Little Beatrice was quite shy when she came down with her siblings, but she has come out of her shell, and loves being in a home with food and air conditioning! She is gentle and sweet, and would do well with just about everyone. She loves to snuggle with her people and play with her siblings. Beatrice has a beautiful soul; she is not insistent or overbearing, and she just enjoys being in comfort. She is about 9/10 weeks old and is agile and intelligent. Where are all the husky lovers? Leo is such a handsome boy and can't wait to get out of the shelter and find his next home! He might enjoy living with another canine companion, but to help ensure it's the right fit, we are recommending a dog intro here at the shelter. Let us know if you have a pup and are interested in Leo and we're happy to facilitate that introduction!

Story
Vista is a pretty husky girl! She will love the opportunity to explore Colorado this summer with her new family (as long as it's not too hot for her thick husky fur!). Vista did not appreciate the company of other animals in her previous home, so HSBV will only rehome her to a family without cats or other dogs. Additionally, Vista is recommended a home without young children.

Story
Dusty is the sweetest, gentlest, most affectionate guy with the best disposition. He's 39 pounds, a gorgeous tri-color boy with brown tones and with blue/green heterochromia eyes. His ideal home would be an active home with runners or hikers looking for an adventure buddy. Whatever you’re doing, he’s totally down. He would be a great family dog as he absolutely adores kids and babies. My daughter accidentally fell on his face once, and he didn’t flinch. He’s absurdly soft and loves to snuggle. At 3, he’s still got a lot of puppy in him. The good news is he’s past the chewing & potty training phase and every day he becomes calmer and more confident. He is fully trained, including crate-trained. He knows basic commands and is housebroken. Some things to work on might be adjustments to his leash training and desensitizing him to things that get him excited. But honestly, he is the perfect candidate for someone who doesn’t want the work and time commitment of raising a puppy (which can be a full-time, sleepless gig!). He’s a young spry dog that’s ready to join you whether it’s on the trails or at the brewery. He needs a lot of exercise and loves going on long runs on a frequent basis. He is also very smart and would do well with a home that’s willing to give him plenty of attention and activities. Although he’s shown to be on our couch in one of these photos (whoops), he’s since been trained to stay off couches and beds. He is healthy and up to date with all vaccines. He is hilarious and, like a lot of huskies, sings when he’s happy and can be vocal with his feelings. He could use some additional work containing that excitement sometimes but has shown a lot of improvement since we’ve had him. He is friendly and very playful with most other dogs, (but it’s always good to go slow at those first interactions). He has been boarded and groomed before and also been to dog parks and did well. He loves his older foster brother and has learned so much from him. He would do well in a home with other dogs, but we could also see him being extremely happy as the only dog in the home so that he could get his undivided attention. Who is ready for unconditional love?   To meet this handsome fella, please put in an application at www.eapl.com. His adoption fee is $375.July 26, 2024, 8:27 pm
