Story
Meet Bella – Your New Best Friend! Bella is a beautiful 3-year-old pup with a big heart and a love for the outdoors. She’s full of energy and would thrive with an active family who can give her the space she needs to run, play, and explore—ideally in a home with a fenced-in yard. Bella is incredibly loving and loyal once she forms a bond. She’s friendly and affectionate, making her a wonderful companion. However, small children can make her anxious, so she’d do best in a calm, child-free home. If you’re looking for a devoted, playful, and affectionate dog to share your life and adventures with, Bella may be the perfect match for you! Is Bella the one you've been waiting for? Reach out today to meet her!

Gentleman Jack is in need of a loving home. As a middle-aged male, he may not have the same energy levels as younger dogs, but he makes up for it with his sweet and docile nature. He is content with a more relaxed and inactive lifestyle, making him an ideal companion for those who prefer a quieter pace. Jack's easy-going personality makes him a pleasure to be around, and he gets along well with other dogs. His gentle nature and friendly attitude make him the perfect addition to any family. Despite his age, Jack still has so much love to give and is patiently waiting for someone to open their heart and home to him. With his sweet and lovable demeanor, Jack is sure to bring joy and happiness to whomever is lucky enough to welcome him into their home. This dog is sheltered in a foster based, nonprofit rescue. MEET DUG!AVAILABLE NOW BUT IF STILL SEEKING MY FUREVER FAMILY - MEET ME AT THE PAWS, PAlS, AND PET SUPPLIES PLUS ADOPTION EVENT ON SUNDAY MAY 18 FROM NOON-3PM, LOCATED AT MEADOW BROOK AMPHITHEATRE (on the campus of Oakland University) 160 FESTIVAL DRIVE, ROCHESTER HILLS, MI 48309! Breed: Great Pyrenees MixAge: 8 MonthsWeight: 44 lbs (and growing!) Are you ready to fall head over paws in love? Meet Dug — a big, goofy puppy with an even bigger heart! This 8 month old Great Pyrenees mix was found as a stray and sadly never reclaimed, but he hasn't let that bring down his joyful spirit. Dug is bursting with personality and playful energy. He LOVES toys, romping around the yard, and being part of the action. He's a silly, social boy who enjoys the company of other dogs — especially those who are tolerant of his size and puppy antics. Still very much a puppy, Dug is working on his leash manners, crate training, and house etiquette. But don't worry — he's a smart cookie who is eager to learn, especially with some guidance and structure. Because of his breed and projected adult size, Dug would benefit greatly from continued obedience training. As a Great Pyrenees mix, Dug may grow into typical guardian breed behaviors — including being a bit vocal when he’s alert or protective. That’s why he’ll thrive in a home with a secure, spacious yard (no apartments or mobile homes, please!) with a fence and an active family who understands large breeds and can offer him both love and leadership. Dug would do best with older, dog-savvy children, and he's curious (but not aggressive) around cats — so a feline sibling might be possible with the right introductions. If you're looking for a fun-loving, loyal companion who’s ready to grow into a devoted protector and lifelong best friend, Dug might just be your perfect match. Give Dug the forever home he’s been dreaming of — with space to run, a family to love, and toys to chase! Dug is:Current on Rabies and DistemperDewormedHeartworm Tested: NegativeReceiving Heartworm and Flea PreventionMicrochippedScheduled for neuter surgery at our partner veterinary office in Chesterfield on 5/13.ADOPTION FEE: $375 IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN THIS PET, PLEASE COMPLETE THE APPROPRIATE APPLICATION FOUND ON OUR WEBSITE HTTP://FUREVERTAILS.COM. Unfortunately, at this time we are not currently adopting outside of the state of MI. Story
We got Ida in Jan 2024 from an animal shelter in our community. She is now 1 year 7 months. She is a fun, lovable dog, who loves to be outside and go to doggy daycare. Ida loves toys and playing with her balls. Is has received good care, food, and home. She has had training where she was there a month, then another for 3 weeks. She is very house trained and good around other pets and people. She needs a home where she can do the things her breed does. Protect live stock, be on a farm or land to roam and run around and live her best life. We live in a small area with no backyard and is not a good fit for her breed and they way she wants to be free outdoors. Because we have limited space she is digging in many areas in the yard, her pee is ruining the yard, she does not listen when it is time to come in the house because she wants to be outdoors. Were we live is causing the behavior issues which is normal for her but not for our HOA.
