Story
Felix is a 2-year-old neutered Husky/Australian Cattle Dog mix who was rescued just hours before euthanasia in Roswell, NM—and he’s been making the most of his second chance ever since. He’s a smart, energetic, food-motivated boy who loves puzzle toys, running, and being part of the action. Felix thrives with structure and active owners who enjoy walks, hikes, or a big yard where he can stretch his legs. He knows basic commands (sit, down, wait) and is eager to learn more. Felix bonds deeply with his people and loves attention. He has done well with similarly sized or confident dogs but has a high prey drive and is not suitable for homes with cats, small dogs, or small animals. He is best suited for an adult-only home or one with older, dog-savvy teens, as he can be sensitive to sudden movements. Felix is ready for a home that understands him and will give him the guidance, activity, and loyalty he deserves.

She is a very active girl and would love a friend or two her size (40 lbs) and larger. She is friendly with cats and smaller dogs, but doesn't realize how big she actually is, so larger doggy friends would be best. She is house trained and knows to go outside for potty! We are currently working on her house manners and crate training, so she will need a family willing to continue setting her up for success.

Story
Rogue has been part of our family since she was just 8 weeks old, the past seven years. Writing this is one of the hardest things we've ever had to do. During my pregnancy, I developed a serious allergy to pet dander that has caused two hospitalizations due to severe asthma attacks; the most recent one putting both me and my unborn baby at risk. Because of this, we have to make the heartbreaking decision to find Rogue a new home as soon as possible. She has grown up in a home with kids and has always been good with them. She has never been destructive and is not high-energy. Her favorite place in the world is on the couch next to her people, soaking up cuddles and being near family. Her ideal home would be with someone who is around often; a stay-at-home parent, someone who works from home, or a family who wants a loyal companion by their side most of the day. Our hope is to find her the right, affectionate home where she can spend the rest of her life the way she deserves.

Story
Alice, full bread Siberian Husky. Born October 5th 2023. 3years old. I adopted her at 9 weeks old, she has lived with me and my family ever since. She grew up around 3 adults 4 kids and 2 dogs (doodle and cocker spaniel) She likes kids and baby’s we joke she would be a good mother. She has separation anxiety issues that I’m working on right now with crate training. I recently moved out alone into a studio apartment and work 50 hours a week so I do not have the time or help to keep her anymore. This is heartbreaking for me and I need to know she will be extremely taken care of and loved in my stead, I view her as a daughter. She needs at least hour walks daily, I do this at sun set in the tamer weather times of year and once my hand can be placed on the pavement in summer times. She requires daily brushing and monthly bathing. She likes to talk but she is not as annoying as husky’s I’ve seen online unless left alone I have so much more to say but reached limit

Story
My name is Odin, and though I may not command the thunder or ride across the sky on an eight&#226&#128&#145legged steed, I do carry a spark of old Nordic magic in my heart. I’m a husky–German shepherd mix with a noble spirit, a loyal soul, and one eye that sees the world a little differently—just like the great All&#226&#128&#145Father himself. Some say that’s how I got my name. Maybe I was born this way, maybe something happened long ago, but it doesn’t slow me down one bit. In fact, I like to think it gives me character… and a touch of myth. My journey began in Yuma, Arizona, where I wandered the mortal realm as a stray. I wasn’t searching for battle or glory—just a place to belong. The kind humans at the shelter took me in, gave me food, safety, and a chance to rest my paws. When no one came to claim me, fate stepped in and carried me north to Central Arizona Animal Rescue. Now I wait here, hopeful and ready, dreaming of the day my forever family appears like a prophecy fulfilled. Let me tell you who I am, from one adventurer to another. I’m a strong, handsome boy with a thick coat, a proud stance, and a heart full of devotion. I love going for walks—truly love it. Every scent on the wind is a story, every tree a message, every path a new quest. If you enjoy exploring the world, I’ll gladly be your companion, trotting beside you with my tail high and my spirit bright. I share my kennel with a lovely female shepherd, and we get along like old friends around a fire. We play, we rest, we keep each other company. I’m good with people too—friendly, social, and eager to bond. I might be a bit much for very small children, not because I mean any harm, but because I’m a big, enthusiastic guy with a lot of energy and heart. A home with space—a yard where I can stretch my legs, sniff the breeze, and feel the sun on my fur—would suit me perfectly. Despite my grand name and heroic lineage, I’m not complicated. I’m neutered, current on all my vaccinations, and microchipped so I’ll never be lost to the realms again. I’m healthy, happy, and ready to start the next chapter of my saga with someone who sees me not as a stray or a mystery, but as a loyal companion waiting to give his whole heart. I imagine a life where we walk together at dusk, where I rest at your feet after a long day, where I watch over your home like a guardian of old. I imagine learning your routines, your voice, your footsteps. I imagine belonging—not to a kingdom, but to a family. If you feel a tug in your chest, a whisper of destiny, a sense that maybe you are the one I’ve been waiting for, then I hope you’ll come meet me. I’ll greet you with a wagging tail, a hopeful gaze, and the quiet strength of a dog who has weathered storms and still believes in love. To set up an appointment to meet me, just send an email to mike@caaronline.org. Perhaps our fates are meant to cross, and perhaps the next great chapter of my story begins with you.   PLEASE e-mail (do not call) mike@caaronline.org for more information and to set up an appointment to adopt. Story
Unfortunately this sweet girls owner has had health issues and is at a point where they can not meet her needs. Shes very easy going, love snuggles, and plays well with other dogs. She was raised with two cats originally and did great with them as well. She can be a tad shy with new people but will warm up easy after some treats and snuggles. We want her to go to a home that will love her as much as she has been.

Story
Some dogs find their way to rescue. Rex was thrown into it — literally. At just six weeks old, Rex was thrown from a moving vehicle. He was tiny, frightened, and had a broken leg. But here's what that little puppy did: He survived. He healed. And somehow, through all of it, he never stopped being loving. Rex is a Malamute/Beagle mix born December 18, 2025, and he is proof that resilience and sweetness can exist in the same soul. Still just a pup, he has already been through more than most dogs will ever face — and yet his defining trait isn't what happened to him. It's how deeply affectionate he is with the people around him. His leg has fully healed. His spirit never needed to. Rex isn't looking for pity — he's looking for a couch to curl up on, a hand to lean into, and a family to call his own. He deserves someone who will look at him and say this one. This is the one we've been waiting for! If you're ready to give Rex the home he should have had from the very beginning, we'd love to hear from you. Rex is neutered, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. Go to www.ThePuppyMamma.com to submit and inquiry. Adoption Fee is $250
