He needs someone who is patient, kind, and strong. Because of his size and strength we have not had him around children.

If you're looking for a loving companion, Nola is your girl! She is a 3 yo mixed breed who has been a deeply loved member of our family since puppyhood. She is affectionate and gets along great with adults, children, & our other large dogs. Beyond being a sweet soul, she also is fully house-trained, smart, and learns quickly. Because Nola is such an amazing dog, our decision to rehome her has been incredibly difficult. This decision is due to a recent incident involving one of our cats. After peacefully living with our cats for years, it appears Nola has developed a strong prey drive toward small animals. Recently, when another dog chased one of our cats, Nola reacted to the fast movement as prey rather than recognizing our cat as her housemate. We love her deeply, but we must prioritize the safety of our resident cats. Nola deserves a home where she can be loved for exactly who she is, a big-hearted, loyal companion who simply needs a small-animal-free environment to thrive.

Lobo is a big, strong boy who loves playing outside but also also enjoys being a couch potato and watching tv while he enjoys a good chew bone. Lobo is doing well with his house training and is good in his secure crate. He is fine with other dogs with proper introductions and loves every person he meets. He can still get a bit excited when meeting new people and may need to be reminded of how big he is. Lobo would be best as a companion dog where he can go on fun hikes and walks or runs where he can got out his Husky energy. Meet Jackie — a highly social husky-mix puppy who’s pretty sure everyone wants to be her best friend. She’s the epitome of a social butterfly!  Jackie loves going for her morning walk and greets everyone she meets like she’s known them forever.  She looks so confused when anyone ignores her sweet tail wags.  Jackie’s breed results revealed she is 58 percent husky. Her other half is a mix of small percentages of seven other breeds: German shepherd, chow chow, Alaskan malamute, cattle dog, Labrador retriever, pit bull and boxer. As of early May, Jackie is about four months old and weighs 18 pounds. Her breed results predicted her full-grown weight could be anywhere from 40 to 66 lbs, but she is likely to be on the lower end of that range.  Jackie is highly intelligent and has been potty trained since she was 9 weeks old. She has never had an accident in her foster home. She’s very treat motivated and is an expert at “sit” and “down.” After some work in her foster home, Jackie is now fully crate trained and sleeps quietly in her crate throughout the night. No more husky whining before bedtime!  Jackie is super playful and adores other dogs. She would do best in a home with another dog who also loves to play. She also is an active dog who loves her morning walk, so a forever home that regularly walks their dogs is a must. Newton is a very sweet boy who melts for chin scratches. He is a bit of a picky eater, although we have recently found out he will take his medication very willingly if it's in a hotdog. He is kennel trained, and walks well on a leash. He is a very smiley guy, who has a silly quirk of sticking his head into the water bowl as it is being filled up. He has passed his initial dog test at animal control, however he has not been paired up yet with another dog in a playgroup as he is still healing from his neuter surgery.
