Mac and Diesel were left by their owner. I do not have the means or space to take care of them. They are very playful and cuddly! Loves to be outdoors and crate trained. They have crates to come! Big babies!

Story
Ezra is a happy-go-lucky boy with energy to spare and a big, friendly heart to match! This fun-loving pup is always ready for action — whether it’s running, playing, or zooming around just because he can. He would thrive in an active home that can help him burn off some of that enthusiasm. Ezra loves to run and play, and one of his favorite pastimes is sprinting up and down the fence line with his doggy neighbors, just having the best time. Beyond all that energy, he’s a very good boy. He knows some basic commands, is eager to please, and absolutely adores people. If you’re looking for a friendly, playful companion to keep you moving and smiling, Ezra might just be your perfect match. We estimate Ezra to be about 1-2 years old. All dogs and puppies come spayed and neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fees are $75.00 for adult dogs and $100.00 for puppies at the time of adoption. Our adoptions are done by approved applications, so you must apply and be approved before being able to meet any of our dogs or puppies. To be approved, you can apply online at: https://www.storycountyiowa.gov/1486/Adoption-Application or you can apply in person. Applications can take a few business days to be approved and you will be emailed with communications regarding your application.

Story
- Playful guy who loves pets and attention; loves to be busy and connect with people through play and other activities - Knows sit, stay, shake, down and come and loves learning with treats - Does best with a harness on walks - Young, noisy or busy children may be too much for him; would benefit from a more mature home that can help him settle and work on calm behaviors - Can be socially awkward around other dogs (dog intro required) The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label. Primary Color: Black Weight: 57 Age: 4yrs 6mths 4wks

Story
- Goofy, energetic boy who loves giving kisses and playing with rope toys and squeaky toys - May prefer to explore and do his own thing here in the shelter, but will likely open up more once he's in a home environment and has had time to decompress - Knows sit - Does best with a harness on walks - Was mostly housetrained in his previous home but would occasionally have accidents - Not a fan of crowds or loud noises and would seek out his family for comfort - Prefers not to be disturbed while sleeping or resting; needs an adults-only home right now - Tends to be socially awkward and a linebacker-type player with other dogs; will likely do best with a select group of rough-and-tumble dog friends with a similar play style (dog intro required) - Has lived with cats and has generally coexisted with them, although he had been known to engage in rough play behaviors, like pawing and mouthing; may do OK with a confident, dog-savvy cat after a slow introductionThe ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. Story
Princess is kind of a misleading name for me.... Cause I am a QUEEN!! I love all my "subjects" four legged and two legged :) i came from the pound, where I was kind of like a Cinderella princess..... I looked very "ruff".... my eyes were dull and scared and my fur was not white or floofy, like it is now! And boy was I SKINNY :( But NOT ANYMORE!! I am now the Princess I was meant to be! I have a glowing white floofy coat, I have the confidence and love to give out and receive... AND I am ready for you and your family to love FuREVER!! I will give you and your family so much love and fun for life! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)
