Story
Meet Stormie!
This little one is a blank slate of LOVE and Chill all in one! Stormie is currently working on potty training and has a good start, and learning that 'sit' usually leads to a treat.
Stormie is food motivated so training this cutie should be a breeze! She is very smart, absolutely LOVES her people and I consider a velcro dog. Wherever you are, she is. She is very brave, curious, and is up for anything. She does great in the car, just lays in her bed and will either chew on her chew toy, or fall asleep until you reach your destination. Stormie is doing amazing on a leash and can't wait to meet her new family that will devote time to her and training at puppy training classes so she can polish off her skills.
Stormie sleeps in an expen next to our bed at night and generally sleeps through the night. We are in bed betweeen 9-10pm and up between 5-6am and she does just fine, not a peep or messes. Stormie does NOT like being confined to a crate but she is learning the crate isn't so bad with short periods of time experiencing it while we are away. Still pretty sure she won't like it no matter how short a time she is in there.
Stormie has met my 4 grandkids ages 4-8 and did great with them. There hasn't been anyone she doesn't like.
Stormie is currently fostered with 3 resident dogs and a feline. She is fascinated by the feline and will try to get the kitty to play, but if you have a dog savvy cat, she won't be a problem. She doesn't focus on just the cat and if the cat lets our a growl or a swat, stormie backs off. Stormie LOVES other dogs, so fun to watch her play chase with the neighbors small little Shih TZU next door.
Stormie will make an excellent companion for someone that enjoys the outdoors, hiking, fishing, boating, visiting brewery's. She is game for anything and such a sweet heart. Oh, and super SOFT! So far she has not shed, we are guessing there may be some poodle in her, but that is just a guess. She may be a breed you will need to have groomed a time or two through out the year to keep her coat soft and fluffy.
Stormi is estimated to be 10 weeks old and 11 lbs. Since we don’t know the dog’s actual genetics, this is just a guess on breed and size when grown. All dogs have had a vet examination, are up to date on all vaccinations, have been given dewormer and heartworm prevention. Dogs over 7 months have been heartworm tested.
