Story
She is an 8-year-old Siberian Husky who has been part of our family for many years. She is independent, sassy, stubborn, and incredibly funny and goofy when she’s comfortable and thriving. She does well with other dogs and frequently goes to doggy daycare to socialize and run off some energy. As our toddler has become more active, she has become increasingly uncomfortable with the noise and unpredictability and has growled or occasionally snapped when overwhelmed. With another baby on the way, we feel our home is only going to become busier and that she would be happier in a quieter home without young children. She has also recently started having accidents in the house, which we want to be transparent about. We ultimately want a home where her happy, goofy personality can shine again. She’d do best without young children and with someone who will appreciate all the wonderful weirdness that comes with loving a husky.

Story
I’m looking to find a loving, forever home for this sweet girl. I’m not completely sure of her breed, but she looks like a tiny Husky and has the cutest two different colored eyes! ❤️She is about 4 years old and has such a sweet, loving personality. She gets along great with other dogs and loves play. She’s also wonderful with people and absolutely loves attention, pets, and cuddles. She is not fully house-trained yet, but she is currently working on it and making progress. She’ll need someone who is patient and willing to continue helping her learn.I took her in because I wanted to help her, but I’ve realized that I’m not able to provide the time, space, and home that she truly deserves. This is not an easy decision, but I want to make sure she ends up somewhere she can be happy, loved, and cared for.She is a really sweet girl who deserves someone willing to give her the time and love she needs. ❤️

Hello,I need a good home for my dog preferably with kids because he’s such a playful dog. He is the most kind, loving and gentle dog I’ve ever known. He’s not food aggressive either. He deserves much attention. I have a busy schedule and can not give him that attention. He’s an all around amazing dog.

Story
With a name like “Jaya,” I have no option but to win! 🏆 Hey there, hi there, ho there! Jaya’s the name, and winning’s my game! 🥇 I'm looking for a house where I can put on my permanent pajamas—should someone be so lucky. 😉 My name means “victorious”, but I think whoever adopts me is the real winner! I am a 2-year-old Siberian Husky, and though my breed is “Husky”, my size is certainly not! 👌🏽I am a petite lady—probably between 40 and 50 pounds. If you’re looking for the total package, that’s me: beauty, brains, and brawn! 😍🧠💪🏽Speaking of packages, let’s talk about what kind of prize package you’ll win when you adopt me. -One Jaya-gigantic personality! My foster momma tells me I’m a “hoot!” I keep her laughing with the perfect balance of polite and ornery. 😅 -Two of the most beautiful eyes! You’ll never have to worry about coming up with an icebreaker when you have me around. People love to spark up a conversation about my one blue eye and one brown eye. 👀 -Four loving paws + one wagging tail! I love humans of all sizes and ages. My favorite thing is being with my family, and you will never doubt if I love you when you see my smiling face and happy tail. Did I mention I also get along with other dogs? 🐕 I haven't met a cat yet, so I'm not sure how I would like them. -A lifetime supply of loyalty and love. 💕 That’s a pretty great prize package! I am working on my leash skills and almost have them mastered. Plus, you can fire your cleaning company because I am house-trained and crate-trained! Talk about #Winning! 🧹🧼🧽🫧 Jaya is vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and spayed. She is also up to date on flea/tick/heartworm prevention! Her adoption fee is $175. Are you ready to secure your victory by adding Jaya to your family? If so, then race over to the finish line to fill out an app! Meet-and-greets will be scheduled with approved adopters. 🐕Apply to adopt at PawsitiveTailsKC.org🐕

Story
🐈🐈 Cat-friendly 🐈🐈 “Hey, handsome!” Winston hears that a lot, and it’s not hard to see why. He’s a 5-year-old Siberian Husky (around 46 pounds) with a rare piebald coat – lots of white, with bold patches that make him hard to miss. He has the personality to match. He’s incredibly affectionate, loves giving kisses, and is always up for a “chat” in his cute husky voice. 🗣️ Winston likes to keep tabs on what you’re up to and wants to be part of whatever’s going on (whether you invited him or not). 😄 He was found as a stray and likely didn’t have much structure before, but he’s adjusting well and showing just how sweet and easygoing he can be. He’s about 90% house trained, knows “wait,” and is just starting to learn the basics. Leash walking is new to him, so expect some pulling as he figures it out. He’s also just beginning to show interest in toys, which is pretty fun to watch him realize, “Oh wow, these are actually great.” 🧸 Winston does well with other dogs overall, though he may be selective and can sometimes guard toys or his person. He’s been around cats and may bark, but he’s not aggressive and can be redirected. He’d do best in a home that can offer patience, structure, and plenty of attention. A fenced yard would be ideal, and while he’s not a big fan of crates or getting into the car, he settles once he’s on the move. Right now, Winston is in heartworm treatment, so he’s keeping things pretty low-key for a few more weeks while his body heals. He’s done a great job staying calm, and once he’s cleared, he’ll be ready to ease into a more active routine. Winston is a real stunner – sweet, slightly quirky, and still learning, but already knows how to love. ❤️ Winston’s adoption fee is $175, which includes his neuter, vaccines, microchip and heartworm/flea/tick preventatives. Apply to meet him at PawsitiveTailsKC.org. Meet-and-greets will be scheduled with approved adopters. 🖤🤎❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍💜💙💚💛🧡❤️🤎🖤 APPLY @ PawsitiveTailsKC.org 🖤🤎❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍💜💙💚💛🧡❤️🤎🖤

Story
Gator was surrendered due to change in the family circumstances. He is 6 years old and approx 80 lbs. He is such a well behaved and friendly guy. He loves humans, but he isn't sure around toddlers so kiddos over 5 please! He has done well with the dogs in his foster home. He is potty and kennel trained although the kennel isn't required after settling in. He grew up on a farm and protected the yard from squirrels and raccoons, so we are also looking for a home with no small animals! If you think Gator could be a good fit, please fill out an application at www.k911foundation.com/adopt. August 30, 2026, 1:48 pm
