Story
Juji is a Havanese puppy. He is fun and loves cuddles and playing with his foster sister. He is a hungry boy and has a great appetite. He sleeps well in a crate with a blanket over the crate to make it a little more cosy. He uses a pee pad pretty consistently. He is good with other dogs, but hasn’t been around children. He rides well in a car. He is a sweet little boy and gets more adventuresome every day. He is so easy to love. -----

A Quick but Important Note to All Adopters:
Please remember that none of our dogs arrive fully trained. Most come from tough or uncertain beginnings and may have never lived in a home or known basic routines. That means:

✧ They are not potty trained on arrival. Most dogs regress in potty training when moving to a new environment.

✧ They may lack basic manners (like leash walking or appropriate chewing).

✧ They’re learning, growing, and doing their best—but they will need patience, structure, and compassion to succeed.

The majority of these pups have lived in the confinement of a cage or kennel run for most - if not all - of their lives. Because of this, we strongly discourage the use of crates for anything other than vehicle transport. They deserve the chance to decompress and learn what true freedom and comfort feel like.

Our amazing foster homes work hard to start these dogs on the right path, but they are rescues, not finished products. These dogs need time, consistency, and a loving home willing to meet them where they are.

Also, breed designations are our best guesses based on appearance and behavior. We can't guarantee breed, size, adult weight, or coat type.

Story
Ambrose is a Havanese/Shih Tzu puppy. He has really come into his own in the last couple of weeks! He is sweet and cuddly, but also loves to play (especially with a dog friend and a cat). He loves being a part of the family and following people and pets everywhere. He enjoys chew toys and tends to play for a while then take a long nap. He sleeps quietly in a crate at night, only making noise if he needs a potty break and then going right back to sleep afterward. He is starting to get a better understanding of potty training and showing a preference for outdoors and/or pee pads with fewer accidents. He is such a love and everyone who meets him can’t get enough. He has the best personality that just can’t be captured in a photo. He will make someone a phenomenal companion and best friend. He sleeps through the night in a crate. Most nights he sleeps quietly from 10-6 at least (and will happily go back to sleep until 7 or 8). He is learning to potty outdoors or on pee pads primarily, but still has accidents. He is definitely showing improvement! He is good with other dogs, cats, and children. He is Ok riding in a car. He’s the cutest little guy with the best personality and smile. -----
