Story
Jessie is a 1-year-old spayed Husky and a rescue herself. She is incredibly sweet, loving, and forms strong bonds with her people. Jessie is great with kids and does well with other dogs. She enjoys playing outside, going on walks, and relaxing in the sun, but she’s just as happy lounging inside near her family. Unlike many Huskies, she is not overly vocal and is actually fairly quiet for the breed. She is crate trained and fully potty trained, and she understands her routine well. Because she is a rescue, Jessie does have some anxiety, which shows more as nervousness than aggression. She also does not do well with car rides and can become anxious during travel. With patience, reassurance, and a calm, stable environment, she settles in beautifully and shows just how affectionate and gentle she truly is. She deserves a loving home that can provide consistency and understanding.

Story
Meet Rosie! Born January 10, 2026, this sweet girl may be the smallest of the litter, 3 pounds, but she has plenty of personality. Rosie is spunky and playful, yet becomes wonderfully mellow the moment she is scooped up into your arms. She is learning so much each day and soaking up the world around her. Rosie is a true super mutt with DNA that includes Toy Poodle, Pomeranian, German Shepherd, Labrador Retriever, Husky, and Pit Bull. She is just starting potty training and will need patience and encouragement as she continues to learn. Rosie would do well in a home with other dogs or on her own. She would love a yard or plenty of outdoor time for exercise and exploring, and she would make a wonderful family dog or devoted companion. Rosie will be ready to go to her forever home on March 7th, but you can put your application in today! If you are interested in adopting, please visit the I.C.A.R.E. Dog Rescue website and complete an adoption application: www.icaredogrescue.org/ready-to-adopt Adoption fee includes: spay/neuter • shots up to date • micro-chip • fecal and vet check Breed and age are not guaranteed.February 25, 2026, 3:13 pm

Story
Meet Finn! Born January 10, 2026, this sweet boy truly feels like a little teddy bear in a puppy’s body. Finn has been thriving in his foster home with his siblings and brings a gentle, loving energy wherever he goes. He enjoys playing with his littermates but is a bit more sensitive and thoughtful, taking a moment to warm up before showing his full personality. Once he does, his bright blue eyes will absolutely melt your heart. Finn is a true “super mutt” with a beautifully unique DNA mix! His lineage includes American Staffordshire Terrier, American Pit Bull Terrier, Siberian Husky, German Shepherd Dog, Labrador Retriever, Chow Chow, Australian Cattle Dog, Poodle (Toy & Miniature), American Cocker Spaniel, Chihuahua, Golden Retriever, Pomeranian, Alaskan Malamute, Australian Shepherd, Border Collie, Mastiff, Boxer, Rottweiler, Doberman Pinscher, Boston Terrier, Keeshond, Maltese, and Lhasa Apso. With such a diverse mix, Finn’s adult size is truly a mystery! Momma Shiloh weighs just 25 pounds, so if Finn takes after some of the smaller breeds in his DNA like Poodle, Pomeranian, Chihuahua, Maltese, or Lhasa Apso, he may stay on the smaller side. However, if he leans more toward his Shepherd, Husky, Retriever, or other working-breed relatives, he could grow into a medium or even larger-sized adult. Right now, Finn weighs 5 pounds, and we’ll continue watching him grow to see which direction he heads! Personality-wise, he may inherit intelligence and a love for activity from his Shepherd, Husky, and Cattle Dog relatives. His Retriever and Spaniel genes may shine through in friendliness and eagerness to please. The terrier and working-breed influence could give him confidence and devotion, while his Poodle and companion-breed lineage may add sweetness and strong bonding tendencies. Finn is beginning potty training and will need patience, structure, and positive reinforcement as he grows. With consistency and love, he has all the potential to become a wonderful, well-rounded family companion. Finn would thrive in a home with another dog or as your one and only. Because of his possible working-breed mix and intelligence, an active family and/or a yard where he can play and explore would be a great fit. Finn will be ready for his forever home on March 7th, and applications are being accepted now. If you are interested in adopting, please visit the I.C.A.R.E. Dog Rescue website and complete an adoption application: www.icaredogrescue.org/ready-to-adopt Adoption fee includes: spay/neuter • shots up to date • micro-chip • fecal and vet check Breed and age are not guaranteed.February 25, 2026, 4:42 pm
