Story
If you're looking for a best friend who loves both adventures and lazy afternoons, Snow might just be your perfect match. This handsome 3-year-old Siberian Husky has a gorgeous all-white coat, a gentle heart, and an easygoing personality that makes him a joy to have around. Whether you're heading out for a hike, taking a road trip, or simply relaxing on the couch, Snow is happy to be by your side.Snow is independent in true husky fashion, but he has a sweet, affectionate side too. He loves stopping by for a quick cuddle before doing his own thing, and if he'd like a little extra attention, he'll gently place a paw on you or treat you to a little husky "talk." He's the kind of dog who enjoys being with his people without needing to be the center of attention every minute.Snow is house-trained, healthy, and has settled beautifully into foster care. After a few days of decompressing, he found his footing and now enjoys playing with his foster canine sibling. He gets along well with other dogs, has done great living with cats, and has been friendly with children. Because he's a strong, playful boy who sometimes likes to wrestle with his humans, he'd do best with older kids who can enjoy his playful nature. His energy level is moderate, making him a wonderful companion for an active family without needing constant exercise. He loves leisurely walks, dog park adventures, car rides, and exploring new places, but he's just as happy curling up for a long nap afterward. Snow isn't interested in toys or tennis balls, but he loves chewing on sturdy chews, never says no to a piece of string cheese, and absolutely enjoys being brushed. Bath time is met with quiet acceptance, followed by a few dramatic full-body shakes.Like any self-respecting husky, Snow thinks cool weather is the best weather. Summer heat isn't his favorite, and on warm days he may need a little encouragement to head outside. Once the temperatures drop, though, he's in his element.Snow is the kind of dog who makes everyday life a little sweeter. He's happy to join you on your next adventure, then come home and nap at your feet. If you're looking for a loyal companion with a gentle spirit, a touch of husky sass, and lots of love to give, Snow is ready to meet you.If you are interested in Snow, fill out an application at this link to get the ball rolling - https://pethavenmn.org/adopt/adoptable-dogs/dog-adoption-application/The adoption fee is $450. Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, heartworm/Lyme test, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and Bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchip implant (including registration). Adoption fees INCLUDE a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. Due to post-adoption services provided, we prefer to adopt within a 150-mile radius of the Twin Cities. However, we will consider up to 250 miles if the foster agrees to travel requirements and staff approval.

Story
COME AND MEET DIAMOND AT PET EVOLUTION ON GRAND SUNDAY 12-30-2:30. COME FOR GOOD FUN, GOOD CUDDLES AND MAYBE YOU WILL FIND YOUR NEXT BEST FRIEND. Diamond is a fuzzy, beautiful little girl who was surrendered along with her 3 siblings. They were living in a remote rural area and the owner felt they would not be able to find them good homes so they asked PUP to take them. They arrived well fed and well socialized. The owner had been able to provide the pups with more of lifes amenities than most of the people in the area can afford. Topaz and her siblings are outgoing and highly people oriented. She enjoys her outdoor time and she and her little family love to play in the wading pool. We submitted a DNA sample on one pups from the litter and the results are in and we had guessed mostly right. The litter mate has over 20 verified breeds, so we probably couldn't have gone too far wrong. She is 12% Siberian Husky, 12% German Shepherd and the rest are less: Chow, Alaskan Malamute, Samoyed, Shar-Pei, Border Collie, Australian Cattle Dog, Australian Shepherd, Miniature American Shepherd, Shetland Sheepdog, Collie, American Pit Bull Terrier, American Stafordshire Terrier, American Bulldog, Rottweiler, Golden Retriever, Labrador, American Cocker Spaniel, Chinese Street Dog, Miniature Pinscher and American Eskimo. We are guessing at Diamond's adult size at being in the lower end of large breed, but and her adopter should be prepared to love her if she is smaller or larger than predicted. Diamond is using newspapers in the house but is learning to take it outside and has made a start on housebreaking. The early months are when puppy learns the social skills needed to be a skilled dog in dealing with other dogs and a good citizen in the human world. Adopters should be committed to getting puppy into lots of new and different human social situations, hearing vacuums, trucks, and rattling garbage cans, meeting people who are clapping, laughing, with hats, tools, bikes and skate boards. AND puppy needs many opportunities to meet and greet dogs of all shapes, sizes and dispositions. Just sharing a home with another dog is not as much doggie socializing as puppy needs. If good canine social skills are not learned and maintained during these early months, it will be very difficult to ever master them. Puppy play dates, trips to the pet store, puppy socialization classes and later, obedience classes are particularly important. If all this doggie time and involvement seems like a good idea, you are up for a puppy! As always, a tired dog is a good dog. Puppy has been vet checked, is vaccinated, and de-wormed. She will need two additional puppy vaccinations plus rabies at the adopters expense. We do place puppies outside the metro area if a firm plan for the alter surgery is in place; we do not ship. Her required alter surgery is covered by the adoption fee if it is done by 6 months at the PUP clinic. We require that she be altered by 6 months. If you are at least 21 years old and everyone in your household is on board with adopting a puppy, CALL 651-645-4370 between 7:00 am and 9:30 pm and we will return your call within 24 hours. We are pretty slow at responding to e-mail. Renters must provide proof that you are allowed to have a puppy. If you currently have a companion dog or cat please be prepared to provide a vet reference prior to adoption if requested. ideo link https://youtu.be/aqdh0BHwA1w Filename

Story
Chucho is about 10 years old but loves to run around like he is much younger. He is a rescue from Hurricane Katrina and we think he might have been a herding dog from a ranch in Texas. He is very sweet, calm and well mannered. He is great with the 2 and 4 year old kids. He never barks or whines. He doesn't beg or ask for much - just to be fed twice a day, watered, and to be let out regularly. He doesn't even play with toys. Chucho deserves to be with someone who has time for him - go on walks - ride in the car, etc. We will be sad to let him go and need to be sure he gets into the perfect home. He is on a daily dose of Thyroid. He just had his vet check within the last month.
