Oakley came to us as a stray when she was under 5 months old. We searched for her owners for weeks. No one came forward. She was sweet and great with our baby, so we officially adopted her. We had her microchipped, spayed, gave her shots, and enrolled her in training. We then moved across the country with her. When we lived in another state, Oakley was able to play in a large fenced in yard during most of the day. This gave her the most of the stimulation that she needed. Now, where we live, and our job schedules, prevent us from giving Oakley this freedom She doesn't get the amount of attention and stimulation that she needs. This has led to behavior issues, that I am confident, with the right owners who have the time for training and play, would go away. In addition, she can't get along with the cat we've had for 12 years. She's great with other dogs, and would probably do well in a home with other dogs. I've mulled this decision for months and I think a new home would be best.

Why do they call me Slick? Cause you'll be stuck to me real quick! Most people find themselves glued to my fluffy, white side in a big warm hug. I love snuggling my big head into people's shoulders while they do this, it's so nice! I'm a big boy, a Great Pyrenees mix and around 5-years old currently, so I'll need an experienced family to take good care of me! I love staying in warm beds tucked into the corners of rooms so I can take a nap and keep an eye on everyone, make sure they're safe! I just wanna be a big teddy bear for someone, maybe that'll be you reading this! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)
