Story
🤍🐾 Meet Freya — Your Loyal, Loving Guardian Girl 🐾🤍 Freya is an approximately 1-year-old Great Pyrenees with the softest fur, the sweetest eyes, and a heart full of love. Like many young Pyrenees, she is still blossoming into the majestic, loyal companion she was born to be — and she is going to make someone an absolutely incredible best friend. Freya will require a home with knowledge and experience with the Great Pyrenees breed. These beautiful dogs are intelligent, independent thinkers they are naturally protective, observant, and sometimes a little stubborn. But with understanding and proper guidance, they are unbelievably devoted and loving companions. Freya LOVES to play with other dogs and truly enjoys having canine friends. She would thrive in a home with another playful dog to romp around with. She does chase cats, so a cat-free home would be best for her. She walks nicely on a leash when using a harness and enjoys getting out to explore the world by your side. She is eating well and settling into routine beautifully. Now let’s talk about bedtime. 🥹 Freya will happily sleep by your bed all night long. She just wants to be near her people — close enough to know you’re safe, close enough to feel connected. That’s the Pyrenees loyalty shining through. One thing to know — she is not a fan of the crate and will let you know it by howling. (If you know the breed, you know they have opinions and they are not afraid to express them!) She would do best in a home that understands this and can provide structure without relying on crating. Freya has a friendly, loving personality. She wants affection. She wants companionship. She wants to be part of a family. Underneath that fluffy exterior is a smart, sensitive girl who bonds deeply with her people. If you understand the Great Pyrenees breed and are ready for a loyal, playful, affectionate companion, Freya just might be your perfect match. 🤍 She’s young. She’s loving. And she’s ready for her forever home. 🐾💕

Story
Falkor is a confident, energetic little spitfire who loves to play, explore, and learn. He’s crate trained and thriving with routine, and he’ll do best with an adopter who enjoys training and structure. He is about 5 months old and weighs 38lbs. Falkor can be slow to warm up with new dogs, so he’ll need patient, positive introductions, but once he bonds he’s affectionate, goofy, and full of personality. Falkor is very kid and cat friendly!  He’s a smart pup with tons of potential and will make a loyal, entertaining companion. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.   March 7, 2026, 5:34 pm

Story
Hi! My name is Chappell Bone. I’m a sweet, gentle girl who is adjusting well and loves having a soft dog bed where I can curl up and nap. I do well with other dogs and kids and really enjoy getting love and attention from my people. I’m a calm girl who prefers a quiet life rather than lots of activity, and I’m probably not the kind of dog who wants to go on regular walks. My perfect home would be on a farm or a large property, as I’m not a city girl and busy, crowded environments make me uncomfortable. I would do best in a peaceful, rural setting with plenty of space where I can relax and feel safe. I’m not sure how I feel about cats just yet.To adopt one of our animals, please visit our shelter, open Tuesday-Friday from Noon-5pm and Saturday from Noon-4pm. You may also submit an application online from our website at http://www.HelpTheAnimalsINC.com/adopt.

Story
My name’s Stryker, and I’m a big, lovable Great Pyrenees/Shepherd mix looking-e! I don’t mean to brag, but I’ve been told I give the best hugs—big, fluffy, full-body snuggles that will make all your worries disappear. I promise, if you’re looking for a cuddle buddy, I’m your guy! I get along with most dogs, but I like to take my time getting to know them first—just to make sure we’ll be good friends. As for cats? Well… that’s still a mystery! No one’s really tested that yet. I’d love a home where I can enjoy the outdoors because I do not like it indoors at all. I do want to be with my people. To adopt one of our animals, please visit our shelter, open Tuesday-Friday from Noon-5pm and Saturday from Noon-4pm.
