Story
Gator was surrendered due to change in the family circumstances. He is such a well behaved and friendly guy. He loves humans! He isn't sure around toddlers so kiddos over 5 please! He has done well with the dogs in his foster home. He is potty and kennel trained although the kennel isn't required after settling in. He grew up on a farm and protected the yard from squirrels and raccoons, so we are also looking for a home with no small animals! If you think Gator could be a good fit, please fill out an application at www.k911foundation.com/adopt. September 2, 2025, 10:33 am

Story
Zena is a 40 lb husky mix. She's gorgeous and SO sweet once you are in her circle. She has a little stranger danger and probably needs a no cat, and no chicken home. She would be great as an only dog too. She can get skittish with people standing, walking toward her, certain arm placements at first as well. She just wants to stay home, in her yard or neighborhood, with her person. She loves leash walks and car rides but doesn't like going into places. "Peopling" is low on the enjoyment list. As soon as we go on our walks she's so peaceful and happy.    Apply to meet Zena at www.k911foundation.com/adoptDecember 12, 2024, 8:44 pm

Story
Meet Kona! He’s 3 years old and the sweetest husky you’ll ever meet. Kona has lived in a house with older children and other dogs, but would do best in a home with NO small animals or cats. Kona has no problem letting you take the lead on walks, loves cuddling, and wants to be where-ever you are! This giant floof will get through any sized hole in the fence, so an experienced handler and secure yard is a MUST.

Story
Named Pierce, because of his piercing blue eyes, he’s much more than just a pretty face. Pierce is an 8-month-old puppy whose foster family has fed his intellect with lots of enriching experiences and focused training. He is a Siberian Husky mix who’ll probably end up 50-55 pounds full-grown, and he’ll have a lot to offer his future forever family. Already, Pierce knows commands like sit, down, off, out, take a break, and leave it. He’s also working on wait, heel, get it, give, and watch me. Add to that, he walks well on a leash. Talk about a terrific puppy! He’s right at that great age, where he’s not a tiny, needy baby, but he’s still young enough that he’ll adapt to his family and grow up together with them. He could be your lake dog in training this winter, because he LOVED playing in the water when it was warm out, and he’ll probably be a swimmer. He gets along great with people and especially with other dogs, so he’s ready to pawty when you bring all your friends together. He’ll bring the energy if you bring the treats. Pierce is a goofy boy who makes his foster family laugh with his antics. Feeding time is sooo exciting for him, and he’s a silly goose. But when he hears one of his commands, he is all ears, all about pleasing his people and being a good boy. See what we mean? Not just another pretty face here. Not gonna lie, those eyes make it hard to tell him no. He is house-trained and sleeps peacefully all night in his crate. He’s ready to impress you with his knowledge and generally lighten the mood. Who doesn’t want that? Pierce is good with kids, but depending on the child, he may topple very young kids in all his enthusiasm. Pierce's adoption fee is $275 and includes his neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccines, and flea/tick/heartworm preventatives. Meet & greets and time to share some treats (Pierce hopes!) will be scheduled with approved adopters from PawsitiveTailsKC.org. 🖤🤎❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍💜💙💚💛🧡❤️🤎🖤 APPLY @ PawsitiveTailsKC.org 🖤🤎❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍💜💙💚💛🧡❤️🤎🖤

Story
Hi, I'm Cranberry! At 2 months old, I am Spicy, Sparkly & Full of Holiday Energy ❤️💚. I’m expected to grow into a medium-sized girl around 30–40 lbs, but my personality already fills the room like the holidays do. I’m a little playful spitfire who loves to run, wrestle, and zoom around until I wear myself out. When I’m done playing, l will curl up on my bed or in my kennel…although if there’s space in your bed, I would not say no. Snuggles, kisses, and cozy time are some of my favorites! I'm working very hard on my housetraining skills and doing great, if I don't say so myself. I sleep in my kennel at night, and I’m crate-trained. I’m also working on learning “sit” and figuring out leash-walking. Practice makes perfect, right? I get along great with dogs, cats, chickens, and kids, and I love toys of all kinds! Like any Husky mix, I do shed (consider it my way of decorating), and I’ll need daily playtime or walks to keep my festive energy in check. My foster family is teaching me to keep my puppy habits in check with positive reinforcement and redirection. I feel like I'm a good listener and I'm catching on! If you’re looking for a pup who brings lots of kisses, and some sparkle & shine, I will be the perfect Cranberry on top of your holiday season! Don't let those falalalalas of the holiday season distract you! Go hit that apply button to meet me today! Cranberry's adoption fee is $275. She will come spayed, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipped, and current on preventatives for heartworm/flea/tick. 💚❤️💚❤️💚❤️💚❤️💚❤️💚❤️💚❤️💚❤️💚 APPLY @ PawsitiveTailsKC.org 💚❤️💚❤️💚❤️💚❤️💚❤️💚❤️💚❤️💚❤️💚
