I am bonded with my brother. Find him here: https://www.adoptapet.com/pet/49120951-huffman-texas-great-pyrenees-mix. We are friendly gentle giants. With a single home since weening. If we are adopted together our family will waive half of the send adoption fee. We are currently fed a semi-raw grain free kibble topper and bone broth, during winter we receive rawmilk from a near by dairy. We are great family companions; We love affection. We spend most of our days running and playing around outside in our 1 acre paddock. We have the patrolling nature of our Pyrenees and the friendly nature of our lab. We are used to sleeping in our own climate controlled room in our garage. We are not house potty-trained yet, though we can stay in our room without accidents. We are contained using a livestock wire

🐾 Meet Kalei — The Fluffy, Lovable, Adventure-Ready Goofball! 🐾Great Pyrenees & Shepherd Mix | Pure Love | Part Dog, Part Teddy BearOH. MY. DOG. Have you ever wished for a giant, snuggly best friend who thinks she’s a lap dog? Then let us introduce you to Kalei — a sweet, goofy, gentle giant who brings the fun and the fluff.Kalei is the ultimate combo of playful puppy and wise old soul. She adores her little dog friends (even the bossy Chihuahuas), happily shares her toys, and will melt your heart with her famous "lean of love" — though at 127 pounds, consider yourself warned: this is a full-body experience. Some of Kalei’s favorite things:🎾 Playdates with doggy pals🛏️ Sprawling on her giant orthopedic bed like royalty🚗 Car rides with the windows down (ear flaps optional)🌲 Exploring new walking trails with her humans in towShe’s crate-trained, knows how to sit, and is brushing up on her trick repertoire — mostly so she can politely request snacks.Fun fact: Kalei is part bionic! After a rough start (she was hit by a car as a pup), she had a hip replacement and healed like a total champ. Now she’s running, romping, and keeping up with the pack like the superhero she is.What Kalei really wants now is a forever family — ideally with another doggy buddy — and a human or two who will let her lean on them (literally and emotionally). If you’re looking for a giant heart wrapped in soft fur, Kalei is ready to be your adventure buddy, couch companion, and oversized shadow.👉 Apply to adopt Kalei — she’s ready to fill your life with love, laughs, and just a little bit of drool.AARF Houston transports to approved adopters outside of Texas.

Story
This is Godfrey, he is a Great Pyrenees and an even greater sweetheart. He gives hugs and shakes hands when asked. Unfortunately, we are hoping to rehome him, since we are stuggling to provide adequate space amd time for him. Our new baby recently became mobile, and we noticed Godfrey starting to growl at him when he approaches. This is very unlike him, and very scary for us. Rather than test the limits of his patience or seclude him somewhere in the house, we decided it would be best to give him the home he deserves, even if its with someone else. He can be reactive on a leash with other dogs, but as long as he is able to approach them on his own (dog park, leash free, etc) he is very friendly. He has snapped at us a few times, but its been during situations where we try to bring him inside, and it stems from when he feels cornered. Mostly, he just likes to sleep or roll in grass. He would do best in a large acreage with no small children. It was my dream to provide that for him.

Story
Bruno, formerly known as Harry, is a big, beautiful 79-pound rescue dog with an affectionate, playful personality and a lot of love to give. He is extremely friendly and loves being close to his people. He has the kind of goofy, enthusiastic personality that makes him incredibly lovable. Bruno also loves other dogs. He gets very excited when he sees them and is always eager to play and make a new dog friend. He would likely love a home where he has opportunities to play and socialize with other dogs. Bruno has recently completed professional training/boot camp and is neutered. He is smart, social, and very people-oriented. He loves attention, affection, walks, playtime, and being part of whatever his family is doing. We love Bruno, and this is an incredibly difficult decision for our family. Unfortunately, because of his size and exuberance, he isn’t the right fit for our household with young children. He can get very excited and doesn’t always realize how big and strong he is, so we believe he would thrive in a home with adults or older children and someone comfortable handling a large dog. We are looking for the right home for Bruno—not simply the first available one. Ideally, his new family will have experience with larger dogs, space for him to exercise, and the time to continue reinforcing his training. Bruno deserves a home where his big personality can be an asset and where he can be loved as much as he has been here. ❤️ If you think you might be the right home for Bruno or know someone wonderful who could be, please send a message to his current home at 832-656-3656. Harry/Bruno is a male Pyrenees/Lab mix with an estimated date of birth of 9/8/25. As of 8/26, he weighs 79 lbs.
