Meet Wooyeon, * Medical History: Previously treated for Babesia and heartworm. Treatment completed. *Rescue Story Wooyeon was found wandering the streets by two sisters, who brought her to a veterinary clinic. At the hospital, she was diagnosed with Babesia and heartworm. Unfortunately, due to the high cost of treatment, the original sisters left her at the hospital and could not continue her care. She was later transferred to a nearby private shelter, where she received full treatment and recovery support. Since then, she has been living at the shelter and is now healthy and ready to find her forever home. - Compatibility With Cats: She has briefly encountered cats at the veterinary hospital and showed no strong reaction. She was not particularly interested. With Other Dogs: She gets along very well with all other dogs and can be adopted into a multi-dog household. With Adults and Children: Very friendly and affectionate with both adults and children. Personality & Behavior Leash Manners: Very good on walks. Food Allergies / Diet: No known food allergies. She has mild tear staining, so allergies are suspected but have not been tested. She is not a picky eater. House Training: Prefers outdoor elimination. Separation Anxiety: None observed. Barking: No excessive barking. She may bark when excited or greeting people. Likes & Dislikes: She deeply loves people and craves human affection. Three Words to Describe Her Affectionate. Energetic. Hi I'm Barkley, MAR's favorite scraggly muffin. I know, I know, you're probably here because of my handsome good looks and long luscious locks. My friends at MAR say I need something called a "bath" and a "haircut" but I'm not too sure about that, I think the ladies love the Muppet look. I'm only 1 and a lot of people are surprised that one of my favorite hobbies is bird watching with my besties. What can I say? I have sophisticated taste. Snuggles and pets are also up my alley, so why aren't you here petting me already??? I am young and energetic, enjoying zoomies around the dog yard. My friends say that my makeover is going to happen before I get adopted, so I'm more comfortable and clean + ready to come cuddle on your couch! I love to make new friends, and I can't wait for you to come meet me.
