Story
Leo is a purebred Siberian Husky who just turned 4! We have had him since he was a puppy, but lifestyle changes have come up, and he is not a dog that will be able to handle apartment living or shared walls well. He is a typical husky and can be very vocal. He must be leashed or fenced at all times, he cannot be trusted off leash. He is good with other dogs, and friendly with cats, though he likes to interact with them a lot! He is good with kids, but he has the typical high energy husky behavior so older kids, or supervision with smaller kids is best. He is crate trained and housebroken. He doesn’t love car rides, and tolerates baths but isn’t the biggest fan. He likes all sorts of toys and chews. He is extremely food motivated, and loves dog treats as well as carrot slices & blueberries at treats. He is on a specific taste of the wild brand food, and can have an upset stomach on other foods, so a heads up on that. Happy to answer any questions you may have!

Story
HI - I'M SEBASTIAN! I'm a sweet, gentle, and loving 1-year-old Siberian Husky mix ready to start my life with an awesome person or people. I was recently rescued from an overcrowded kill shelter in California, in the nick of time. I am good with other dogs, love people and would make a wonderful companion for an active person, couple or family who loves to walk, hike or go on road trips! I get along great with everyone - and I weigh only 48 lbs. I'm the perfect size. I really dodged a bullet -- I was made urgent for lack of space at the shelter -- and I would love a chance to be adopted by an amazing person or people. Please email for an application. I'm looking for a foster or forever home, and am currently located in California but can be transported to Minnesota.

About Nixie: Size? Small-ish Activity Level? I play hard and snuggle hard! Noise Level? Medium - I bark when other dogs bark or there's someone at the door. Good with Dogs? Yes! I would do best with a playmate in my new home. Good with Cats? Yes, but I do try to play with them sometimes. I back off when they tell me to though. Good with Kids? Yes, but dog-savvy kids preferred. Good with Strangers? Yep! Potty Trained? I'm working on it! Crate Trained? Yes, with some encouragement Shedding? Medium ✨ Meet Nixie — Your New Adventure Buddy! ✨ Nixie is an adorable, fluffy Pomeranian/Husky mix (our best guess!) with a beautiful brown-and-white coat and a whole lot of personality packed into her petite 15–20 lbs. Don’t let her size fool you—this girl is energetic, spirited, and always ready for fun! 🌟 Personality & Play Style Nixie is a sweet, playful pup who loves to chase and wrestle with other friendly dogs. She would thrive in a home with a dog who enjoys active playtime and silly games. She’s been wonderful with the cats in her foster home—mostly ignoring them, but occasionally trying to initiate play. When they decline, she politely backs off. Nixie has also been great with the children in her foster home. She was a bit fearful at first, but after a few days of settling in, she became their loyal little buddy. 🏡 What She Needs Nixie is happiest when she’s busy, both mentally and physically. She’ll need: • An active dog friend or humans who can commit to lots of exercise and enrichment • A securely fenced yard for zoomies and energy-burning outdoor fun • A consistent potty routine—she’s making real progress and does well on a schedule • A cozy kennel—she settles nicely in her crate 🛁 Bonus Features She’s a pro at bath time… but also thinks running through mud puddles is the BEST. Nixie is an affectionate, joyful pup who will reward her future family with endless laughs, love, and adventure. If you’re looking for a fun-loving companion who’s as cute as she is spirited, Nixie might be your perfect match! Nixie is spayed, microchipped, and current on vaccinations appropriate for her age. Arya is a beautiful energetic and friendly Husky. She’s 9 years old but still plays like a puppy with other dogs. She’s also really friendly with people and loves cuddles. I need to find a new home for her because my living situation is about to change and I fear I will not be able to take care of her properly anymore but rest assured she’s a fantastic and lovely dog.

WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 🐾 Meet Huck – Your Missing Puzzle Piece 🐾 Age: 3 years Weight: 43 lbs Breed blend: Alaskan Klee Kai (compact Husky-type charm!) Huck isn’t just a dog — he’s a ray of sunshine with four paws and a tail. With his playful spirit, gentle nature, happy disposition and love for people and animals, he’s always in good spirits and ready for life’s next adventure. He’s currently living it up with his “siblings” and even the resident cats — and yes, he leaves the kitties in peace. Huck enjoys running, playing with other pups, and being right in the mix of family life. 💡 Fun fact: Huck’s smaller size and striking looks resemble the Alaskan Klee Kai, a breed known for being curious, intelligent, agile, and active — all traits Huck embodies! Huck’s Favorites: 🦴 Toy: His beloved dog bone — though he’s happy to chew on any safe treasure he finds outside. 🤲 Rub spots: Top of his head and belly. 🎭 Cute quirks: Occasionally howls like Snoopy, cocks his head and lifts one paw when curious, and will lean his whole body against you just to soak up as much love as possible. What Huck brings to the table: - Gentle, affectionate temperament - Fabulous with kids, dogs, and even cats - House-trained and knows some basic commands - Loves learning new words (he knows a lot of “human talk” already!) - Active and adventurous — perfect for an outdoorsy family Ideal Home: A fenced yard, other pets or kids to play with, and an active household where he can be part of the action. Huck would thrive with daily exercise and outdoor adventures, whether you’re in town with a yard, out in the country, or somewhere in between. Huck is that last jigsaw piece — the one that will complete your life’s puzzle. If you’re looking for a loyal sidekick, a BFF, and a constant presence to share all your “going ons,” Huck would love to fill that spot. Ready to complete your puzzle? Apply for Huck today at haydudeequine.org and let the fun filled days begin!!

Who doesn’t love Husky mix puppies!? These adorable fluffballs are as cute as they come — full of personality, playful howls, and endless cuddles! They absolutely love attention and want to be near their people as much as possible. Their favorite things include snuggling in your lap, carrying around their stuffies, and chasing after balls (though some are better at fetching than others!). Their mom is a beautiful white Husky mix, and while we’re not sure who dad is, these pups definitely inherited the best traits — charm, curiosity, and sweetness. They’re ready to bring joy, laughter, and a bit of happy chaos to their forever families! Local adoption fee is $250(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)
