hi Bess, this pretty lady is a 9 year old Havanese. She was surrendered to us by a commercial breeder when they no longer wanted her. She is 15 lbs. After a long time at the puppy mill, it is not surprising that Bess came to us very scared and nervous. While she allows all handling, she is a sensitive girl that needs time to open up and feel more comfortable. Despite that, she does well in playgroups with other little dogs and will cuddle up on a volunteer's lap when she needs a rest. She is hoping for a loving and patient home that will continue working on her confidence. She would also like a home with another dog that is social and friendly so she could model those behaviors after them. She will come spayed, vaccinated, 4dx tested and microchipped. Story
We adopted Duffy, a 1 1/2 year old Havapoo puppy, from a home where someone was home with him all day. The owner had health issues and could no longer take care of him. We took him into our home - he is a great dog. He loves people but has separation anxiety. Duffy would benefit from having an owner who is retired or works from home. We have a very busy household - coming and going with work and other commitments. He is such a sweet dog but requires more attention than we ca give him.
