Story
We are heartbroken to have to rehome our rescue dog, but it has become necessary for the safety and well-being of everyone in our home. We rescued her 2 years ago when she was about to be put down. She has not gotten along with our other dog and has shown some aggression in the past, which has become more difficult to manage now that we have a baby. She has come a long way after being in our care and hasn’t had any aggression in over a year. Despite these challenges, she truly is a loving, loyal, and playful dog who thrives on attention and one-on-one companionship. She deserves a calm, stable home with someone who can give her the time, patience, and love she needs. In the right environment, she has so much potential to be a wonderful companion.

Story
Sunny was abandoned on a busy road near our rescue kennel. Volunteers scrambled to get her out of Harm’s way and brought her to safety. Sunny had no collar, chip or tags, and no one responded to our FOUND postings and posters. The local shelter is not taking in found dogs due to overcrowding, so with nowhere to go, Sunny is in the care of GSROC. She is a sweet and happy husky mix who wants to make friends. Typical of her breed, Sunny needs a family that will give her plenty of exercise to keep her active body and mind focused in healthy directions.

Much like Gatsby himself, Jay the husky is handsome and polite.  He’s an approx 7 years young Husky, who loves frolicking in his baby pool and enjoys head scratches.  Unlike the Great Gatsby, Jay and Daisy end up together in this Mutts in Need love story.  Jay and Daisy (also available for adoption) were abandoned at the vet’s office in Riverside and sat in boarding before their rescuer reached out to us for help. Knowing we had to keep them together, we took them in under our care.  If you’d like to foster or adopt this dashing fellow, please apply on our application. https://www.muttsinneed.org/adoption-application.htmlNovember 3, 2024, 7:15 pm

He loves playing with other dogs and once he warms up, he will solicit attention from people. You’ve really won him over when he asks for belly rubs and that won’t take long , if you give him a couple of minutes.  We’d love to get Winter in a home with another outgoing dog and a family that will continue to introduce him to more positive experiences and love on him.  Apply to adopt Winter at https://www.muttsinneed.org/adoption-application.html  November 3, 2024, 7:15 pm

Lala is approx 2.5years old & around 55 pounds of fun. She loves people and gets along great with dogs. Her favorite things are: going on walks, flirting with the boys, playing dress up, jumping in the baby pool & running around.    We cannot believe someone turned in this beauty to a shelter. You can’t help but smile when you’re with her. If you would like to meet this bundle of fun please fill out an application.  Because she is a husky you must have a secure yard or be in an apt.     https://www.muttsinneed.org/adoption-application.htmlNovember 20, 2024, 2:05 am
