Story
Azalea is a beautiful and loving 3-4 months Great Pyrenees mix puppy. She gets along with her foster dog siblings and kid friendly. She’s is doing very well on house training and has started crate training. She is working on leash training as well. Does well in the car. She enjoys her kong with peanut butter and antlers to chew on. She loves to lay in the grass and hang out outside in the backyard. She even loves relaxing in a hammock! Enjoys a belly rub and cuddling on the couch. Please consider welcoming Azalea into your home. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.   May 1, 2024, 10:24 pm

Story
***Adoption Sponsored by Dave Knapp Ford ***Warm welcome to Buster! Buster came to us as a stray so our knowledge about him is very limited and we only know from what we have observed! We believe Buster is a 4-year-old neutered male Great Pyrenees Mix. Buster knows how to sit, shake and loves treats! Buster is a very sweet boy who is excited for his new furever home! Buster doesn't seem to mind the other dogs here at the shelter. Buster did great for his bath, nail trim and exam where he weighs in at 69.2 lbs. Buster was given Bordatella, parvo/lepto/distemper vaccines, dewormed, microchipped and is heartworm negative. Our adoptions are $100 cash/check. Our visiting hours are Monday-Friday 8am-11:45 am and 1 pm-4pm. Saturday 9am-11:30 am. We are located at 5066 County Home Rd. Greenville, OH 45331. You can reach us at 937-547-1645.

Story
Arlo is a 1-2 year old, maybe 75 lb (hard to tell through all the fur) Great Pyrenees (we think). He has thick white fur with black contrast. He came to canine collective with his brother Barney. He seems to be typical of the breed in that he is a laid back guy who just likes being near people. He will come to you for pets even if you are a stranger. Such a sweet handsome guy! Those eyes seem to stare into your soul. He is good with other dogs and kids and is great on a leash. You can apply for him at CanineCollective.org.

Barney (Foster or Adopt)

Great Pyrenees Blue Heeler

Male, 2 yrs 1 mo
Plain City, OH
Size
(when grown) X-Large 101 lbs (46 kg) or more
Details
Good with kids, Good with dogs, Good with cats,
Story
Barney is a big Ole relaxed 90 plus pound guy that we think is 1-2 years old. Although he looks like a big heeler and/or blue tick coonhound, we think he actually has quite a bit of Great Pyrenees. He has a much more laid back personality, his fur is supersoft and thick and his brother Arlo looks even more like a GP We don't know for sure without a DNA test but we do know that Barney is 100% lovable. Barney just likes to be around people and loved. He is great with dogs, kids (even toddlers) and doesn't bother cats. He is a real sweetheart and seems pretty low key. Loves being pet. Barney seems like a great guy to curl up with. You can apply for him at CanineCollective.org.
