Story
Hi my name is Ace.  I am a 1 year old husky who weighs 45 lbs.  I have been through a lot in my short life.  Mr. Edgar rescued me as a puppy from a man who was not taking care of me and leaving we outside.  He could not keep me because his young son was very allergic to me so he contact Miss Vivienne for help.  She found me a great home but after 2 children and one on the way my mom and dad decided it was time for me to go back to Miss Vivienne.  She found me a wonderful foster home while I wait for my true forever family to find me.  Miss Jennifer is taking great care of me.  I get plenty of exercise and I love playing with her big dog.  We have the best time.  I did not know what I was missing and really prefer life with another dog.  I walk well on a leash after short walk where I pull you all over the place.  We are working on that and I am improving.  I adore other dogs and love going to doggie daycare.  I am smart too.  I am housebroken and I know several commands.  I am very treat motivated so training me with a morsel or two really helps.  I am happy here but ready to find my forever home.  I need an ACTIVE family and a fenced in yard is a MUST.  If you are a runner or a hiker then I am the companion you have been looking for.  My forever family must have husky experience.  I am neutered, current on all shots, heartworm negative and microchipped.  To be considered for my forever family and to request an application please contact Vivienne at viviennejames@comcast.net.  APPROVED APPLICATION AND ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.  (Ace is currently in Tennessee and can be transported north upon adoption.)July 11, 2024, 10:37 pm

Story
Meet Cobalt!   Cobalt is a stunning boy with deep blue eyes and a gorgeous bearlike coat of chocolate fur. His piercing eyes captivate everyone who meets him. He appears to be a Husky mix, possibly with Chow, but his exact breed combination remains a mystery.   Cobalt has been in a small-town shelter for over two months and urgently needs a helping hand to get out of his confined doggie jail cell. At approximately 2 years old and weighing around 40 pounds, he is looking for a loving home where he can thrive. This handsome boy will need clear guidance and training from a skilled dog person once he leaves the shelter. While he gets along well with other dogs, he is currently not neutered, which can present some issues in the play yard. Critter Cavalry Rescue is seeking a foster home or a permanent adopter who is willing to take Cobalt under their wing, provide training, and help him reach his full potential. We believe Cobalt will flourish once he is neutered and removed from the stressful shelter environment. He is not housebroken yet, but with a consistent schedule and possibly a bellyband in the early days, house training should be manageable. If you would like to be part of Cobalt's journey to a new life, please email us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com and mention your location. Critter Cavalry is based in Nashville, TN, but we travel to the northeast weekly. Learn more about our mission or request an adoption application at www.crittercavalry.com.   Let's give Cobalt the chance to shine and find the loving home he deserves!   #AdoptDontShop #RescueDog #HuskyMix #AdoptCobalt #CritterCavalryRescue #FureverHome    PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJuly 11, 2024, 10:37 pm

Story
Meet Panda Girl: Your New Best Friend!  Name: Panda Girl  Breed: Husky Mix  Age: 2-3 years old Weight: 48 pounds   Let us tell you about Panda Girl's journey which hasn't been easy. She was found at an abandoned house, left in a dirty pen with two other dogs, surviving without food or water for some time. For the past 9 months Panda Girl has been sadly waiting patiently for her forever home at a small town shelter, existing in a dark and depressing, tiny concrete cell. Despite her tough start, Panda Girl is a true sweetheart and still has a great attitude and grateful for any attention or moment outside her cell in the play yard. This girl is able to stay out in the play yard a lot because she gets along well with other dogs and adores everyone she meets. Her time in the shelter's play yard shows that she still has a  playful spirit and friendly nature.  This poor girl needs a break from this mundane existence in a shelter.  9 months is sheer torture and we hope someone will help her get out by fostering or even better, adopting.  Panda Girl deserves a loving family who will give her the care and companionship she craves. Could you be the one to offer her a second chance at happiness? Whether adoption or fostering, Panda Girl is ready to be your loyal and loving companion. Interested in adopting or fostering Panda Girl? Contact Critter Cavalry Animal Rescue today! Let's give this beautiful girl the break and love she needs. Email CCRTennessee@gmail.com to request an adoption application or learn more about fostering. We are a Middle Tennessee-based rescue, but we travel to the Northeast weekly for our mission. Story
Panda Girl is a beautiful Husky mix girl that needs a break in her young life.  This 2-3 year old girl that weighs 48 pounds was brought in to a small town shelter after being abandoned in a dirty kennel and left outside with no food or water with 2 other dogs. Abandoned and hungry and neglected, this girl has languished in the shelter now for 9 long months.  Small concrete cells are what the dogs stay in (4X 6) and for short times during the week she is allowed outside in the play yard with other dogs.  She does extremely well being friends with all who come and go.  Yes, she watches as other dogs get out and yet there she sadly sits.  She would be a devoted companion to any family.  She is good with other dogs and good with all people she meets.  Can anyone consider adopting or even fostering? ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.July 11, 2024, 10:37 pm

Story
Your new best friend could be sweet Bradley Cooper.  This handsomely unique boy is a 2 year old, 55 pound, Husky/Elkhound mix with lots of love to give.  His Frank Sinatra blue eyes are just gorgeous and he has the intelligence and personality to match his eyes.  Bradley Cooper has been neutered UTD on all vaccinations, HW negative and preventation, and microchipped.  This boy is being offered after he was found on a senior woman’s farm property and it was obvious he was dumped there.  We are assisting this woman in having him vetted thoroughly and searching high and low for a great family to give him a wonderful new place that he can hang out forever.  We have met this boy several times and he is really a true gem of a dog.  He has no imperfections and no bad habits or issues.  He gets along well other dogs, children and everyone he meets.  We have seen a side of him that is very true blue and loyal.  He is so very friendly and open to meeting new people and new experiences.  He walks well on the leash and enjoys making new friends while out on a walk in the neighborhood..  He is well trained and such a smart boy.  He loves to play and give kisses.  Bradley Cooper will keep you smiling and is so deserving of his forever home.  If you are interested please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   Tell us where you live, City and state and we will be happy to send you an adoption application. Bradley Cooper will make a family an awesome companion.  He checks all of the boxes to a near perfect dog.  PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJuly 11, 2024, 10:37 pm

Story
This is a COURTESY POST, so this dog is not at the Cornelius Animal Shelter. If you're interested in Keo, please contact his foster parent at 302-438-5766. Meet Keo! This big teddy bear is the sweetest dog you’ll ever meet. We believe Keo is around 3 or 4 years old. Our son started fostering him when his prior owner left the area and couldn’t take Keo with him, but he wasn’t an appropriate dog for a small apartment. When he first joined us, he was underweight and having gut issues. After much testing we discovered that Keo has a form of Addison's Disease, which is easily treated with a small dose of prednisone. His health is now excellent, and he’s at a good weight and is very happy! We’ve been fostering Keo for several months now, and he gets along very well with our 4 other dogs (both males and females). He loves to play, preferring to chase and be chased rather than retrieving balls or sticks. Keo loves taking walks and he likes to wade in the water down at the lake. He likes a comfy dog bed and will sleep on the floor right next to your bed if you let him. He doesn’t get on the furniture unless invited and is not a “counter surfer”. When Keo is excited, he vocalizes like a husky, but is otherwise a quiet dog – he doesn’t bark at other dogs or passers-by. As a larger black dog he looks imposing, but you can see the sweetness and focus in his beautiful blue eyes. Give Keo a chance, you won’t regret it! He deserves a great home.

Story
Meet Ace, a friendly and affectionate 1 year old, handsome Siberian Husky. Ace is playful but gentle and is very loyal. He still has puppy in him which makes him so much fun. He likes other dogs and kids but maybe better with older kids since he still does a bit the puppy nipping and jumping, which is common with young dogs and huskies. Ace is very smart and loves kisses. Ace weighs 55 lbs, is neutered, up-to-date on his vaccines and is heartworm negative. He is potty trained, crate trained and walks well on a leash with a harness. Please email info@angelstotheanimals.org to arrange a meet and greet or request an application. Please give this sweet boy a chance and he will love you forever!!

Story
Meet Bolt, a spirited and lovable Husky mix who is eagerly searching for his forever home! Bolt is the epitome of energy and enthusiasm, making him the perfect companion for an active family or individual experienced with the unique needs of his breed. This handsome boy thrives on adventure and would love nothing more than to join you on your daily runs, hikes, or playtime in the park. With his striking appearance and boundless energy, Bolt is sure to turn heads and melt hearts wherever he goes. Bolt is not just about high energy; he also has a playful and affectionate side that shines through once he's comfortable. His ideal home would be one that can provide him with plenty of physical exercise and mental challenges to keep him happy and healthy. As a Husky mix, Bolt can be quite independent and strong-willed, so an adopter with prior experience with Huskies, or similar high-energy breeds, would be best suited to meet his needs. To ensure a smooth transition and a happy future, Bolt requires a dog meet and greet before adoption. This step is crucial to make sure he gets along well with any potential canine siblings and to ensure that his new family is fully prepared to meet his needs. If you have a love for Huskies and are ready to welcome a bundle of energy and joy into your life, Bolt might just be the perfect match for you. Come meet Bolt and see if you can be the one to give him the loving, active home he deserves!
