Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.*** Check Out My Video Album Below! *** Snow Bear is a big, fluffy love-bug with a heart as soft as his fur. Despite a very difficult start to his life, Snow Bear has endured and retained his sweet spirit. He is currently in boarding, so he would love either a foster or furever home. He’s happiest lounging in the sunshine, getting brushed, and hanging out with his dog friends. While he enjoys attention, he’s a laid-back guy who’s also perfectly content to hang out in your vicinity with the occasional ear rub. He’s a bit of an independent spirit—he knows what “no” means (especially when digging holes), but listening…? - As for all Great Pyrs, that’s optional! Snow Bear walks well on a leash but prefers to take care of business off-leash in his own time. His perfect home would include a 5’ fenced yard, a patient and kind pyrent or two, possibly a canine friend to pal around with, and a comfy spot outside to soak up the sun. His overall gentle nature indicates he’d likely do well in a calm, loving environment for his forever home. Does Snow Bear sound like just the missing piece for your family? You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Eaton is a lovable Great Pyrenees boy who’s ready to find his furever home! This gentle giant came to rescue from Tennessee after being found wandering as a stray, and he's been winning hearts ever since with his affectionate personality and gloriously soft fur. Eaton is wonderfully well-rounded—he's fully house-trained, kennel-trained, walks well on leash, knows "sit," and is a perfect gentleman indoors. While he enjoys moderate activity and will happily romp in the yard with doggy friends, he's mostly a laid-back fellow who loves leisurely strolls and plenty of nap time. You'll often find this charming boy snoozing in doorways or right where you're standing, just to stay close to his favorite humans! With other dogs, Eaton is absolutely delightful! He gets along beautifully with canines of all sizes and greets potential playmates with an adorable play bow and happy dancing paws. When strangers arrive, he may bark initially but warms up quickly. He's happiest as an indoor dog who can shadow his people everywhere, though he needs a secure yard with at least a five-foot fence—fair warning, he's proven himself quite the escape artist! Eaton is easy-going about grooming and car rides, and has a fondness for chew toys and bones. This devoted boy would thrive with another dog companion in his forever home. He adores head scratches, gentle words of affection, and simply being near the people he loves. With his combination of loyalty, sweetness, and adaptability, Eaton is ready to become someone's faithful shadow and beloved companion for life! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.*** Check Out My Video Album Below! *** Meet Dolly, a sweet and gentle Great Pyrenees girl who's ready to find her forever couch! This lovely lady is the perfect low-maintenance companion – she's completely housebroken, crate trained (though she doesn't need one), and knows basic commands like "sit" and "come." Dolly is a tripod after losing a back leg from being hit by a car, but don't let that fool you – she gets around beautifully and just occasionally needs a little boost into the car for her favorite activity: going for rides! With her extremely patient and friendly nature, Dolly gets along wonderfully with other dogs, including the energetic 10-pound Shih Tzu in her foster home who tries to play with her all day long. She walks okay on leash, has no desire to escape her fenced yard, and doesn't dig. Like a true Pyr, she'll announce visitors with enthusiastic barking until they settle in, then she's all about soaking up attention and pets. Dolly has met a teenager without any issues, and prefers spending her days inside, chilling on the sofa with her people before heading to bed early each evening. Her ideal home has a 5-foot fence, and is with someone who appreciates a gentle homebody (not a hiking partner), who will spoil her with cheese, bacon, and eggs, shower her with nose kisses, and tell her every day just how beautiful she truly is – because this patient, loving girl deserves all the adoration in the world! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.*** Check Out My Video Album Below! *** Meet Frosty, a gentle giant with a heart as pure as his name! This sweet Pyr boy has come such a long way from his difficult start—he was found wandering as a stray in Louisiana, suffering from a badly broken leg and weighing just 57 pounds, about half of what he should have been. But thanks to dedicated rescue efforts and wonderful foster care, Frosty has blossomed into the lovable, laid-back companion he was always meant to be! Now fully healed and thriving, this medium-energy boy is completely housebroken, leash trained, and crate trained. He knows basic commands like “sit” and “come,” and he's proven himself to be an absolute sweetheart in his foster home where he peacefully coexists with five cats and five other dogs of various sizes, both male and female. Frosty is a bit shy when meeting new people, but he warms up quickly once he feels safe. He's not a digger and barks when he needs to go outside. This handsome boy enjoys lounging outside in cool weather, but is equally content relaxing indoors. He enjoys the occasional brushing session and absolutely melts for head scratches and belly rubs. True to his Pyr heritage, Frosty loves to act as your protector on walks, trying to herd you to keep you safe—it's completely endearing! His ideal home is a quiet, peaceful environment where he can continue his favorite activity: being wonderfully lazy! Frosty just wants to be your devoted companion and champion cuddler. He has an enormous capacity for love and snuggles. A 5-foot fence and people who love to dish out the rubs are the top things that this sweet boy needs to live his best life! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Bear and Glacier are an absolutely precious senior bonded pair of Pyrs who are ready for all your snuggles! This sweet brother-sister duo spent their entire lives together as outdoor dogs, and their devotion to each other is simply beautiful. Their owner passed away from cancer, and now these tender souls find themselves patiently waiting for a forever home to call their own. Bear, the handsome fellow with pink under his eye, and Glacier, the lovely lady with natural black eyeliner, are wonderfully mild-mannered seniors who would thrive in a home where they can get lots of attention. Their foster mom describes them as "the most gentle, calm and loving dogs who just want to be with their person" and “they are really the sweetest pair, and no trouble at all.” They both walk well on leash and are house-trained, as they keep their kennel completely spotless, doing their business in the yard during outdoor break times. They've proven themselves excellent with cats (as long as the felines are respectful), non-reactive to other dogs, and are completely unfazed by donkeys and goats, though they're admittedly not fans of chickens! With a 4-foot fence, they're content as can be, and they're not diggers or big barkers unless someone unexpected arrives and they need to alert you. While they prefer spending time outdoors where they've always been most comfortable, they absolutely adore coming inside for snuggles and affection. They handle grooming beautifully because it means extra attention, and any people food is considered a special treat! These gems show no resource guarding whatsoever and meet new people with calm, loving energy. Their ideal forever home would be a farm with protected shelter offering warmth and dryness, or a house with a doggie door where they can choose their own indoor-outdoor adventures. Whether you're a senior looking for gentle companionship or a family with older children, Bear and Glacier would make absolutely perfect additions to your life!
