Story
Clutch is the kind of dog that makes you feel like the luckiest person in the room, mostly because she's decided you're worth her attention, and she doesn't give that out freely. She's sharp as a tack, food motivated, and picks up training quickly. She knows what she wants and figures out how to get it, which in practice means she's highly trainable and also, occasionally, has escaped her pen. These two things are related. She's not being bad, she's just applying his skills broadly. She's got plenty of energy, but it burns off fast. Once she's had a good run around, she crashes hard. She's great with kids, easy with other dogs (though she has been known to casually steal a more interesting treat from a dog nearby, oops), and has her potty routine down. She'll use a pad when needed, but given the choice, she's a grass girl. Clutch is goofy, clever, and all heart once she's comfortable. We think clutch would fit best in a home with a little patience, lots of love to give, and most importantly, a good sense of humor. -----

A Quick but Important Note to All Adopters:
Please remember that none of our dogs arrive fully trained. Most come from tough or uncertain beginnings and may have never lived in a home or known basic routines. That means:

✧ They are not potty trained on arrival. Most dogs regress in potty training when moving to a new environment.

✧ They may lack basic manners (like leash walking or appropriate chewing).

✧ They’re learning, growing, and doing their best—but they will need patience, structure, and compassion to succeed.

The majority of these pups have lived in the confinement of a cage or kennel run for most - if not all - of their lives. Because of this, we strongly discourage the use of crates for anything other than vehicle transport. They deserve the chance to decompress and learn what true freedom and comfort feel like.

Our amazing foster homes work hard to start these dogs on the right path, but they are rescues, not finished products. These dogs need time, consistency, and a loving home willing to meet them where they are.

Also, breed designations are our best guesses based on appearance and behavior. We can't guarantee breed, size, adult weight, or coat type.

Story
Just like the hiking trail, SquireCreek is a hidden gem that rewards anyone willing to put in a little extra effort to get to the really good stuff. And trust us, he’s worth it. SquireCreek is a smart, observant little guy who’s warming up to the world one (careful) step at a time. He likes to take things in, read the room, and decide on his own terms that you're worth his time. But should he deem your presence acceptable (he always does), you’re in for a treat. He's already got "sit" down, picks up new things quickly, and is very treat-motivated, which makes training sessions a blast. He's already about 90% consistent with the pee pad and the backyard, which, for such a young guy, is a pretty impressive track record. He eats well, sleeps well, and loves hanging out and playing with his brother in the backyard. Worth noting: SquireCreek takes his meals seriously, which we really can’t blame him for. If he feels like someone's eyeing his food a little too closely, he'll make his feelings known with a bit of a grumble. However, with some simple mealtime management, it's basically a non-issue. He just likes to know his resources are secure. To be fair, same. He can also be a wee bit sensitive to unexpected touches and other things, like loud noises, nor is he the biggest fan of the brush. But, but he's learning every day that the brush actually isn’t the Boogeyman, and his people will never, ever hurt him. Like his namesake, SquireCreek is oh-so-similar to a trail winding through the old growth of the North Cascades, revealing itself little by little. The people who take their time with him are going to find something really, really special waiting at the top. -----

Story
She goes by LQ, she's about the size of a cotton ball, and she is going to be someone's absolute everything. LQ is a fluffy little pup making her way through the Olympic National Forest of life, at her own pace, of course. She's easygoing, sweet, and is slowly but surely coming around to the idea that humans can actually be pretty great. She's not all the way there juuust yet, but she's getting closer every day. When she's not busy warming up to people, LQ can be found doing her other favorite things: lying in the grass, exploring the backyard, and playing with her sister. She is, as it turns out, a big fan of outside, which makes sense for a dog named after a trail that winds through some of the most beautiful forest in Washington. The real Little Quilcene trail is described as steep, stunning, and rewarding. Likewise, LQ needs a little patience and a gentle hand, but the payoff is a sweet, trusting, fluffy little companion who will love you more than life itself. Worth it! She'd love a home with another small, friendly dog to keep her company, and a family that understands that the best things (the best dogs) sometimes just need a little time to open up. -----

Story
ShiShiBeach is a spunky little girl who loves to be where the action is! She is small but mighty! She enjoys romping around with her sister and foster brother! She would do best in a home where there is another pup. While she loves hanging out with pups she equally loves attention! She likes being held and may not still yet to snuggle through a movie but she's quite the little love bug! -----
