This Gal loves people and some dogs. She loves walks, hikes and playing with non destructive toys. She will do best in a home with very active family. and someone that with a securely fenced yard. A home that has experience with Husky exercise /enrichment needs is required. L & S Dog Diggity Rescue is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 800,000 homeless pets. We save homeless and abandoned dogs and find them loving forever homes in other areas, where pet homelessness is not epidemic. All of our pets are located here, in San Antonio, and we partner with rescues to provide transportation for our pets to their new homes. I was wandering on my own when a very kind family found me and brought me into their home to keep me safe until Animal Ark had room for me. I didn’t know what to expect, but I quickly learned that couches are soft, people are gentle, and life feels a whole lot better when you’re loved.While I stayed with them, I got to play with their two dogs, we had so much fun together. I also spent lots of time snuggling with their kids, who were 8 and 17. They made me feel like part of the family, and I did great with everyone.Now I’m at Animal Ark, and I’m hoping the next chapter of my life brings me something I’ve never had before: a forever home of my very own. I am really good with the command "sit", pretty good at "off", and working on "leave it" and "drop it". I often get so excited it's hard not to jump up and say hi and give kisses, but I'm working on it. I'm starting to enjoy walks. There's just SO much to smell and see that I have to be encouraged to keep moving forward, but I'm getting the hang of it.
