Story
Meet Yukon, a charming seven-year-old male Siberian Husky who is bursting with playful energy, which will help him loose some of that weight! Yukon is the epitome of fun-loving and is always ready for an adventure. Despite his age, he still has the spirit of a puppy and loves to romp around and explore. Whether it's playing fetch or going for a hike, Yukon is up for anything that involves staying active. With his stunning coat and bright eyes, he's sure to turn heads wherever he goes. If you're looking for a companion who can keep up with your lifestyle, Yukon is the perfect match for you! He is fully vetted and house trained. If you are interested in adopting Yukon, please submit an inquiry directly to Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet’s age.   **Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. ** September 15, 2024, 10:43 pm

Story
Please contact foster at concord.scout@campbowwow.comThis beautiful blue-eyed girl would love to find herself a human to spend the rest of her time with. After spending the past 9 years with someone, Kali was left at the Shelter. She may be 10, but she doesn`t act like it! She loves to play with our pups in the play yards, but does enjoy snuggling up for a nap as well. She is extremely treat motivated, potty trained, and not leash reactive. She has not been tested with cats yetShe’s still opening up to most of our employees, but we can tell she’s very treat motivated! She’s able to be in the play yards and does well, we just give her breaks when we see her getting tired due to her age. -Seems to be potty trained -Positive body language through the fence with a male dog -Knows sit -Extremely food motivated, so should be easier to train -Loves walking + sniffing -Great energy level for her age -Beautiful blue eyes + a great smile -Happy girl -Flat hand for treats -Seems a little too interested in cats at shelter so would recommend none or super slow intros -Obsessed with blankets, loves to suckle on them-Does not pull too hard on leash, but does get excited and curious when she smells something really good-Does great in stores-Loves to meet new people-Gets mouthy when she plays, as does any Husky mix!-Not leash reactive

Story
Please contact foster at meetyasco@gmail.com-Yasco is gentle with people and a very sweet girl!-She starts a little reserved but rapidly warms up to people she knows.-She is crate trained.-She is potty trained. -Yasco knows Sit-She walks well on leash with only occasional pulling when rabbits cross her path! -She is dog-friendly in public (no reactivity on walks, just polite interest)-She is maybe a little too interested in cats-Very manageable energy level; she likes to walk and can be playful but is not high-energy-Good in the car and seems to like adventures. She used to live with another huskie before she was surrendered but we think she might be happiest as the only dog in the house.
