Story
Riri is a spunky high energy dog that is need of a home that is calm without a lot of new exciting guests. She tolerates other animals but prefers to be on her own with her humans. She loves to cuddle, lay in her crate, and loves a warm soft place to lay. She loves kids but a little too much. As she will jump on everyone when she first sees them. And has a tendency to try and lick faces. Sometimes in her over excitement she can nibble a little when doing this like a love pinch. She can become food, toy, space, and human territorial so there needs be caution with children and small animals. Riri needs lots of walks multiples a day to help with her behaviors. Does best leashed with a chest clip harness to help contain her excitement for the walk and the occasional squirrel. Riri has had instances of getting too rough with smaller dogs.Although she has some behaviors that would require a lot of patience and work, she is a love bug who just needs the right fit. She wants to be a good girl.

Story
Gator was surrendered due to change in the family circumstances. He is 6 years old and approx 80 lbs. He is such a well behaved and friendly guy. He loves humans, but he isn't sure around toddlers so kiddos over 5 please! He has done well with the dogs in his foster home. He is potty and kennel trained although the kennel isn't required after settling in. He grew up on a farm and protected the yard from squirrels and raccoons, so we are also looking for a home with no small animals! If you think Gator could be a good fit, please fill out an application at www.k911foundation.com/adopt. September 17, 2026, 6:09 pm

Story
Zena is a 40 lb husky mix. We think shes about 5 or 6 now. She's gorgeous and SO sweet once you are in her circle. She had a bit of trauma when her owner was arrested and she found herself and her dog roommate at the local pound. The shelter staff adopted her "sister" but she still needed saving. She is so incredibly loyal and funny.   She just wants to stay home, in her yard or neighborhood, with her person. Kids, new places, and too much going on make this girl anxious, so she really needs a quiet home as an only pet.    She loves leash walks and car rides. She loves to play fetch with her foster mom and is so cute to watch her play with her stuffed/squeaky toys. Zena is a big fan of naps and the comforts of being in her bubble!    Apply to meet Zena at www.k911foundation.com/adoptSeptember 17, 2026, 6:09 pm

Story
She is an 8-year-old Siberian Husky who has been part of our family for many years. She is independent, sassy, stubborn, and incredibly funny and goofy when she’s comfortable and thriving. She does well with other dogs and frequently goes to doggy daycare to socialize and run off some energy. As our toddler has become more active, she has become increasingly uncomfortable with the noise and unpredictability and has growled or occasionally snapped when overwhelmed. With another baby on the way, we feel our home is only going to become busier and that she would be happier in a quieter home without young children. She has also recently started having accidents in the house, which we want to be transparent about. We ultimately want a home where her happy, goofy personality can shine again. She’d do best without young children and with someone who will appreciate all the wonderful weirdness that comes with loving a husky.
