To schedule a time to meet this dog, please email meetme@arl-iowa.org.---- Wants to be best friends with everyone she meets and likes to be petted once she feels comfortable - Likes chasing balls and will also keep your yard free of rabbits - Her foster family has affectionately nicknamed her "Ferret" because she's long and skinny and jumps in their laps like a ferret - Knows sit and likes treats - Has been doing pretty well with potty training, although her foster family said she may have accidents if she's not let out at bedtime - Used to sleeping in her crate at night and does well in her crate when her foster family is away - Can be a little nervous on car rides - Has been known to jump 6-foot fences, so please plan on supervising her or having her on a leash when outdoors to keep her safe and secure - Has lived with kids in her foster home - Has done well with other dogs in her foster home and likes to play, but will also let them know with a grumble when she's done playing; may be unsure of some dogs (dog intro recommended) - Needs a home with no cats or small animals - she's just too interested in chasing them This pet qualifies for our 7-day Foster-to-Adopt program.
