Story
Hi there, I’m Candy! I’m a 2-year-old husky mix with a big smile, a bigger heart, and enough energy to keep up with even the most adventurous humans. I came from an Indigenous reservation in South Dakota, and now I’m ready to start the next chapter of my life with a forever family of my very own. I’m an active girl who loves to run, play, explore, and make new friends. People? Love them. Other dogs? Absolutely — the more the merrier. If you’re looking for a buddy to join you on hikes, jogs, or just fun everyday outings, I’m your girl. If you think we might be a perfect match, submit an adoption application online so we can meet in person. I can’t wait to wag my way into your life.

Story
Snowy is a busy, extroverted guy with a contagious cheerful outlook. He is a Lab, Husky and Beagle mix born in rescue on March 14. He loves meeting new friends, whether they have 2 or 4 legs. Loves the water and would be in heaven to join his family on any beach or boating adventure. Trust us when we say he brightens each day and brings lots of laughter wherever he goes. Ready for a fun life, Snowy has a great head start! He's met kids, and spent lots of time with cats and several other dogs. He's great in the car, crates nicely, and is mastering potty training. He is ready to find a family that enjoys doing all the things and wants to incorporate him right in the middle. Snowy currently weighs about 21# and will be the perfect size for anything: road trips to see Grandma, hiking or camping with friends, backyard BBQs with the neighbors. His fosters are working with him on basic obedience commands and promise he will be the star pupil in his class. He's working on walking nicely on leash, seeing new sights and sounds, and experiencing the world. Ongoing socialization will ensure he can lead the life he was meant to. The best fit for Snowy is an active family who sees a dog as a 4-legged extension of the family. His ideal home has another fun-loving pup for him to pal around with, and they have a safely fenced space for playtime. Children old enough to understand how to redirect his puppy teeth are a good fit. Snowy can't wait to meet his forever family and dive right into his new, exciting life! He is being fostered in Minneapolis, MN. Snowy's adoption fee is $550 + MN sales tax (this includes his neuter). He is up to date on age-appropriate vaccines. He will be neutered and microchipped at the age of roughly 6 months. The cost of this procedure is included in his adoption fee. Upon adoption, all of our dogs go to their new homes with a collar and harness, leash, starter food, blanket, favorite toys & treats. They are current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. As a foster-based rescue, we do not have a central facility to visit. Meet and greets with specific dogs are arranged once your adoption application (not an inquiry through Petfinder) has been received, processed, and approved. We are located in Minnesota and adopt to an area 400 miles from Minneapolis/St. Paul.

Story
Sky is the sweetest girl with 2 different colored eyes like the husky breed. She has more husky traits than her sister Peanut who looks more Boxer. She is crate trained and goes in without asking and share a XL crate with her sis. She goes potty on a leash but not leash trained for walks. I am separated and don’t have my fenced yard which we miss!! She sleeps with us all nuzzled in with her sis and humans. She will bark at other dogs because not very socialized. They are smart and very trainable. They do know many tricks. I would love to see Sky/Peanut stay together because they are so easy together play hard and then nap. They are very close and love humans just as much. They are good with kids. We have 3 teens but depression is getting in the way of taking care of my dogs needs and I am too busy taking care of my kids needs and the dogs.

Story
Meet Sadie – The Soft-Hearted Sweetheart Who Just Wants to Love You Some dogs need constant excitement. Sadie is happiest simply being with the people she loves. This beautiful girl has a calm, gentle soul and an affectionate personality that's impossible not to adore. Whether she's relaxing on the couch, chewing on a favorite toy, enjoying a leisurely walk, or soaking up belly rubs, Sadie is content just spending time with her family. With her incredibly soft coat and laid-back personality, she's the kind of dog who brings peace wherever she goes. Sadie Loves: * Belly rubs * Cuddling * Car rides * Playing with other dogs * Playing with toys * Chewing bones * Napping * Quiet time with her people * Relaxing at home Sadie's Favorite Thing: Being close to her family. Sadie loves affection and happily accepts every cuddle, belly rub, and gentle scratch she can get. She's just as happy lounging beside you as she is joining you for a quiet walk or a relaxing afternoon adventure. A Gentle Soul: Sadie is wonderfully laid back and incredibly easy to live with. She enjoys walks and outings but doesn't need constant activity to be happy. She's perfectly content entertaining herself with a toy before curling up beside you for a nap. One of the things her foster loves most is how quietly Sadie communicates. She isn't a dog that barks just to hear herself bark. When she whines or lets out a bark, she's genuinely trying to tell you something. It's one of the many little things that makes her so special. Her foster describes her as "gentle, calm, and incredibly soft", inside and out. A Few Things to Know: * House trained with a consistent routine * Crate trained * Knows "Sit," "Down," and "Come" * Loves other dogs * Loves children * Would do best in a home without cats * Medium energy level * Friendly with everyone she meets * May jump up when excited * Can counter surf if tempting snacks are left unattended * Occasionally has selective hearing, especially if something interesting catches her attention Great Activities for Sadie: * Quiet neighborhood walks * Hiking adventures * Park visits * Coffee shop patios * Car rides * Running errands * One-on-one bonding time * Relaxing at home * Indoor enrichment Best Match: * First-time dog owners * Calm households * Family-friendly homes * Active adopters who also enjoy relaxing at home * Patient families * Homes without cats Three Words That Describe Sadie Best: ❤️ Gentle ❤️ Calm ❤️ Soft Foster Location: Chippewa Falls, WI **Meet & Greet Availability:** Sadie's foster is happy to meet approved adopters within approximately 30 minutes of their home. Sadie is the kind of dog who doesn't ask for much, just a family to love, a cozy place to nap, and someone willing to give plenty of belly rubs. In return, she'll give you unwavering loyalty, quiet companionship, and a heart full of unconditional love. If you're looking for a beautiful, affectionate companion with a calm spirit and the softest coat you've ever felt, Sadie may be the perfect addition to your family. Ready to meet Sadie?
