Story
Meet Henry - Senior Siberian Husky Looking for a Loving Home We're sadly looking to rehome our sweet senior husky, Henry, due to an upcoming move where we won't have a yard. Henry is about 12 years old and has been with us for 9 wonderful years. He's a very chill, gentle, and quiet dog, though he does enjoy the occasional husky howl - especially in the mornings when he wants his treat. 😊 Henry is up to date on his rabies shot, recently had blood work done, and is in good health aside from some arthritis in his hind legs. We're hoping to find him a calm, loving home where he can enjoy his golden years, ideally with some outdoor space.

Story
Hello future best friend! My name is Kung Pao (yep, just like the dish—spicy, memorable, and a little bit different!). I’m searching for my forever home, and I think you might be the perfect match! Let me tell you a little bit about my pawsome self. I was picked up as a stray in Gila County back in December, but don’t worry—I’ve bounced back and I’m ready for a new chapter. While I was at animal control, all the staff fell head-over-heels in love with me (not to brag, but I was basically the office favorite). I even went to stay with a family for a while, but I turned out to be a little too big for their tiny toddlers. Oops! If you’re hoping for a companion who’s not bouncing off the walls 24/7, I’m your guy—I’m not one of those high-octane pups who need endless exercise. I’m perfectly content with a few fun romps and some quality playtime, then I’m all about chilling out by your side. I definitely have my playful spurts, but you won’t catch me demanding a marathon every day! Now, I’m looking for a home with someone who appreciates my unique style and silly antics. I’m a very unusual mix—think husky (that’s where I get my dazzling blue eyes!), a splash of brittany spaniel (just look at my soft white-and-tan coat and fancy plume tail!), and maybe a bit of bully breed for my big blocky head and sturdy build. At about 1 ½ years old, I’m just the right age to bring adventure and fun to your life without any of that puppy nonsense. Here are some of my best features: Super sweet personality: I’m friendly, affectionate, and love to make new pals! Staff favorite: Seriously, everyone at Gila County animal control gave me five-paw reviews! Great with other dogs: I love to romp and play with canine buddies. Knows basic commands: Sit, stay, and “look adorable” are all in my repertoire. Neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped: I’m healthy and ready to roll—no surprises here! A few mysteries about me: No one knows where my name came from, but I can totally learn a new one if you pick something you like better! I haven’t met any cats yet, so the jury’s out on that. Maybe we’ll discover together? If you’re looking for a furry friend with a big heart, soulful eyes, and the fluffiest tail around, I just know we’ll make a great team. Want to meet me and see if we’re a match? Send an email to mike@caaronline.org and set up a playdate—we can’t wait to meet you! Wags and wiggles, Kung Pao   PLEASE e-mail (do not call) mike@caaronline.org for more information and to set up an appointment to adopt. Do not e-mail us with a request to call you, if you have a question, please ask in the e-mail.   All dogs are adopted on a first come - first served basis. 🐾❄️ Meet Kaia — The Sweetest Snow Queen! ❄️🐾 Say hello to Kaia, a stunning 4-year-old Husky mix (born 7/7/2021) with the softest fur and the kindest heart. 💙 This beautiful girl was pulled from the shelter and has been on an incredible journey — she’s currently recovering from valley fever (don’t worry, she’s on meds and doing amazing!). Kaia is as loving and gentle as they come. She’s great with other dogs (big & small 🐶), crate trained, leash trained, and even knows her basic commands! 🎓 She’s a total people pup — loves snuggles, treats, toys, and being near her humans. 🧸💕 She might do well in an apartment setting if she gets her daily walks and playtime — but most of all, she needs a family who’ll give her the love she truly deserves. 🌟 Ready for soft cuddles, wagging tails, and a lifetime of love? 💌 Apply to meet Kaia today — your new best friend is waiting! 🐕✨ https://forms.gle/7dTuG94nZKd839c2A

Story
I know this girl is funny looking to be in a rottweiler rescue. She was found wandering in the streets on Glendale near the stadium with another dog (precious) by a Good Samaritan. He tried taking the girls home to live with him and his 27 cats. It turns out she is not good with cats so he could not keep them with him. She is terrified of everything but a very sweet girl. She will let you do anything to her but would prefer to be in her crate and left alone. She is neutral with other dogs. Doesn't seem to take confort ain them as isn't afraid of them . She minds her own business, and doesn't really engage with them. She as been leash trained and she will go through te motions of getting obedience trained. She is potty and crate trained. She will bolt if she has the opportunity. I took her in so she would not hurt te guys cats with the intent to find a rescue to take her in, because she is not a rottweiler and doesn't fit in here. However nobody has room for her or wants to take on a scared dog.  I know that scared dogs are the kind of dogs that some people do best with. If you are that person, we would love to talk with you.  Our Adoption Process... If you are interested in adopting one of our fun loving not so rotten rotties, you will be asked to fill out a questionnaire that will allows us to get to know you better and to make sure the dog you are looking at is a good fit for your family and lifestyle. You can access our questionnaire by going to our website, www.rottenrottie.com click on the forms tab, and fill out the questionnaire and submit it online. After we review your answers, if we feel that the dog that you are interested in, is not a good fit for you and your family, we may recommend a different rottweiler companion. After we determine which Rottweiler(s) is the best for you, we will set up a time so that you can meet him or her at their house, where they will feel most comfortable and act as they normally do. We will require a home check to make sure the dog is going to a good home.  An adoption contract will be signed to finalize the adoption and we do ask for a rehoming fee of $500 for most adults, $350 for most of our seniors 6 years and above for any rottweiler mix of any age (except puppies) . Our fees for puppies fluctuate depending on how much we had to invest into them or their litter, and weather they are purebred or a mix. These funds are necessary so that our organization may continue to rehome rottweilers. ALL of our dogs are sterilized, fully vaccinated and microchipped, heartworm tested negative and come with a collar and a leash. We have also addressed any injury or illness that they had when they came to us, or received in foster care. These problems will be disclosed to the adopter prior to adoption. please be advised that in almost all cases we will not adopt our dogs to folks who live in different states.  On rare occasion, if we feel that it is a PERFECT for both you and the dog, we sometimes will break that rule for our neighbors who live in Las Vegas. If you live in Vegas and would like us to consider you, please fill out an application.
