t know that marshmallow fluff came in extra-large sizes, did you? While Domo didn`t have the greatest start to life, he and his fluff are making up for lost time.He is currently living in a foster home where he is soaking up all the love and attention he can get. This gentle giant is finally getting the chance to live his best doggy life. He has learned to chase a ball, he`s learned how to roll in the grass and he`s working on developing his zoomies, which can be hard when your silly long legs seem to go every which way! And while he is developing those skills, they aren`t necessarily at the top of his list of things to do -- he is, after all, a Great Pyrenees so don`t expect hours-long fetch sessions or long, long walks. His favorite things include wandering the yard with his people to supervise whatever is going on, observing the goings-on in his or the neighbors` yards, and taking a reasonable length walk (which he`ll define for you)!In terms of who Domo loves, the list is pretty long. This gentle, affectionate boy loves his foster family, he loves all the neighbors who make regular stops to visit him, he enjoys watching the neighbor horses and he is pretty happy with his feline foster siblings. He hasn`t had much chance to visit other pups, but he quietly watches various canine neighbors without participating in any bark-fests and wanders away when he`s had enough listening. And finally, the neighbor cows didn`t impress him at all -- somewhat scary creatures, he thinks!Domo has been a very well-mannered boy in his foster home! He is house-trained, sits nicely for his meals, takes treats gently, and takes himself to bed when there isn`t attention to be had at any particular moment. He`s great in the car, but does appreciate a good boost up! And one of his favorite things is getting brushed every day- which, for a Pyrenees, is a fabulous (and pretty necessary) trait! Domo is currently around 90 pounds, but has more pounds to pack on - he`s going to be a big boy once he fills out! He would likely do best with older children as he can occasionally be a bit energetic for the younger ones! He would love to meet all the family members before going home! If you also have doggy family members, he`d love to have an introduction led by shelter staff to ensure that everyone is set up for a successful life together.Domo is vaccinated, neutered and microchipped. Come get your fluff on today!

Story
Ralphie is a 4yr old Irish wolfhound/great Pyrenees mix. He is a sweet, lazy boy who loves to lay around and watch squirrels out the window. He LOVES winter and play/laying in the snow is his favorite. He enjoys playing with stuffed toys and occasionally tug of war. He thinks he's a small puppy and loves to cuddle on the couch/bed. When Ralphie was 2, he was attacked by a big dog. He was terrified and didn't fight back but has since not gotten a long well with big dogs. He does live with a 7 pound Chihuahua now and they get a long well. So he should either be the only dog in the home or with a small breed. He has never been around a cat so. I am unsure of how he would do. We love Ralphie but are unable to give him the time and love he needs as we have little ones that keep us occupied and are traveling more often.
