Story
Meet Lazarus, a resilient little parvo survivor who came back from the brink of death and now approaches every moment of life with zero fear and lots of love!  Lazarus is a snuggly little boy with all the confidence in the world. Nothing scares or fazes him. He greets everyone he meets with so much love. He’s friendly, but also calm. He loves to cuddle and will crawl on top of his human and doggy friends to take a nap.  Lazarus is proving to be an all-around good boy. He’s excelling at both potty training and crate training, sleeping quietly through the night in his crate. He’s super food motivated and very easy to train.  Lazarus is currently around four months old at the end of June and will be a nice medium size when full grown, likely around 50 lbs. His recent breed results show that he’s 50 percent Siberian husky, 43 percent American Bully and 6 percent American pit bull terrier. He’s also 100 percent lovable!! Lazarus would be a perfect addition to almost any home with the time to take on a puppy. He’s very easygoing and adaptable to all situations. A doggy sibling who likes to cuddle would be the icing on the cake!  If interested in adopting one of our available pets, please fill out an application at https://www.cognitoforms.com/DixieGirl1/PetAdoptionApplicationForm2 Most of our are pets are fostered in Southern foster homes and are posted for adoption once they are completely vetted and ready to travel. Story
Meet Leo! This lovable pup is a unique mix of Siberian Husky, Great Pyrenees, and Mountain Cur. Leo is a sweet, affectionate boy who adores spending time with his humans. He loves to play with his ball and to go for walks and hikes. He’s a great indoor dog that is crate trained and also loves quiet time cuddling with his human. He loves to go for rides in the car, especially when going for a hike or play date. At the shelter, Leo earned the title of "play yard rockstar" for his excellent social skills with other dogs regardless of their size. He’s a smart pup who already knows several commands, including "sit," "down," "shake," and "leave it." Leo will need a home with a 6-foot fence and a playful canine companion to keep him company. He may be a little shy around men at first, but with patience, kindness, and treats, he quickly warms up and shows his loving nature. He’s ready to find his forever family—could that be you? Leo can’t wait to meet you!

Story
Beautiful Chance is big, beautiful, and strong. He is part Husky and part Wolf, He looks like a Wolf, He howls rather than bark. He has eyes that are Husky eyes, and two different colors. He loves to play fetch and walks well on a leash. He loves treats. He enjoys cold weather. He would be great protection. Chance will be sweet and loyal with the right owner. He needs someone who is patient, kind, and strong. Because of his size and strength we have not had him around children.
