Story
If you are looking for a gentle, polite, and low-maintenance best friend, look no further than Luna. She is a 9 year old Shepherd mix who weighs about 45 pounds. She is truly an "easy" dog in so many ways and is ready to bring a ton of love to her forever home!  Luna is the ultimate houseguest. She is completely house-trained and crate-trained, and she happily enjoys her quiet, alone time when you need to handle your day. When it’s time for fun, she loves nothing more than lounging with her people and soaking up affection from kids. Walking Luna is an absolute breeze. She has excellent leash manners and knows exactly how to handle herself in public. If she sees other dogs on a walk, she is perfectly content to just give them their space and keep moving, or she will greet them politely if they approach her. Luna is at her absolute best when she gets to be the center of your world. Because she wants all your love to herself, she is looking for a wonderful forever home where she can be the only pet. If you’re ready for an easy, loyal companion to complete your family, Luna can't wait to meet you! If you are interested in adopting Luna, please submit an inquiry directly to Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet's age. **Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. ** September 13, 2026, 1:28 pm

Story
Meet Cubby – Your Adventure Buddy and Best Friend! Breed: Husky Mix | Age: 2.5 years | Weight: 50 lbs Cubby is a stunning Husky mix with soulful eyes and a heart of gold. After being rescued from an overcrowded backyard situation, this sweet boy has blossomed in foster care and is now ready to find his forever family.   Cubby has discovered the joys of life—walks, playtime, snuggles, and, most of all, people! He’s affectionate, smart, and always seems to be trying to understand everything around him with those expressive eyes. He’s especially great with children and loves being part of a family.   An energetic and athletic pup, Cubby thrives on adventure. He loves long walks, hiking, backpacking, playing fetch, running beside a bike, and splashing in the water. If you lead an active lifestyle, Cubby might just be your perfect match. And when the day is done? He’s happy to chill on his dog bed, content just being near his people.   Cubby currently lives with two other dogs and absolutely loves playing with them. He would thrive in a home with a fenced yard and another dog buddy—or as your one-and-only if he gets plenty of exercise and enrichment.   Cubby is not just a dog—he’s a loyal companion, hiking partner, and forever friend who will bring joy, laughter, and love to your life. All he needs is a family who will give him the active, loving home he deserves.    Fostered in Tennessee   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMarch 7, 2026, 12:24 pm

Story
Meet Lil Bit!! What we see is that Little Bit is an easy going girl that has melted right in to the background of the homelife of women who work from home and have 2 small dogs of their own.  She is respectful of them and is enjoying laying outside and enjoying the beautiful weather and the soft dog bed that has been offered to her.  She is crate trained and just fine.  She would love to play with the small dogs but they have refused her playful offerings.  As cute as she is, they are not interested.  The family we would love to adopt Little Bit is one that has a fenced yard and someone not gone 9 hours a day.  Shorter time gone is fine or even a work from home situation would be perfection.  She is housebroken apparently and she know how to cross her legs like a Southern Lady!   Some added weight might be good for this girl and a 55 pound healthy weight would be ideal for her.  She is a beauty.   A Husky/Shepherd mix is definitely the consensus of her breed.  She is currently 48 pounds and stunning in every way.  Please consider making this girl's Cinderella Story come true NOW!!!   Write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com        PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comSeptember 12, 2026, 2:32 pm

Story
🐾 Ace is looking for his forever home ❤️ Ace is a 9-month-old Husky who is sweet, loving, playful, and full of energy! He loves people and playing with other dogs. 🐺❤️ He is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. He has no behavioral problems—I’m only rehoming him because I’m leaving the country and unfortunately cannot take him with me. His ideal home would have another large, playful dog for companionship. I prefer no small children because Ace is strong and can get overly excited during play. I’m looking for a loving, responsible family who will treat him like family and give him the active life he deserves. ❤️ The fee is to ensure a serious, committed adopter.

Story
Tree is a sweet, affectionate, and incredibly smart boy looking for his forever home! He has a big personality, lots of energy, and an even bigger heart. He absolutely loves being around his people and is happiest when he can be included in whatever you’re doing.Tree currently lives with another male Samoyed and the two have become great friends. They love to run, play, and wrestle together. Tree does well with other dogs, but he does best with a slow, thoughtful introduction and continued guidance as he works on his doggie manners and socialization.Because Tree is an energetic Husky/Shepherd mix, he would thrive with an active person or family who can give him plenty of exercise, enrichment, and mental stimulation. He loves to run and would be an excellent adventure buddy for someone who enjoys hiking, walking, exploring, or simply spending lots of time outdoors.
