Story
Falkor is a confident, energetic guy who loves to play, explore, and learn. He’s crate trained and thriving with routine, and he’ll do best with an adopter who enjoys training and structure. He is about 10 months old and weighs 75lbs. Falkor is affectionate, goofy, and full of personality. He gets along with dogs and is very kid and cat friendly!  He’s a smart pup with tons of potential and will make a loyal, entertaining companion. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.   August 30, 2026, 8:31 pm

Story
My name’s Stryker, and I’m a big, lovable Great Pyrenees/Shepherd mix looking-e! I don’t mean to brag, but I’ve been told I give the best hugs—big, fluffy, full-body snuggles that will make all your worries disappear. I promise, if you’re looking for a cuddle buddy, I’m your guy! I get along with most dogs, but I like to take my time getting to know them first—just to make sure we’ll be good friends. As for cats? Well… that’s still a mystery! No one’s really tested that yet. I’d love a home where I can enjoy the outdoors because I do not like it indoors at all. I do want to be with my people. To adopt one of our animals, please visit our shelter, open Tuesday-Friday from Noon-5pm and Saturday from Noon-4pm. You may also submit an application online from our website at http://www.HelpTheAnimalsINC.com/adopt.

Story
❄️🐾 Meet Winter — Your Future Gentle Giant! 🐾❄️ Say hello to Winter, an absolutely adorable Great Pyrenees puppy with a heart as big as her paws! 🤍 She was born around September 25, 2025, and came to us from a local surrender of 7 Great Pyrenees puppies. Both of her parents are full Great Pyrenees, so she’s the real deal — fluffy, sweet, and destined to grow into a loyal, loving companion. 🏡 About Winter: Winter is doing wonderfully in her foster home and is already showing how smart she is! She is learning to use puppy pads indoors and is doing great with them. At night, she keeps her pen clean for the most part, which is a huge win for a puppy her age 👏 🐶 Personality & Playtime: Winter loves to play with the other dogs and puppies in her foster home and really enjoys being part of the pack. She’s a happy, playful girl who also has a gentle, sweet side that will melt your heart. 🧸 Training & Learning: She loves toys and is very treat motivated, making training a fun and positive experience. This girl is eager to learn and will thrive with continued consistency and patience. 🚗🐕 Still Learning: Winter isn’t quite sure about car rides or the leash yet, but she’s a baby and we are already working on helping her feel more confident with both. With time and positive reinforcement, she’ll get there! 🌳 Home Requirements: • Fenced-in yard required. • Puppies will only go to homes that meet certain requirements. • You must have knowledge and experience with the Great Pyrenees breed. Winter is going to grow into a beautiful, loyal family dog who will do best with a family ready for a large-breed puppy and all the love, training, and adventure that comes with it. If you’re looking for a fluffy best friend to grow up with your family, Winter might be the one 🤍🐾

Story
Charlie is back with us to find a calm, quiet home without small children. We are thinking she would do best in a home with teenagers and older. Her previous owners did say that she has some food aggression and will need to eat by herself away from other animals and people. She can be a little shy and uncertain at times when she first meets someone new. Charlie does not seem to pay attention to our house cats here and seems to do well in here our other dogs here. We always do a meet and greet with any dogs in the home or visit frequently. If you are interested in meeting Charlie please fill out an online application and if approved we will schedule a time for you to visit with her.

Story
We adopted Lacy from a shelter in July 2025 - they thought she was about a year and full grown, some sort of beagle mix. She was much smaller and a little shy, and shadowed our senior dog wherever she went. When she went to get spayed and shots, the vet said she was not a year and was going to get much larger (and oh boy, they were right). We ended up getting a dna test done on her and she is half Treeing Walker Coonhound and half Great Pyrenees. As Lacy has grown, she has become an out-going, loving, high-energy giant. She adores people and attention, loves chewies and toys, goes crazy for the dog park to play with other dogs.Lacy is looking for an indoor home where she can get lots of love, lots of chewies, and have a human to cuddle with. She will also need lots of walks, running, sniffing, and playing to give all that energy a positive outlet
