Story
Simon loves other dogs and would be happiest with a friendly companion — or he can be adopted with one of his “family” members. He needs a home where people aren’t gone long hours and can give him time to settle in and feel safe. This boy has a soft heart, a calm nature, and deserves a forever home that will finally give him the love and stability he’s been missing. Please call us if you’re interested in adopting him 360 2580702

Ive been fostering my Dads dog for a year now and it is time to rehome him as work long hours and it's not good for a dog to be home all day alone. He would be a great fit for a single person or a family. Enjoys going to the offleash dog park. Gets along with other dogs. Story
Ben is a wonderful senior dog. He lives with a senior lady and they enjoy daily naps (he is not a lap dog). He does not get under foot but is always by her side when she goes anywhere except in the car. He’s a homebody except when he goes to the groomer every 6 weeks. He’s a little deaf . He is very good with small children that understand how to treat animals . He’s not much for going for walks. His owner is elderly is it’s getting harder for her to take him out to go potty . He’s her best friend and has a wonderful disposition.

It rips our hearts out to think about what Pearl went through and is a true survivor. What she has seen and witnessed, so much evil in her life. She was pulled out of a slaughterhouse and it’s soul destroying to think of what she has been through and yet she still loves human beings even after everything she has seen and heard in her previous life. We cannot even begin to imagine what Pearl witnessed and heard when she was at the slaughterhouse. How Pearl ended up in a slaughterhouse for human consumption and yes you did read that correctly, we will never know? What we do know is, she was pulled out of there by our outstanding Chinese rescuer just in time. Working with one of our truly devoted, dedicated and absolutely outstanding Chinese rescuers she rescued Bella and many others for us. Without this beloved rescuer going in and getting Pearl out, her fate was a torturous death. We believe every sweet soul such as Pearl and her friends deserves to be loved and cherished and given the chance to have a wonderful life. We believe every sweet soul such as Pearl and her friends deserves to be loved and cherished and given the chance to have a wonderful life. Now Pearl is looking for a special family to cherish her and be patient with her & remember what this beautiful soul has been through and a family that meets all her needs. Pearl was rescued by our truly amazing Chinese rescue friends and just as always we are beyond grateful to the Chinese rescue who we are so extremely thankful for what they do day in and day out for these babies, we cannot thank them enough. Pearl was bought back to the USA where she is now a US citizen and is so happy to be here & can’t wait to find her new loving devoted forever home. Pearl our stunning Pearl with those beautiful big eyes that look into your soul. One of the most beautiful souls you will ever meet. She loves to love you & one of the nicest easiest little ladies her foster mum and dad said. She loved hard when people love her and has a very fun and very cheeky personality. She now sits there and stares at her foster mum with so much love. She knows her world is so very different. Her foster mum and dad said she is such a good girl and up for anything and comes when they call her and gets so excited especially when it’s time to eat. She radiates gratitude. She just wants you to love her and she will love you back. She adores being hugged and held because the reality is we are the first real people in her life to show her such true love and affection apart from a very short time in her foster home in China. She is a really smart girl too because on the day of arrival in her foster home she taught herself to run up hardwood stairs and follow her foster mum. She sometimes thinks it’s a game with running up and down the stairs and gets very cheeky about it, especially when it’s time for bed. When she finds people who love her they become her world. She is such a soft gentle girl who gets so excited every time she sees her foster mum and her little tail is always wagging with glee. We mean non stop, she has so much gratitude. She will also sit on her hind legs with her paws in the air for her foster mum and dad to pick her up. She loves to snuggle up with her foster siblings and must go to a home with another dog who will be company for her. She loves a good outfit and will get ready for you to put one on her. Pearl eats a clean diet, meaning raw fruits, raw vegetables, 70 % raw proteins, grains, fats and supplements. She also enjoys collagen sticks and bully sticks. She is obsessed with them & looks forward to them. All of her treats are homemade. Pearl has been taught to walk on harness and leash and has been doing wonderful. She would need continued work walking on her harness and leash. Pearl is a rescue and will need patience, time and understanding. Pearl adores being pampered and doesn’t want you to stop when brushing her, cleaning his eyes, grooming her, baths, the hairdryer she loves it all. We would say though at first until she knows you with the bath & hairdryer she might be a bit uncomfortable. She also does extremely well being touched in general & adores receiving love. Having toys and a warm bed is all new to Pearl & we have been excited to change her world with the introduction of toys & lots of love & affection & a loving environment. In the past several weeks Pearl has now learnt to play with her toys & she enjoys the stuffed toys. Pearl has learnt to ride in the car and does well in the car and enjoys a good car ride. She is such an amazing, loving little lady. With Pearl we are only looking for a crate free home for this lovely little lad only. Please do not apply with the intent to crate this girl. We are also looking for a forever home for Pearl where someone is home during the day or Pearl can go with her people wherever possibly she can go with them. Pearl is looking for a forever home who will cherish her and love her as she should be loved and be very patient with her and understanding. Pearl has been around many breeds of dogs all shapes and sizes and she is currently with other dogs and enjoys their company in her loving foster home. She can be found at times snuggled up to her foster siblings and will want to sleep in bed with you and she does in her current loving foster home. A fully fenced backyard is mandatory for Pearl’s new forever home if it’s a free standing home. Pearl is now roughly 12.8 lbs and 3 years old. She is spayed and perhaps a havapoo and what she is mixed with we are not sure? She is microchipped, up to date on her shots including DHLPP, rabies and dewormed. Once these shots expire we will not redo them except rabies as we will not over vaccinate our beloved dogs. Pearl had a dental, scale & polish. We have spent over $2650 on Pearl with bringing her to the US with her travel airfare paying for her medical care, including, shots, spay microchip etc, than her adoption fee comes close to covering. Pearl has not been around cats since being in the rescue but it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals. We have not had Pearl with small children so we do not recommend children, but it’s always up to the family to be responsible with their children & animals. We were not there when Pearl was conceived so we do not know who her parents were and it’s always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures and decide what they think her breed is. As with all of our rescues and Pearl’s friends she will need work on potty training and training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life and that includes if they need training. Please do not email us asking is Pearl potty trained or available, nor do we ship dogs anywhere as we will not respond. We would never say anyone of our rescues are potty trained. Our rescues need homes where the people are understanding of their past & what they have been through and what they will need in their daily lives & not willing to give up on them and if they do need training in their new home will in fact take them to training and not just say they will when applying. Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Pearl and going through our process and have read her listing fully to the end and are wanting to adopt. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on and remove your application from our system. You must be willing to go through our screening process which includes your references being checked, a phone interview and a virtual home visit using Zoom followed by a meet and greet and if it’s a good fit, up to our discretion. We will only be accepting applications for Pearl who understands her needs and that meet all the requirements for this lovely sweet lady. Once we find the right home for each little soul we work fast, within days so the dogs can go to their forever homes in quite a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people as our goal is to save lives and please do not submit an application if you are not ready to adopt. Pearl has an adoption fee of $955 & is ready for her truly loving forever home and compassion and understanding of what she has been through.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.PLEASE go to our website www.collarofhope.org to read all information about our puppies, rescue, adoption process and to submit our adoption application.  All of our information does not transfer to the adoption sites. Before completing our adoption application, please consider the following: Is someone home to raise and train a puppy? Do you have a securely fenced yard for the puppy? Can you give a puppy a 15ish year commitment? This litter was born in our rescue the day we received their Mama.   If you apply for one of these puppies, note who your groomer is on the application as they'll need regular professional grooming their whole lives.  We do not want them in the horrible shape their Mom was in when she arrived nor the majority of the hair dogs we receive.   Families with young children in the home will not be considered. About these babies.  They are the sweetest and very social.  They are loving running and exploring now.  They are so fluffy that they've already started getting their pads shaved and sanitary clips done. Their Mama is a Havanese and we suspect (cannot guarantee) their Papa was a shih tzu.     Puppies that are not old enough to have received all 3 puppy DHPP vaccines will not be adopted to anyone in apartment or condo residents as they are not protected against parvo or distemper until they've received all 3 vaccines. Our puppies are or will be neutered, micro-chipped, vaccinated age appropriate (they will need additional vaccines), de-wormed and parasite treated/prevented throughout their time with CoH as a foster puppy.   Vaccine Protocol is as follows: DHPP series of 3 are needed and puppies are not protected against parvo or distemper until they're received ALL 3 vaccines. Rabies 6 months of ageVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 19, 2026, 7:40 pm
