Story
Gator was surrendered due to change in the family circumstances. He is 6 years old and approx 80 lbs. He is such a well behaved and friendly guy. He loves humans, but he isn't sure around toddlers so kiddos over 5 please! He has done well with the dogs in his foster home. He is potty and kennel trained although the kennel isn't required after settling in. He grew up on a farm and protected the yard from squirrels and raccoons, so we are also looking for a home with no small animals! If you think Gator could be a good fit, please fill out an application at www.k911foundation.com/adopt. July 14, 2026, 3:16 pm

Story
Zena is a 40 lb husky mix. We think shes about 5 or 6 now. She's gorgeous and SO sweet once you are in her circle. She had a bit of trauma when her owner was arrested and she found herself and her dog roommate at the local pound. The shelter staff adopted her "sister" but she still needed saving. She is so incredibly loyal and funny.   She just wants to stay home, in her yard or neighborhood, with her person. Kids, new places, and too much going on make this girl anxious, so she really needs a quiet home as an only pet.    She loves leash walks and car rides. She loves to play fetch with her foster mom and is so cute to watch her play with her stuffed/squeaky toys. Zena is a big fan of naps and the comforts of being in her bubble!    Apply to meet Zena at www.k911foundation.com/adoptJuly 14, 2026, 3:16 pm

Story
Very affectionate and loving, just nervous around children, especially toddlers. Knows how to sit and shake. Does like to dig. Sensitive to touch underneath of neck, will have to go slow for him to get used to you touching him there. Has played with other dogs his size just fine. Has not been around cats. He’s a big guy and I am unable to walk him anymore. I also have a two year old grandchild that I watch.

Story
Aurora is 5 years old. She was born on January 10, 2021. She is a purebred Siberian Husky. She is a very sweet girl but is super lazy. She likes to sunbathe outside and she does enjoy playing with other dogs. We are looking for someone who can give her lots of attention. She does have bladder issues, but does not have accidents unless her bladder is full. We do have urinary incontinence medication. She needs to be let outside often. She does need frequent grooming as well just to help manage the hair but she loves being brushed! She loves snuggles, chewing on bones, and super yummy treats! She is the sweetest girl and is great with kids. She has lived in a home with two cats as well and enjoys playing with them. She does well outside of a crate, she has a tendency to break out of them. She likes to have noise or another animal to play with, but is also a good solo dog! Unlike most huskies, Aurora doesn't use her voice much. It's a special treat when we hear it!

Story
☯️ Judy and Athena ☯️ are much like the eastern philosophical idea of yin and yang, the process of the universe: together there is harmony, yet they are each distinct forces. When you need to be in charge of things or get stuff done 📋🔨 Judy will be right by your side to keep everything and everyone in line 👩‍🏫 And when you’re ready to tone it down or relax,🍹✨ let Athena’s happy spirit be your guide to contentment. 🌻🌛 Judy, ☯️ a 5-year-old Cattle Dog mix who weighs 52 pounds, can come off as bossy and a bit aloof, but she warms to people soon enough, and it turns out she loves attention and is affectionate. She’ll bark when she’s unsure about something, which seems to be her way of voicing a concern or asking a question. Athena, ☯️ a 6-year-old Pomsky (Pomeranian + Siberian Husky) who weighs 48 pounds, is a glass-half-full gal who sees the good in everyone instantly. She has a pleasant spark of energy that she brings to her home and people. The ladies follow basic commands well, like sit and leave it, and they do well on the leash. They’re happy to go on car rides or explore wherever you’re headed. At home, they like to play ball or chew on buffalo horns or antlers. They’re also great playmates with other dogs for any type of play. Judy barks when she plays; she must like telling everyone how much fun she’s having 😆 At night, they find their own spots to sleep in the living room. They are both crate trained and house trained. Athena and Judy would do best with a fenced yard. They are both spayed, vaccinated and microchipped, as well as current on heartworm/flea/tick preventatives. Their adoption fee is $175 for both. Meet & greets will be scheduled with approved adopters. 🐕Apply to adopt at PawsitiveTailsKC.org🐕

Story
Hi there! I’m Bodie! I’m a super fun, goofy, and active Husky! Even though I’m 2 years old and 40 pounds, I like to think of myself as a little bit of a puppy still. Why, you ask? Because I’m SUCH a good boy! I know how to sit and lie down, and I'm already crate-trained. I LOVEEEEE toys, chasing toys, playing with toys, running after toys…did I mention I love toys? What can I say? I’m just a guy who likes to be active and stay busy! That’s probably how I’m able to maintain my handsome physique! 💪🐶 Would you like a walking or running partner? Because that sounds like a lot of fun to me! It helps me keep my legs strong and buff! People will admire us as we pass them by each day! They might even whistle at us! I mean, HELLO, just look at my eyes, BOL! 😂 Now you might still be wondering why I said I’m a little puppy like, especially after you’ve seen all the awesome things I’m interested in! Well…it’s because I'm still working on my house training just a bit, and I can be a little mouthy when I play. No, no, no…I’m not going to backtalk or bite you, silly! It’s just that when I play, I’m still learning to be gentler with my teeth! 😁 It might even be best for my furever home to have older kids instead of younger ones, just to be safe. BUT, if you’re willing to work on this with me, I’m pretty sure I could be ok with some smaller ones too! I really do like kids! I also like other dogs too. If you’re ready for an adventurous and active new BFF, go ahead and submit an application with Pawsitive Tails and put my name on it! Woofs and kisses, Bodie! ❤ Bodie is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines and heartworm/flea/tick preventatives. His adoption fee is $175. Meet-and-greets will be scheduled with approved adopters. 🐕Apply to adopt at PawsitiveTailsKC.org🐕
