Story
Fiona is a 1-year-old Husky/Lab mix with a sweet, sensitive heart. She may be shy at first, but once she decides you’re her person, she’ll be your Velcro shadow—following you from room to room, sitting at your feet and greeting you at the door with a huge smile and a wagging tail. She’s eager to please and already knows commands like sit, down, and off, with impressively good recall for such a young pup. She does okay in her crate for car rides, but does not use it at home otherwise.In her future home, Fiona will require a family with a resident dog already to help her separation anxiety and fear of being left alone. Fiona does well with other dogs and cats, having previously lived with them. She may need to warm up to them but then she's ready to play! She does not have much experience with kids.She loves walks, playtime, and chewing (durable toys and heavy-duty bones are her favorite, stuffed toys don’t stand a chance!). Because she tends to wander, a securely fenced yard will be required in her future home. Fiona has decided stairs are optional and would much rather launch herself dramatically off the top step into the yard. She “talks” and chatters throughout the day but saves her big voice for important announcements, like reminding you it’s time to go outside. She loves ear rubs, belly rubs, treats (a LOT), and giving enthusiastic kisses. She’s still polishing her leash manners (she has a little Husky pull!), and she can get excited and jumpy when happy — but she responds well to firm, consistent guidance and truly wants to do the right thing.Fiona would make a wonderful companion for an active family that enjoys the outdoors but also appreciates a loyal Velcro dog who just wants to be by your side.If you are interested in Fiona, fill out an application at this link to get the ball rolling - https://pethavenmn.org/adopt/adoptable-dogs/dog-adoption-application/The adoption fee is $450. Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, heartworm/Lyme test, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and Bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchip implant (including registration). Adoption fees INCLUDE a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. Due to post-adoption services provided, we prefer to adopt within a 150-mile radius of the Twin Cities. However, we will consider up to 250 miles if the foster agrees to travel requirements and staff approval.

Arya is a beautiful energetic and friendly Husky. She’s 9 years old but still plays like a puppy with other dogs. She’s also really friendly with people and loves cuddles. I need to find a new home for her because my living situation has changed and I can’t take care of her properly, but rest assured she’s a fantastic, healthy and lovely dog. This is a sweet boy dumped in a random neighborhood. He is a little shy but is friendly. He has not growled, snarled or shown any anger to strangers. Not sure if he is house trained but can learn. He loves to play, run around a yard and just have some fun. He has done well on some walks and loves the freedom to be outside. A routine is best for him to adapt and flourish in a new home. He is ready to find a forever family. Located in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders.

So if you want to meet me and adopt me, you can be super lucky! i am a smart and sweet girl unfortunately I was at the pound with no more time left.... Until the rescue saw me and knew what a special girl I am and SAVED ME!! Now i am living in all the splendor of being alive and making beautiful music for my friends (howlllinnnggggg like a husky!)
