Spayed or Neutered,
Story
London is a beautiful 1 year old Siberian husky with stunning blue eyes. We trained her to sit, stay, and come. We also had her spayed, house trained, and dewormed so she’s ready to go! She is very intelligent and learns quickly because she is very food motivated. She is happy and well behaved and loves attention and cuddles. We rescued her from Downey Animal Control where they were going to euthanize her due to overcrowding. She is a wonderful dog that we are lucky enough to foster for the past few months. However, even though she doesn’t shed, I am very allergic to the dander she brings in from our walks and can no longer take care of her. She should go to a home with a yard as she loves to run and has zoomies as most happy puppies do, a very active owner that can walk her everyday and take her on adventures, and should go to a home with no other pets as we have not seen how she is with other dogs. She is a wonderful dog and will make any family very happy.

Story
Koda is a fun, sweet, loving 6-year-old Husky Mix and is approximately 50 pounds. He is neutered, crate trained, and house broken, up to date with vaccines, and is very healthy. Koda is great with people and loves all the belly rubs he can get! He loves to cuddle up and let you pet him all day long! He's unfortunately not good with other dogs. He is located in Orange County CA currently, and we'd be willing to get him transported to his potential new home and facilitate any meet ups. This is incredibly difficult, and we are hoping to find a good home for him and not have to go to a shelter. Adoption Fee: $0

Say hello to Clay! He`s a handsome young husky that`s got all the charm and goofiness that huskies are known for! He`s got plenty of energy and will love an active home that would be able to provide him with plenty of physical and mental stimulation. With his young age he`ll definitely need his basic training reinforced to be able to become a great new addition to the home.

Story
Togo is a 4 year old Siberian husky. He’s very energetic he likes to play and run around a lot. I don’t have space or time to play with him. I’m looking for someone who had a gated backyard or gated front lawn he can roam around in so he can run around whenever he wants he’s used to sleeping outside since it’s fresh you can try training him as an indoor dog thats up to you. He’s friendly with other people he just likes to jump on them and smell them but if he barks at them hold him back he could possibly bite. Also if he picks something off the floor like food DO NOT REACH FOR IT, do not try to take it away from him if it’s already in his mouth HE WILL BITE you it is best to get him trained first, sadly I didnt have the time to. Another important information is that he has epilepsy seizures I want someone who will be a little more attentive with him. He loves belly scratches and ear scratches. Also I’d like to visit him whenever possible.

I met Daysi one day at night when I returned from work, about 3 months ago, she doesn't have a chip, nor did she have a license plate, I expected someone to look for her but it wasn't like that, I live in an apartment and she needs a little more space and especially time since my work schedule doesn't allow me to go out for a walk

Story
Birthday: March, 2019 Weight: 50lbs **If the fee is the issue, fill out an application and we can work it out. ** It is becoming difficult to keep her - Dont want to surrender her to shelter PLEASE SHARE Meet Skye! This smart, sweet, loving girl is a ball of energy who also has the ability to be incredibly reserved and chill once she is comfortable. She is house trained, crate trained and much less vocal than your typical husky, she won’t even howl if you howl around her, she will just give you a head tilt. Her head tilts are the CUTEST!! She is very good on walks and does not pull. Skye knows: “sit”, “stay”, “lay down”, “leave it” and she gets the command “Fix it” if her leash is under her leg. She gets VERY excited by other dogs which can be off putting to the other dogs but with proper socialization they can be the best of friends. Works well with other friendly, high energy dogs. Comes with crate, vaccines, labs, and accessories to get you started

Story
Hello this is scar the full bread Siberian husky. He will be 5 years old on July 18, 2024. Scar is a friendly dog to people he trusts. He doesn’t get along too well with other dogs but it is possible with a lot of patience. Scar requires a new home with someone with A LOT of patience. Though he is a tough breed I want him to find the perfect home preferably someone who is active adventurous or who has a lot of property. He knows many tricks, really smart dog, he’s good being indoors and outdoors. Scar has a bit of behavioral issues like Being dog reactive Likes to pull on leash a lot on walks but its manageable He can be very dominant towards other dogs, He can adjust to anything the main issue is he is dog reactive but can be fixed with practice. Having a patient active new home is very important to me and is best for him. Overall he is a very cute friendly loving dog with lots of energy. It is best for scar to have a new home with someone who is patient.

Meet Triscuit, a bundle of joy that'll make your world a whole lot brighter. With her infectious enthusiasm, boundless energy, and love for everyone she meets, Triscuit is the perfect companion for anyone seeking a furry friend who'll never fail to put a smile on their face. While her playful spirit is evident in her love for running, fetch, and other outdoor activities, Triscuit's true passion lies in exploring the world around her. Given her love for sniffing out new sights, sounds, and scents, Triscuit would thrive with an active family that gives her plenty of outdoor time. Beyond her playful and adventurous nature, Triscuit is also a remarkably well-behaved dog. She's eager to please, knows basic commands, and is potty trained. She's quiet, loving to everyone and everything, and would make a great family dog.

Story
Meet Blu! He is a social and friendly boy who loves to meet new people! He has shown some interest in other dogs but is a bit too much for feline friends. He has lots of fun energy but could use some help learning how to let out that energy in fun and appropriate ways. He would do best in a home where everyone is over the age of 12 to help manage his energy levels and work on his basic training. He would also have to go to a home without cats due to his history of not being able to coexist with them. He has been awarded a Goodpup Scholarship, which is one-on-one training at no cost to the adopter!

Sammy IS AVAILALBE (updated 03-04-2024).To meet any of our dogs you must first complete our online adoption application on our website. For more information and the adoption application for Sammy, please visit our website belowhttp://www.coastalgsr.org/dog_profile.php?ID=22667&name=SammySammy was found wandering alone, wearing a black harness attached to a white leash. People had previously seen him being walked by an elderly man near Del High Park, but no one could find that gentleman and Sammy was taken to the shelter. He was checked in, given an impound number of #A1818905, and sat there waiting for his family to find him. His time was running out, no one came for him, and the shelter had now given him a euthanasia date. We rescued Sammy and put up signs in the area in which he was found, hoping his owner would see them, but no one has responded. This super fluffy guy with the biscuit paws is thought to be around 4-5 years old and isnâ&#194&#128&#194&#153t a high maintenance diva. Heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s been through so much already and we would love to be able to let him adjust inside a wonderful foster (or adoptive) home. Right now, heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153d do best as the only dog.The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.March 4, 2024, 6:16 am
