Story
Meet Ives! He is a beautiful 2 year old Siberian Husky that loves people, playing, and would make an excellent running/walking buddy. He's both house and crate trained, and great with dogs and kids. Don't miss the chance to make this special boy part of your family! Note: Ives is very talented and can jump over a 4' fence, so either a 6' fence and/or tie-out would be needed.

Story
Meet Echo! She came to us from an animal hoarding situation where she lived with 15 other dogs. Her journey has shaped her into a gentle and kind soul, though she is initially shy around new people and animals. However, once she finds comfort and trust, her true playful and affectionate nature shines through. She does well with other dogs, cats, birds, and even children. Echo's ideal home would include the company of other dogs, as their presence boosts her confidence and brings out the best in her. If you welcome Echo into your home, be prepared for a period of adjustment where she acclimates to her new surroundings. With patience and love, you'll witness this once-shy pup blossom into a happy and loving member of your family.

Story
Jackson is a 17 month old Siberian Husky mix. His original owner didn’t take very good care of him, and eventually our Outreach Team was able to get him to safety. He is a medium-sized dog with unusual brindle markings. He’s great with kids and good with other dogs. He’s completely potty trained and crate trained. Jackson is a little shy and will hold back at first. He needs people who will be patient with him while he gets comfortable so that he can show his real personality. He’s a sweet, friendly dog in search of a home of his own. Does Jackson sound like someone you would like to open your heart and home to? If you are interested in knowing more about him or perhaps would like to schedule a meet and greet with him, the first step is to complete & submit an adoption application. Story
I inquired Koda at 7 months, he will be 3 years old April 20th. He is a very energetic dog , he enjoys running, being outside, and the cold. We want him to go somewhere with a big yard, he loves going on walks and enjoys going on car rides! He is an indoor dog and kennel trained. I unfortunately can’t keep him due to having a new born. We noticed his behavior change being more jumpy and lunges towards the baby when she is playing or screaming. We have tried correcting him and haven’t had success. Unfortunately, she will be crawling soon and don’t want to risk anything.

Story
Lucy is an approximately 6 month old Husky mix. She is 33 pounds and is fully vetted, spayed and microchipped. Lucy is not yet potty-trained, but in all other ways is a good girl. Potty training would be easier with a crate and a fenced in yard. She has some normal puppy behaviors like chewing and jumping up. She is pretty good at sit and stay. She walks well on a leash. She gets along with kids, dogs and cats. Lucy is a sweetheart. She has tons of energy, loves to run and fetch and go for walks, but is also very mellow and will just lay and love you. Lucy loves to have the bridge of her nose scratched and to rest her little chin on your lap for pets. Lucy has great potential to be a wonderful dog for someone who has the time and desire to commit to teaching her to be her best self.

Story
Iris is 5 years old. She's extremely social and sweet. Whenever we take her to the vet, or groomer, everyone tells us how she's the sweetest husky they've ever met. We haven't met very many huskies, but we think she's super sweet. . We're reluctantly rehoming her because we have two human kids 2 year old and younger and we both have very busy jobs. Iris deserves a loving home where she can be walked (or taken to the dog park) daily and given lots of love. True to her breed, she's intelligent and athletic and obedient. She's pretty calm in the house, but loves to get her activity in.

Story
Bear is an adorable doggo with the CUTEST ears! He is a total sweetheart and does very well in his kennel. He does well with other dogs and loves to play, but he can play a little rough so he should be monitored when he's around other dogs. He is a fast learner, so we think he would take to training easily. He did well around his foster family's cat. Bear is the bestest boy and deserves to find his forever home!

Baby lion for adoption! Meet Simba! Simba is quite the sweet boy. He is a 1-2 year old Chow. He is kennel and potty trained. He has done great meeting new people, loves dogs, and has been great with the foster family's kids. He is playful and loves to chase the other dogs in the back yard, but also likes to come and flop down on the floor for a nap and some pets. We would prefer him to go to a home with experience with this breed or someone willing to research and learn about their behavioral needs. Apply today to meet Simba! If you are interested in meeting Simba, please fill out an application via our website at https://therescueproject.net/adoption-application and we will get back to you via email once your application has been reviewed.
