Fiona is a beautiful 1-year-old Husky/Lab mix with a unique cream coat brushed with soft fawn patches and a mix of wiry and smooth fur. At 30 pounds, this medium-sized girl is the perfect blend of playful energy and devoted companionship.Once Fiona gets to know you, she’ll be your little shadow, happily following you from room to room and settling at your feet while you work or relax. She’s eager to please and already knows commands like sit, down, and off, with impressively good recall for such a young pup. She loves walks, playtime, and chewing (durable toys and heavy-duty bones are her favorite, stuffed toys don’t stand a chance!).Because she didn’t always have structure in her previous home and was used to wandering, a securely fenced yard is important for her continued success. The good news? With daily walks and yard time, she has shown she can be trusted and doesn’t try to escape.This sweet girl has some adorable quirks. She has decided stairs are optional and would much rather launch herself dramatically off the top step into the yard. She “talks” and chatters throughout the day but saves her big voice for important announcements, like reminding you it’s time to go outside. She loves ear rubs, belly rubs, treats (a LOT), and giving enthusiastic kisses. Car rides? Yes, please!Fiona has blossomed in foster care. She was shy at first, but with patience and reassurance, she quickly relaxed and showed her affectionate, playful personality. She’s still polishing her leash manners (she has a little Husky pull!), and she can get excited and jumpy when happy — but she responds well to firm, consistent guidance and truly wants to do the right thing.She is affectionate, curious, quick to learn, and ready to love her forever family with her whole heart. Adoption fees INCLUDE a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. Due to post-adoption services provided, we prefer to adopt within a 150-mile radius of the Twin Cities. However, we will consider up to 250 miles if the foster agrees to travel requirements and staff approval.

Arya is a beautiful energetic and friendly Husky. She’s 9 years old but still plays like a puppy with other dogs. She’s also really friendly with people and loves cuddles. I need to find a new home for her because my living situation has changed and I can’t take care of her properly, but rest assured she’s a fantastic, healthy and lovely dog. Story
Kal is a gentle, calm, snuggly, sweet, well-trained dog who gets along with everyone! He is easygoing and a joy to have around. I adopted Kal from a kill shelter in Montana last year and planned to rehome him in Minnesota, but I fell in love with him! His DNA test came back as 100% Alaskan Husky. Our time together has been so very special! He is very active and makes an excellent running partner, which we go on daily, but he would prefer a home with a yard, whether fenced or in the country, where he can have space to roam. He is fully potty trained, walks and runs great on leash, loves car rides, and is so quiet and gentle for a husky. He is affectionate, sweet and so easy to live with! Kal is looking for a loving home where he can enjoy space, love and companionship!

This is a sweet boy dumped in a random neighborhood. He is a little shy but is friendly. He has not growled, snarled or shown any anger to strangers. Not sure if he is house trained but can learn. He loves to play, run around a yard and just have some fun. He has done well on some walks and loves the freedom to be outside. A routine is best for him to adapt and flourish in a new home. He is ready to find a forever family. Located in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders.

SOS! Solomon is a wonderful 9 yr old husky boy needing an urgent home with no cats or chickens. He was surrendered for euthanasia for killing chickens. Huskies are notorious for escape artists when they are bored. Since he was pulled to the rescue, he has never attempted to escape our fence. He is fully vetted and house trained. He is fostered in East TN, but transportation is included in the adoption fee and provided by Rescue Riders LLC. His adoption fee is only the cost of transport.
