Story
Meet sweet Hazel — the definition of quiet strength. This beautiful 5-year-old Havanese with soft fawn patches and striking light green eyes came to rescue after spending her life in a puppy mill. When she could no longer be bred, she was finally given the chance at a new beginning. But for Hazel, learning how to simply be a dog is a journey that is only just beginning. Her story is written all over her. The quiet fear in her eyes and her gentle, cautious nature are both heartbreaking and inspiring. When Hazel first arrived, she was terrified of nearly everything. She would tremble anytime someone approached her, lowering her eyes as if trying to disappear. Yet despite the fear and uncertainty she carried, she never showed aggression — only quiet resilience. Interestingly, Hazel seemed to trust children the most from the start. We can only imagine that perhaps the children at the farm were the only ones who ever showed her kindness. And slowly, little by little, Hazel has started to bloom. She has begun seeking out gentle affection from her humans and has discovered that ear scratches might actually be one of life’s greatest treasures. She’s starting to show playful moments and curiosity, and watching her learn that the world can be safe has been incredibly rewarding. Hazel absolutely LOVES other dogs and would thrive in a home with a confident canine companion to help continue building her confidence. She is also cat friendly, crate trained, doing wonderfully with potty training, and learning how to walk on a leash. Because of her past, Hazel would do best in a calm, patient home with older children who can understand and respect her need for time and space while she settles in. Once she trusts you, she will be the most loyal and loving companion imaginable. Hazel truly embodies quiet courage. After everything she has endured, she still wants so badly to love and be loved. Beneath her fearful exterior is an absolute diamond waiting to shine. Her future family is going to be so incredibly lucky to have her.   Visit our website to apply www.outcastrescue.com. You must be over 21 and live within 2 hours of the Lehigh Valley, PA and NJ areas. PA Kennel License 16187               May 29, 2026, 8:55 pm

Story
Vader is a great dog who needs someone who will give him affection and love. His original owner was my cousin who was battling breast cancer when she adopted him. Due to her illness Vader was being pad trained and not house broken. I brought him home with me when she could no longer care for him. I have tried to crate train and house train him I have not been successful. Hopefully I can find him a loving home with someone who has the time and patience to do so.

Story
Meet Madonna, lovingly called Lily Pop Fostered in Sewell, NJ This sweet 3-4 year old Havanese girl is looking for a patient, loving home. She is a small girl at about 7 bs. Madonna is shy and unsure at first, but once she feels safe, she’ll let you hold her, love on her, and stay close by your side She loves cozy beds and quiet comfort and is still learning how to be a dog — from potty training to going outside and leash walking. She just needs someone willing to guide her with love and patience She is looking for a loving home full of  kindness and patience.  She is dog AND cat friendly and would love a home with another dog to keep her company.  She is spayed and up to date on vaccines.  She is on a prescription food, as she had bladder stones which were removed when she was spayed.  Her adopter will need to be committed to keeping her on this food. Little update: Madonna had the sweetest breakthrough today! She was happily playing with her foster sibling—something her foster mom hasn’t seen before She’s really starting to come out of her shell! Because of this, we feel she would truly thrive in a home with another young,  playful, friendly pup to help her continue building confidence Tto fill out an application, click below:https://peytonsplaceanimalrescue.org/adoption-application ##2718861##

Story
Meet Wooyeon, * Medical History: Previously treated for Babesia and heartworm. Treatment completed. *Rescue Story Wooyeon was found wandering the streets by two sisters, who brought her to a veterinary clinic. At the hospital, she was diagnosed with Babesia and heartworm. Unfortunately, due to the high cost of treatment, the original sisters left her at the hospital and could not continue her care. She was later transferred to a nearby private shelter, where she received full treatment and recovery support. Since then, she has been living at the shelter and is now healthy and ready to find her forever home. - Compatibility With Cats: She has briefly encountered cats at the veterinary hospital and showed no strong reaction. She was not particularly interested. With Other Dogs: She gets along very well with all other dogs and can be adopted into a multi-dog household. With Adults and Children: Very friendly and affectionate with both adults and children. Personality & Behavior Leash Manners: Very good on walks. Food Allergies / Diet: No known food allergies. She has mild tear staining, so allergies are suspected but have not been tested. She is not a picky eater. House Training: Prefers outdoor elimination. Separation Anxiety: None observed. Barking: No excessive barking. She may bark when excited or greeting people. Likes & Dislikes: She deeply loves people and craves human affection. Three Words to Describe Her Affectionate. Energetic. Needs special attention,
Story
Smore may be tiny — just 9 weeks old and 5 pounds — but this little Havanese/Bichon mix carries a spirit bigger than her diagnosis. Born with a congenital heart condition called subaortic stenosis (SAS), Smore’s life will likely be shorter than most. There’s no cure, but a daily medication helps her heart work more comfortably. But here’s the part that will take your breath away: Smore doesn’t know she’s sick or that her time may be limited. This energetic little girl runs with the other dogs in her foster home, chases toys twice her size, and proudly “helps” by untying shoelaces whenever she gets the chance. She’s goofy, bright, and full of that irresistible puppy sparkle. Smore isn’t looking for pity. She’s looking for someone who will love her the way she loves the world — fully, joyfully, and without hesitation. Her perfect family will be one who understands her medical needs and is willing to give her the gift of a life lived to the fullest, however long that may be. A family who believes that even a short life can be a beautiful one. A family who wants to fill her days with comfort, laughter, and the kind of love every dog deserves. If you have room in your heart for a girl whose sweetness outshines her challenges, Smore will give you every ounce of love she has. She may not have forever — but she has today, and she’s ready to spend it with someone who sees how special she truly is. Pa Kennel License # 07735
