Meet Daisy! 🐾🌼Chihuahua and Husky Mix, Full of Love & Energy This 8-month old was originally adopted as a "Chihuahua" at 4 months old, as she has gotten older it turns out she's actually also very much part Husky, and she's got the personality to match! She's deeply affectionate and cuddly, incredibly sweet with people, and so far has gotten along great with other dogs too (she can be a little shy at first to warm up to them). My mom who adopted her is on very limiting disability and, with the best intentions, thought she was adopting a small Chihuahua - not realizing how much energy a Husky mix actually needs. She deserves an owner who can give her real exercise: long walks, runs, playtime, a yard to zoom around in.

We save homeless and abandoned dogs and find them loving forever homes in other areas, where pet homelessness is not epidemic. I’m still discovering the big world outside my home. New things can be a little intimidating at first, but I’m also SO curious! Every day I’m getting braver, learning more, and figuring out just how much fun this world can be.At my foster home, I’m doing great! I’m doing well with potty training when kept on a tight schedule, and I sleep through the night in my crate. I already know “sit." Sometimes I get SO excited to see people that I just have to jump up and give kisses—but I’m learning that all four paws are supposed to stay on the floor. Apparently humans have rules about these things.I’m learning to love walks! There is just SO MUCH to smell and see! Sometimes I need a little encouragement to remember that we're actually supposed to keep walking instead of investigating every single interesting thing, but I’m getting the hang of it.I’m also finding my voice! I’ve started experimenting with my bark and figuring out all the different things I might need to tell my humans about. I have important opinions, you know!Did someone say TREATS?!
